feeling flirtatious location camp , lake tags december , fenrir
minette stared at december once the charcoal vixen emerged, an expression of sincere observation glued to her visage. "i'm thinking something brighter.... lilac won't cut it. we need something that will help bring out your pretty eyes." she touched her nose kindly to december's ear, turning around once fenrir could be heard. her plume swung wildly as a greeting, azure optics warm as they gazed upon the male. "the rabbit? oh, you shouldn't have." she lowered her crown to latch her jaws around the hare, turning away from fenrir and offering it to december for the first bite.

"actually, fenrir. we were wondering if you could come with us? someone of your striking ability would be our perfect guard. you're correct when you speak of those ferocious mothers. besides, i sense not all is well in these forests today..." she trailed off, oracles returning to the hare and december. she leaned down to quickly rip a large chunk from the hare's innards, leaving the rest to her friend. after swallowing her cut in one bite she licked the ruby liquid that stained her ebony maw. "let's go, fenrir. december, why don't you find ossa and have her tag along as well? catch up with us in the western flower field." it was no secret minnie preferred the unique female over the others. ossa's appearance stunned the fae to no end, and whenever given the chance, minette would be all over her exotic beauty.

shooting fenrir an excited glance, she took off at a sprint down toward the lake. racing a subordinate was not smart, albeit she knew fenrir would allow her to win. her lungs screamed for oxygen, her muscles burning and becoming jello the longer the pushed them. it wasn't until she leapt out of the forest onto the lake's edge did she halt. her pink langue lolled from the side of her mouth, breathing rapid while her body worked to regain air. "finally we can be alone." she panted, cerulean eyes sliding over to fenrir who barely looked like the run was a struggle. "i didn't want december to be appalled by my affections." her tail began to wag weakly, cranium twisting toward the icy lake. "how do you feel about swimming? i've been waiting all winter to get my pelt wet!"

the youthful fae awaited her turn to be spoken to, noticing that there were several other wolves vying for the alpha's attention. just because the pair were close, didn't mean she rose to top priority, nor would she want to. some wolves were asking about the day's planned events, some trying to bribe him into liking them with food. finally, she was responded to, asked to go off alone with the alpha to discuss, well, something. she had no idea what it would be about, although she had noticed that he had seemed to be very distracted as of late, and she had been curious as to what it would be about. of course, he may not tell her, it may be something just too personal or something he wasn't comfortable sharing yet with others. who knew. but she dutifully and silently followed her dark alpha towards the edge of the camp, noticing that he was taking them outside of the hearing range of the other pack members.

she waited in silence for him to talk, her yellow eyes locked on his dark frame, her tail still, not moving even for a moment. as he spoke to her, quietly, her eyes widened just a bit, her pupils dilating quickly. "wow okay amoux, that sounds dangerous but you know that i am on your side, no matter what. what about we bring herta, akira, and talus? i think they each have unique skills that could help us on this trip. but we should definitely head out soon." akira was extremely quick and intelligent, herta was quite strong, and talus was loyal and brave, especially to her. she stood there patiently, waiting for a reply from her dearest friend.

He watched carefully as Minnie, December, and Fenrir exited the camp together,
the sides of his mouth slowly crept up in a smile. Every once in a while his ears
would flick as he listened to the chatter of the pack, he couldn't make out words,
only voices. Slowly his eyes danced across the wolves that laid before him. A small
group had gathered around Amoux, tilting his head instinctively Talus attempted to
make out what the bustle was about.

The sun was high now, casting dutiful rays of light across the grounds, he could feel it
grazing his back, comforting as it was, he feared longer days ahead. Quickly his ears
swiveled listening to the beautiful voice that waltzed through the air. Cheerfully
Talus greeted the fea, watching as the breeze ruffled her feathers, and gently tugged at
her fur. No doubt Tigris was as unique as the feathers lining her neck. It was impressive
that the duck feather still hung there with rest, it showed devotion. "Sleep well?"
The questioned rolled off his tongue as his eyes raised from her feathers to her crown.
And before his lips could be sealed he was spilling his thoughts. "You know, it should
probably come as a surprise that you managed to keep up with your duck feather
..."
He chuckled warmly "But by now, I would almost expect it of you."

