the pack had been falling apart for years at that point, though no one expected the alpha to have a fate such as
he did. many feared the beta after that, but no allegations were brought against him. to be honest, no one could bl
ame him, estienne had been failing for a long time, and it was a surprise when he opened his eyes each morning. el
o had been leading the pack for him, seeing as the alpha forgot names and faces nearly seconds after introductions.
he'd forgotten the names and faces of his children and had to be reminded often, he had forgotten his late mate, ed
elweiss, entirely. the beta had taken on too much. he was estienne's caretaker, his friend, his leader. and he had no
one to help him. the healer was elderly herself. frankly, elouan had no one to help him. when morning came elo call
ed for a pack meeting. he announced that the king had perished during the night. that he was now alpha. that things
were going to change. that brings us to the present. its been months since that morning, the pack is starving, and sev
eral have been planning to over throw him for weeks. is it finally time? will you help lead the revolution?
