Zavia was honestly bored of this place already. It had no excitement, nothing new for the fae to explore yet, at least not alone. She had the slight fear that there would be something more violent than all of her, Akela, and Adryan combined. What though, she didn't know. With paws walking on the soft ground she joined Adryan, silently not opening her mouth until Adryan ceased to speak. Taking the time to listen however, she sat upon the grass, and listened to the Banshee and the brute exchange words. He seemed to be one of those who irritated her, and well, that wasn't exactly a small group that did. If anything, a useless wolf was one Adryan found annoying. Keeping silence untilit seemed that Adryan wasn't bothered anymore. "May I be of assistance." With words that didn't drip with honey, she looked to the elder fae. "I can do pretty much anything if necessary." She shrugged. Knowing how Adryan was, it was much better to just say what you needed and not sugar coat, as to avoid irritating the other fae as much as possible.

Assuming the form of a hyena again, the brute took off into the woods. As much as it was needed, hunting was of a prime order. More mouths to feed tonight, so more hunter work. He sat upon the grass, keeping his mouth silent as he watched for any sort of food to pass by.

Amaro von Alberic was done. Now, at this point, he was beyond exasperated. He just wanted the arrogant, self-conceited individual known as Akela out of his fur.

Immediately after Ivory yelled she wasn't finished with him, he whirled, and stormed backing look as angry and, frankly, ridiculous as ever. He's storming back here like he's on the warpath, ready to bring hell down upon whomever opposes him. And yet, he's merely a normal wolf, and an injured one at that. The white brute, clearly having dropped the whole nonchalant act - or even attempting to be that witty. "Just shut up!" Akela barked viciously in his face, standing mere inches away from him, slobber flying, yet the ebony brute didn't flinch. Instead, he forced himself to refrain from morphing into a raptor and clawing his eyeballs - or, better yet, just kicking him out of the temple with brute force. He won't last long with a whole in his side. If it doesn't get infected, than a dinosaur will finish him off... and an ego big enough to choke out all life on this island, it wouldn't take long at all. "Just leave, you are so comepletely useless. I told you it was a mistake, accept it, and quit talking about it! But no, you never shut up and you just keep on talking and talking! I have nothing to say to you, nor do I care for what you have to say. You are worse than a whole litter of pups! You can never bring talks to me about other annoying wolves ever again. I know nothing about healing, you are correct. I don't specialize in that particular field. But you are making a big deal out of an innocent mistake. I keep repeating to you over and over it was a simple misunderstanding, but you can't seem to let it process through that thick skull of yours! Do I have to repeat it some more? Do you want me to speak to you in sign language? Can you see my words, see what I am mouthing?" A liar, hypocrite and downright fool. I can, unfortunately, hear the absolute lies and crap your spitting out. I'm useless? He couldn't tell juniper berries from deathberries. He wants me to accept his so called 'mistake' than he'd apologize, but oh yes, that's right, apologizing in that convoluted brain of his is considered a weakness. Your right though, Akela, I don't know why I waste breathe on wolves like you. But I'm not annoying - I'm harmful. Harmful to your precious little ego, for I deliver the truth, the unabated truth, and you simply can't handle it. You didn't even try to argue what I just said about your hypocrisy - you merely started howling, laughing and roaring like a maniac, trying to cover up your idiotic mistake with more false braggadocio. Clearly you can even comprehend what I'm saying - perhaps I should dumb it down. Or just stop wasting my time.

I don't think I've seen anything sadder, honestly.
"So for the last [removed] time, just shut up!" Akela roared, before laughing as if he had heard the funniest joke. He wants me to waste my time. Oh well, I will no longer waste my life humoring this lost cause. I'm too old for this. Amaro's ears lowered, however, it wasn't in submission. He shook his head rather sadly, before lifting his cranium, focusing his single chocolate orb on Akela and stated one last thing. "Liar liar, rump on fire. If I'm so useless, than why was it I that saved her leg instead of you? If it was such an innocent mistake, then why can't you apologize? You indicated higher authority by attempting to order me about, or are you so lost you can't fathom that?" the older brute asked simply, before shaking his head. He then snapped his ears forward, and murmured, "Don't answer that, Akela. If you do, the whole empty screaming, demanding and acting will start again, and frankly, its a waste of my time. Your simply incapable of even bringing about a decent battle or argument, and I won't keep conversing with someone who keeps repeating the same thing like a parrot." Amaro, just moments prior, was going to order him out of the den - offering to use force, if necessary - however, Ivory, whom had just laid down, immediately pounced on the opportunity to speak with him again... for reasons the ebony brute couldn't fathom. "You're right, is none of my business, which is why I asked what her name was. It was a question. One you can answer, or just completely ignore. That's entirely your decision." Her tone was so soft and calm in the midst of chaos and absurdity that Amaro stopped for a second, just regarding her. Why do you even care? He has already clearly shown his true colors, and even stated that he wasn't going to speak about it. But soon, Amaro got his answer.