Talus winked playfully, to him the duck feather was just like the albatross feather. Each had
a significant meaning and set each wolf apart from the rest. "I'm almost a little jealous that
I don't have one
." Teasing he turned away from her, to once more study the group among Amoux,
a sort of heaviness hung in his chest. "What do you think all the chatter is about?" A flint of worry
was intertwined in his words if she was listening carefully, he knew she would pick up on it.

𝑫𝑹𝑼𝑪𝑰𝑳𝑳𝑨 ❝𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑷𝑶𝑰𝑺𝑶𝑵𝑼𝑺❞
―(𝗍𝖺𝗀𝗌 - words )――☫――(𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝗌 - words )
―――――――――――――――
𝖿𝖺𝖾 𝗑𝗑 𝟩 𝗑𝗑 loner 𝗑𝗑 𝗅𝗈𝖼𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 - her den to the forest

drucilla shifted in her sleep, growling and snapping. this rarely happened. The gray fae kept shifting until she stopped, and fell into a deep sleep.

drucilla hopped to her large paws, feeling the sunlight crawl into the den and made it glow, also touching her paws. she noticed that the others were still sleeping, so she decided to leave the camp and explore. she used to always do that when she was much younger before she became a subordinate. the fae noticed the alpha was awake, talking to the beta. her cranium cocked over to the entrance. her mind seemed to say go. so drucilla did. she hurtled into the immense and fathomless forest, her paws thrusting up abundant clods of the earth. drucilla halted at the edge of the forest, being greeted by the large lake. it was drucilla’s favorite place to go when exploring. the subordinate took down big gulps of water, slaking her thirst. She licked her wet maw, feeling satisfied. her cranium lifted and her lobes flicked as she noticed something in the shadows. wide, blazing eyes, large paws. a predator. lynx. drucilla looked at the lynx in fear. the fae’s orbs widened in fear, her paws started running, the reverse way of lunar feathers’ camp. the lynx hissed, pelting after her. the subordinate scraped her muzzle against a pine tree and stubbed a paw into a rock. it made her slow down, which the lynx could catch up more quickly. drucilla howled in pain as the lynx bit her tail, forcefully yanking her to the ground. The two fought until drucilla threw a blow to the lynxes cranium, shoving it off of her. the lynx yowled, whipping away and retreating. the subordinate started licking her wounds and after that, she looked around her surroundings, lost. of course. drucilla wandered around, sighing and whimpering. she gazed at the sky. “i hope someone will realize i’m…” she fell silent, realizing it was hopeless now. she slowly starting to make herself a den in the soil.

drucilla opened her eyes, realizing she was making claw marks. she raised her head. doltish pack. she thought, her modules gaping a little and a growl slipping out. she crawled out of her den, shaking her fur to release the dust that was in her brown pelt. she inhaled the fresh air before another scent came in --- two scents, actually. a doe and a squirrel. her mouth watered at the feeling of their taste. the squirrel seemed nearby, so drucilla went after it. the scent became more stronger until drucilla spotted it upon a large tree. the fae quickly jumped in the air, her jaws clamping on the squirrel’s tail. she yanked it down, biting it’s jugular before it could react to her move. drucilla quaffed it down and followed the scent of the doe. she hadn’t realized that she was on pack territory since she was somehow still famished. she cocked her head around as she heard a sound. the doe. drucilla crouched down onto her bulky paws, trailing after it. her crooks dug into the soil. her quarters raised in the stilled air, ready to leap at the deer. her mind flared thoughts of her biting into it, which almost tossed her off. drucilla released her grip and lunged in the air, her claws thrusting out the does back. alarmed, it started running and pulled drucilla along. its head glanced back to notice the loner, her claws dug into the flanks. drucilla noticed her claws were loosening and slowly slipping off, so she locked onto the does flank with her fangs and held on. suddenly, her grip loosened from the flank and made her roll back, dirt racing into her mouth. her copper-colored orbs had flashed with anger. standing to her paws, the fae ran after the frightened doe. it was like a race drucilla was participating in, but she was losing. the fae sneered, picking up the speed to catch up.

drucilla had finally caught up to the doe. it looked tired, but it didn't stop running. drucilla leaped, and this time, she landed on the does back. she moved her weight to her forelegs to make the deer slow down. it ended up crashing to the ground and looked at drucilla with its black eyes. the loner bit down on the throat, watching the deer fall limp. she decided to eat where she was now since it'll be long to drag the deer to her den. she slowly started to quaff down the deer in a ravenous way.

