Asterclan, previously known as Timberclan. You are staring at a quite small clan that lives down
south, near the meadows and the Silas forest. Asterclan is named after a bright, vibrant violet fl
ower that is quite abundant here. They had a previous name, as mentioned above, though they
decided to change it after the break up of the clan. This clan has a deep connection with the sta
r pelted cats above, known as the great Starclan. They also have traditions, one in which an appr
entice that is about to become a warrior must bring back a herbal flower known as a primrose, w
hich is somewhat uncommon to come across here though its still quite easy to find. Asterclan still
has a lot more traditions though there are too many to name all at once. The clan preys upon var
ious rodents and birds, mice and voles and robins and thrushes specifically. Not once did they eve
r sunk their teeth into reptilian kills, the temperature here is quite bitter so there isn't really muc
h lizards or snakes to see.

The cats of Asterclan are known to be always alert and anxious, as if something is coming for the
m. This may be because of what happened in the past, with their former clan camp and territory
being destroyed by monsters that consume trees and exhale smoke. Everyone ran for their lives,
and, unfortunately, some didn't make it out in time. The flames captured the life of one importa
nt cat as well, the deputy whom was known as Breezepelt had inhaled too much of the smoke an
d collapse before he could make it out of the camp. He was one of the best deputies that had ev
er served in Asterclan, he is honored that day. Several other important cats had passed away, in
cluding Minkfur and Ashstorm, whom were relatives of the former deputy. Its been several moon
s since that incident and Asterclan will receive a new deputy to take the place of the tom.