"Akela. I know you cared about her- whoever she was to you. You don't have to lie to me. I can see your pain, it is quiet easy really when it's the only thing that I see. It's the only thing I've seen for two years. Was she really that horrible that you try to forget her? What did she ever do to you that she deserves to be forgotten? Don't worry about you? That's funny. You seem to try to only care about yourself and Adryan but I know that if you truly didn't care for anyone else, there wouldn't have been a second thought about helping me. I know that deep down somewhere in that heart of yours, that you do care. I can worry about you and whoever else I decide to worry about." Amaro immediately knew that was his cue to leave, as he could tell by her soft orbs and low voice she didn't want him around - and honestly, nor did he want to be around such a messed up situation. But at the same time, he was absolutely miffed. She cares about him deeply. For the life of me, I don't understand why. There is so much I can say and do to open her eyes, and not allow her to deal with the abuse that she's willing to withstand. But Callia always told me to only intervene in such... endeavors when I'm in a clear state of mind. So, I'll take my leave, as I am very upset at the moment. My adoptive mum was wiser than any soul I've ever seen, heard of or met, and regardless of what my mind tells me, its Ivory's decision and I'll leave it to her for now. So, in terms of what should be my business; clearly trying to treat her is going to be in vain, for when he's around, she'll only listen partly - if at all, she's already proven she will listen to him to some extent - and won't be able to relax, which is the biggest thing. So I'll give them until after I've treated the others. If they aren't done by then, I'm kicking Akela out, if I have to morph to do it. I'm sure their are at least a couple more wolves in dire need - wolves that the self proclaimed Alpha has left behind - and I'm not about to let this petty squabble intervene with caring for them. Akela has made it painfully clear that he doesn't know how to give a damn for anyone whom can't somehow support his ego and twisted agenda, but that doesn't mean I'm like that, in spite of what he's insinuating. Inhaling deeply, Amaro boomed then, "I'll be back to treat whomever is willing. However, if there are any issues when I return, blood will be shed."

With that the ebony brute slipped out of the temple, not bothering to see if Akela or Ivory reacted, just relieved to be greeted by warm sunlight, a cool breeze and... Kane with nearly half a dozen wolves?! His expression was near comical - his silver maw when slack for a second and his single chocolate orb widened. With a great big sigh, Amaro rolled his shoulders back, shook out his head, and shot Kane a scathing glare. If only looks could kill. "Oh, Amaro!" the brute sang joyously, clearing reveling getting on his elders nerves as he eagerly and flamboyantly strode forth, head high. Ironic, considering he was the adolescent that said their were no survivors. Guess he assumed that the crashers actually gave a damn about each other and would help out their wounded. Nah, that's too rational, Amaro thought, but was snapped out of his thoughts but Kane's none-too-accurate comment. "A few crashers are in need of you're assistance. I would so deeply help them but...I have much better things to do than to tend to their every need. I've did my service and now I'm done." The ebony brute didn't even have to think about the words that came out of his maw. "Like hell you are, boy. Leave when I clearly need help now and I promise you'll regret that decision." While of course, it could be interpreted as a lame threat, as what was he but a wolf headed to the elders den? Amaro meant every single word he uttered. He didn't make false promises or spout lies. If you don't help me now, then I will speak to Dakotah and arrange for you to clean the entire beach of wreckage, limbs and corpses, with Adryan as your partner. But of course, the elder didn't say such. Following after the younger warrior, he padded through the entrance, listening to him speak. "One of them has a swollen leg, so I thought, if you had them with you, she'd need chewed up stinging nettle leaves to compress the swelling and something else to be used to hold it in place." Now he decides to use his mind and be of use. Well, now's when it really counts. Maybe he should be apprenticed in the arts of medicine - would help him to know how to patch up himself and others in situations just like this. Turning to Kane after thoroughly surveying the motley band of wolves, he simply stated, "That's a good idea, Kane. However, I have nothing but cobwebs, moss beds - not nearly enough - thyme and lavender. Adryan isn't back yet, so I need to make a herb run. I need you to wait here with them. Undo the bed, cover them with the moss to help regulate body temperature, give each of them a pinch of thyme to help with shock. If a wolf starts to fall unconscious, give them a stick; any kind of activity will keep keep the individual awake. I'll be back as soon as possible." Amaro started to morph into a raptor, however, stopped, and focused Kane with a serious stare. "Your the only one that I can rely on at the moment... don't let me down, Kane. Not now. Too much is at stake." That said, the ebony brute fully morphed and shot off into the wilderness, towards the meadow where he'd come from previously to try and collect the required live-saving herbs.