OSSA
❇fae // 2 // tags -- here // mentions -- minette❇

ossa looked around in the darkness. her heart pounded. her tan occuli wide with fear. then a figure appeared right in front of her, a grin cemented its face. "u-uh... h-he-h-hello?" she whined. the fae didn't realize her anxiety disorder was playing around with her. the figure lurched towards ossa, growling, and barking. the young subordinate just stood there, watching it come closer. then everything dissolved.

ossa's eyes flew open, her heart racing. she sat up, looking around at her surroundings. no darkness. no grinning wolf. then she realized her disorder was just messing with her. she hated when that happened. now that she was awakened by her disorder, the fae ambled out of the den, noticing that almost everyone was awake and wandering around. she made her way over to her hidden pile in the corner of camp to get a piece of deer meat. ossa sat in her small hole that was nearby the alpha, amoux's den, she made and started eating the squirrel. she cocked her apex around to see amoux and her friend, antheia, talking to each other. ooh, what are they talking about? the orange lass wondered. she stopped eating the squirrel and watched them talk, her paws urging to move over to their discussion and eavesdrop. but she forced herself to stay in place and continue to stay in the hole and look around the camp. then she decided to move in the middle just for warmth from the radiant and golden sun.

feeling calm location camp tags antheia , thea , the pack
noticing the way antheia's pupils enlarged plagued the alpha with worry, as he had already assumed she was going to decline his offer or suggest a safer plan. to his relief she agreed but not without hinting at her personal concern. the dark fae's suggestions earned a nod of approval from him. "i agree. each of them seem like a fit choice. wait for me near the shaman's den while i make an announcement." he woofed gently, dipping his head to dismiss her prior to locking his confident gaze on the delta.

"good morning, thea." he greeted kindly, rising to a stance in order to approach her smaller frame. "today i will need you to stay behind in camp. i am leaving adryan and you in charge while i'm out. you're responsible for the welfare of the pack until i return. expect our arrival later tonight, but don't be alarmed if you don't see us until the sun rises again. if by then you don't count us i would like you to send scouts to the eastern border. is that clear?" his voice remained sturdy as he spoke, almost hitting a firm note to drill the importance of the situation into her young head. "follow me up the cliff." amoux quickly directed, veering away from her to trot toward the trail leading upward.

once atop the cliffs he glanced to his left to scrutinize antheia, giving her a mere second of his attention until he pointed his snout at the edge. he approached with caution, gazing down as the lower camp came to life. he checked on thea's position behind him before his deep bark cut the serene air like a sharp knife, "excuse me, everyone." he called to those huddled below. "i will need talus, akira, and herta to report to the shaman's den immediately. i'm leaving adyran in charge with thea. a hunting patrol should be heading out soon, so please speak to thea about the matter. i will be returning tonight with information to share." the god lowered his head respectfully to the tribe members until he had backed out of view.

"did you catch that, thea? this is going to be a test of your leadership. lead the hunt with confidence and gusto." his banner flicked from side to side tenderly, optics filled to the brim with pride as they scanned her. "that's the only advice i can give. i know you'll do well."

thea felt proud that amoux was testing her leadership, but she was also terrified at the thought of having to be in charge alongside adryan. she nodded as amoux told her that he knew she could do well, hope flaring in her chest that she could make it through the day. his orders rang through her ears. 'if by then you don't count us i would like you to send scouts to the eastern border.' thea had no doubt that she would need to send scouts, amoux was always on time. thea leaped down from the cliffs and wandered through the crowd of wolves until she spotted the also familiar muzzle of adryan, the beta. happy to be spending time with the fellow she-wolf, thea trotted up to adryan and then sat down next to her. "what are we doing first?" thea asked the beta politely, her tail thumping happily on the ground, creating a soft tha-thump, tha-thump sound that echoed along thea's ears.