indentationHe was already annoyed that he had to storm back in the den, but he just couldn't seem to shake the flea, who seemed to go by Amaro, out of his fur.
indentationHe was absolutely annoying, spitting out words like he was old and wise. Akela couldn't help but laugh internally, questioning himself as to why he was still bothering with the older brute. Akela grinned at Amaro. But was it not you whose words have been repetetive ever time you opened your maw? You are pathetic, you old fool. You act as if nothing bothers you, like you don't have a care in the world, but I can see right through your poorly interperated act. "I have been repeating my words to you ever time you repeated yours. You keep saying the same things and every time I respond, it's utterly useless. You are a parrot yourself, mutt. Quit this little act you have, you can't fool me. I'm not going to apologize for you, your hilarious for even mentioning that. I'm just going to ignore you. You are worse than a pup. Take your healing bullcrap elsewhere, nobody here needs healing anymore." But the brute kept on going. "Don't answer that, Akela. If you do, the whole empty screaming, demanding and acting will start again, and frankly, its a waste of my time. You're simply incapable of even bringing about a decent battle or argument, and I won't keep conversing with someone who keeps repeating the same thing like a parrot." And Akela sighed, taking in a deep breath of air. "Blah, blah, blah," he slurred, pacing around as if he had a large alcohol intake. He rested his paw against the older brute's shoulder, patting it harshly as if he was calming down a baby. He walked behind the brute. "All that chit chat is gonna getcha' hurt." He pat the brute once more, although strong enough to shove the brute to the side harshly. Not intending to hurt him, but just to shove him. Don't get it twisted. You are a waste of time, a waste of breath. You need to learn to quit talking. I am disappointed in myself for standing here and listening to you blabber on nothingness for the past half an hour. I need to stop wasting my time. You clearly can't comprehend the words I'm processing. You aren't getting in my head, regardless of how much you try to.
indentationHis head perked up at the sound of Ivory's voice. His lips peeled back, revealing the sharp fangs inside. He walked closer to her, glaring his eyes at the fae, inching closer until their noses almost touched. Being much taller, he looked down into her hazel orbs, his own eyes calculating and cold. A throaty growl escaped his maw, warning the female to be cautious about what words she selects. "You don't know [removed] about me, darling," he slurred, his husky accent gravelly leaving his maw in a mysterious way. His eyes were dead, showing no emotion, until the corners of his lips curled into a psychotic grin, one that you would have nightmares about for the rest of your life. His different-coloured pupils constricted, giving his overall expressions a crazed look. Although not as if he was rabid or if he had gotten infected, a look one would see on a wolf diagnosed with insanity. He thought of what to say next, now knowing she could easily detect lies within the growls and barks. But with the maniacal smile plastered upon his maw, it was easily disguised and hard to notice within. His mind contemplated of all of the times he's ever murdered or tortured a wolf, picturing the gruesome scenes before finding the exact words to place in his next sentences.
indentation"You see, Ivory," He began gruffly, running his wet tongue over his upper lip and clearing his throat. "So, I had a mate, who was beautiful...like you, who tells me I worry too much, who tells me I oughta smile more, who tells me I gotta change my dark ways. One day they carve her face, right across her left eye here." He signals with his forepaw, extended his toes to imitate a clawing motion across his left eye. " And we got no healer in the pack, at that time. She couldn't take it, and I just wanted to see that beautiful smile of hers once more. Hmm? I just wanted to let her know I didn't care about the scars. So I grab the left side of my face with my claws and just do this to myself. And you know what? She can't stand the sight of me! She was furious and frightened. And you know what? That's when I finally saw with my own eye that she wasn't who she said she was, that she was different than I expected." He broke into laughter; terrible, hoarse sounds that echoed off the walls of the small temple den. He swung his head in a small circle, eyes rolling around as he settled down, closing his eyelids and moments later opening them, his orbs locked into hers. He inhaled sharply, smiling again once he exhaled. "You wanna know how I did it?"
indentationHe breathed in dramatically through his mouth, exhaling loudly as he prepared himself to start. "I followed her into the den one day, making sure no one was around. Our pups slept in the corner, unaware of what was going to happen before them. I called her name, waiting for her to turn around before I spoke. I looked dead in her eye and said, 'I'm going to kill you, right here and now. You are going to wake up the pups and you're going to make them watch. Of course, she got scared. She cried to her pups, yelling for them to run before screaming for help. You see, I didn't like that," his smile dropped slowly, as he stared into Ivory's eyes with his own crazed orbs. "Not one bit." He licked his chops again, inhaling sharply and breaking eye contact with the white fae in front of him, looking up and around as if searching for something. He closed his eyes, moving his head down in its original position. When his eyelids peeled back once more, he found himself staring back into her eyes, the grin back on his face. "I reached for her neck, first, raking my claws against the tender flesh. I used it as a distraction, proceeding to chomp onto her scruff and throw her into the sharp walls, then I slowly tore into her soft underbelly with my claws, savouring the puncturing feeling I made multiple times. I continued that process everywhere on her body until she couldn't stand. Then all it took was a strong shove and her spine was fractured. I killed the pups and left her to drown in her own blood, unable to move. Word went around that it took an hour for her to pass." If possible, his grin got larger as he let out a short laugh.
indentationHe backed away, dramatically spinning around to blabber on some more. "It felt good, really. I hadn't killed for the longest time because of her, and starting that beautiful habit back up on her felt.... breathtaking. I began to hate loners, as they just seemed to bring bad luck. And no female has caught my eye since. I don't regret a single bit of it, all those killings. I never did it for the title, the power, the bad boy look it gave me. I did it for the feeling. It felt almost... more than powerful to me. And it just became a part of me." He grinned slightly.
indentation"Do you want to know why I usually use my claws?" He asked, not expecting an answer and continuing nevertheless. "Using my teeth on their neck is too quick. You can't savour all of the little... emotions." He walked away, pacing around as he spoke. He recognized her earlier as an old member of an enemy pack he killed off. He only caught a glimpse at that time, but still knew it was her. His next words were partially directed towards her."In their last moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way, I knew your friends better than you ever did." He looked up and grinned his signature smile. "Do you want to know which of them were cowards?"