fenrir smiled, his pink tongue lolling out of his jaw as he hared after minette, going slower than he normally would so that minette could win. he watched, narrowing his eyes as minette looked at the icy lake, but a mischievous look flooded fenrir's face as he leaped into the lake without a second thought. he splashed, tossing water onto minette's body as he rolled on his back in the shallow water. he stepped further into the water, curling ino the water as he shivered. cold to the bone, fenrir stepped out of the lake and shook his pelt, sending water droplets shattering against the surrounding trees, the grass, and minette. he chuckled lightly, happy to be spending time with the shaman he had a crush on. "umm, don't you need to get herbs?" he asked awkwardly, remembering the real reason they were out of camp.

Herta listened to the brute intently. "Lies arent something to miss. Especially if they are not your own; and thats not a lie." Her voice was a little softer than usual. She rather liked Anubis- and as he trotted away from her, the fae watched. Akira padded up as soon as Anubis had made his way a bit of a ways away.
"Morning." The jet black fae paused before rolling her eyes and muttering, "We aren't too clear on that either.." Herta diverted her eyes back to Anubis. Hesitating, she got up and followed after him- until her leeway was interrupted by a call from Amoux. Growling, she lashed her head towards the cliff. Her fur rose in frustration. Excuse me but I was just trying to leave. The subordinate's mind seemed to scream.
Grunting, she turned to look at the cliff and listen. As she did so, Herta padded back over to Akira and sat down. As Amoux called out her name in the list of names, Herta sighed. Well, thats one way to get me out of here. Gazing back to where Anubis was headed, outside of camp, she felt a little guilty. Herta figured she would apologize to him whenever she next saw him- if she lived through whatever Amoux was doing. Grunting, she waited until the last moment to head to the Shaman's den. "Later, Akira," Her voice was monotonous, but also teasing. Herta knew that Akira was to go as well- it was just a little jab.
After the fae reached the den, she sat and waited for further instruction.

A N U B I STMΔΠTICΩ
[age: 6 years] [rank: sub] [tribe: lunar feathers]
[sex: brute] [scent: metallic, dust & pine] [crush: open]
[mentions: adryan] [tags: adryan] [mood: tired]
The dark brute sat on his haunches and closed his eyes. Taking in a deep breath to calm himself. Being mad at the alpha for such a petty thing was, well, petty. He growled at his thoughts as his heart rate calmed. Normally the brute acted out of anger and did things he would sometimes regret. After several moments of peace to himself, he slowly opened his copper gaze and let a huff of air escape his maw. Now its time to speak with Adrayn. Anubis gained to his paws as he turned around and took his time to return to camp. The sun was moving slowly over the camp but wasnt doing such a good job at warming their pelts. There was a chilly breeze that sweeped past the brute and it sent slight chills up his spine. Breathing out a heavy sigh and seeing his breath was quite odd for him but he ignored it
Once when he found himself standing at the edge of camp, his soft gaze glanced around the area in search for the ebony pelted fae. The only one he can truly call a trusted ally. They were similar in enough ways to not get on each others nerves, and different in ways to trust one another. They had an odd friendship- if thats what you even want to call it. Once when the brute spotted the fae he padded up to her and bowed to her. The only wolf he has truly fledged his loyalty too. He didn't trust any other wolf to do the same- including Amoux. "Evening Adryan." His voice was rustic, there was a deep rumble within his throat that is almost always there. Anubis sat to the side of the fae, but made sure to keep his distance and give her the space she would want. "Have you done anything.. fun this morning?" The brute looked to her with a faint grin and his banner tapped the ground a few times before it curled around his paws. His eyes seemed to sparkle with delight as he always enjoyed one of Adryans stories.

Tigris kept a gentle expression plastered on her face as she listened to the brute speak calmly. Her ear flicked ever so slightly as she thought of what she was going to say. The Behmoth nodded at respective times to indicate she was still listening. A smile soon tugged at the corner of her mouth as she shrugged. "Well, I'm sure I slept as well as any other subordinate. The space is nice and welcomed, but t does tend to get cold during the winter months- which was the majority of the time." Tigris chuckled softly to herself at her own little stupid joke. When Talus spoke of her duck feather she glanced down and blushed the shade of a tomato, though she was unsure as to why she felt embarrassed. "Oh, yeah, I guess so." Tigris shrugged once more, not quite sure how to respond. "I guess I've always been one that was organized and one that cherished things from pup-hood." The fae thought back on her pained past and the lost feelings for her brother. She hasn't seen him in three years and she wasn't sure if he was alive. "My.. foster mother always told me to cherish things when I was younge. To keep certain things close to you and to protect what was delicate. I was given my feather like most tribe pups, and it was my first ever possession and it reminds me of the fae that raised me. So I made sure to take good care of it." The Behemoth let a long sigh escape her maw as she spoke of the fae she called her mother- even though she wasn't her birth monther, she still loved her just as equally.
The fae's head snapped up as Talus' tone was worrisome and it caught her attention. She looked over to where the group was and she tried to focus on what they were saying. They were too far away for most wolves to hear but it was even more difficult for the fae due to her slight birth defect of her left ear. "Well, I uh, can't hear what they're saying and I'm not that good at lip reading." Tigris said with a slight sag of her shoulders before straightening her poster and sitting almost as elegantly as a queen. "If it's a real problem I sure Amoux has it under control. If not than that's why he has the beta, delta and gamma, along with Phthonus. And if it's a problem that needs to be handled he will announce to the pack when it's right." The fae looked up to the brute and offered him a reasurring smile. "Do not fret. All will be fine." She said in a last attempt to help calm his nerves.

The deep chocolate-brown fae scoffed at what her friend said. "lilacs aren't that blah" she breathed herself, quiet enough where only she could hear herself. She absently listened to minnie's and fenrir's conversation as she continued her sorting throughout the den. her eyes rolled when they finally left. "tsk. of course min would run off without me with a brute" but there were no real hard feelings to her quiet tone of voice. she still loved minette like a sister even if she was extremely outgoing and stubborn at times. she finished up her tidying up as she eyed up the rabbit fenrir had brought for them. her mouth watered and her tongue lolled out of her maw as she skirted over quickly to the meal. she scoffed down her share of the rabbit and disposed of the stuff she didn't eat. licking her maw of the scarlet red remains of rabbit, she cleaned herself briefly before exiting the den. the bright light of dawn caused her amber orbs to squint in reaction. blinking her amber pools a few times to allow her pupils to adjust to the sudden change in light, she looked around camp momentarily. eyeing ossa from a distance, she slowly trotted over. her dark plume wagging in greeting as she dropped the large leaf which she would carry her findings in. "good morning ossa." she smiled at the other fae. she wanted to get going quickly and try to find minette and fenrir. "do you mind coming with me this morning to gather herbs and flowers with me, minette, and fenrir? minnie and fenrir have already left so I would like to catch up with them quickly"

"No," shaking his head Talus laughed "I found myself entangled in my bush this morning,

."
The sides of his maw raised, turning his smile into a toothy grin.
When Tigris glanced down, Talus's eyes followed, once more he was admiring her duck feather.
Why was she blushing?
"Tigris. There is no need to ashamed; it is as unique as you. You know, not all of us are
as lucky as you
." Chuckling the brute looked down at his own, only three. A crane, albatross, and sparrow.

As she spoke about her past Talus listened carefully, he hadn't come from this pack, his blood was foreign.
Another reason why he adored any wolf with the duck feather, it showed lineage.
He took note of her saying foster.
"That's sweet. How those who don't have to choose to go out of their way for others."

For a moment he believed her, he knew Amoux would take care of them, but he also knew how
the alpha preferred to deal with his problems on his own. Would he even allow the beta or delta to deal with anything,
or were they just to sit and look pretty? Just props to make the pack feel safe.
As she finished speaking Amoux appeared on the cliff.

Sighing, Talus rose to his paws
"If he's got all of them, what does he need us for?."
A sly grin pranced across the edges of his maw; the worry was gone
"We just do his dirty work" he joked. Tigris was right, Amoux was wise, he was foolish to worry.
"Till we meet again, my duty calls." Dipping his head, Talus left for the Shaman den.
Upon his arrival, Talus took a seat near Herta but made sure to give her room.