indentationShe felt a wave of relief flow through her body as Zavia joined in the mix, standing by her side and only speaking when she was completely finished. She saw Zavia as a... perhaps an ally, not exactly a friend. She didn't have friends, didn't want friends, didn't need any. Zavia was always pleasant around Adryan, and clearly saw her as a friend. Adryan felt awkward about this, as the feelings weren't mutual..... at leas, not entirely. But Adryan was glad that Zavia was in her presence, that she too was a crasher, as it would be emptier on the island without her there. She was the closest possible thing to a friend Adryan had.
indentation"I was just talking to Astro about the herbs and plants necessary at the moment." she replied to Zavia. "I appreciate your willingness. If you can, collect as many large, fluffy plants you can find and bring some sand too. Keep clear of plants that are poisonous or irritable. Bring them to the temple den where Akela is, and gather some more. I'll call out when we have a good enough supply." Some wolves found strange that Adryan referred to her father by his name on occasion, but she usually did it as a sign of respect. He also wasn't her father, at least not by blood, therefore she didn't feel uncomftorable about calling him Akela.

Baxter stepped aside as he heard another wolf approaching. It was the older brute. One who he respected. The male wolf looked at Amaro and his maw was agape. He was taking the dressing off of the fae and completely fixed their job and made it look and probably feel 10x better. "Well that goes to show that I'm no healer.." Baxter scoffed himself and felt bad for the fae. He probably put the poor fae in more pain than he intended. "I'll find the Chief." He stated with a bow of his head before he was off. Quickly sprinting into the forest then shifting back into his eagle form. "There I go again, breaking my own rule. I new it wouldn't last long." With a sigh, Baxter flapped his large black wings and flew above the tree level. The temple where the Chief resided wasn't too far.
Landing on the steps of the temple, Baxter shifted back to his wolf form. "Chief Dakotah? Are you here?" He asked curiously as he slowly walked up the steps and kept his ears perked. "We have crashes here on the island. One of them is badly injured while the others have a few cuts and bruises. I thought you'd want to come and.. well, do your thing?" Baxter said as he looked around. "Chief?" Baxter asked curiously.

Ivory stopped and looked at the brute. Every bone in her body was telling her to run as soon as she saw his smile. Everything in her body wanted her to leave him right now, run away while you still can but Ivory stayed in her spot. As much as it should have, the smile and crazed look in his eye should've scared her away but it didn't and she couldn't explain why. Something was drawing her to this crazy wolf and it made her want to laugh but she kept her face neutral. "Your dark ways.." The words were so softly spoken that she wasnt sure if they left her maw or not. "Im not asking you to change Akela." She began to talk but allowed the brute to continue speaking. But once again his words made her respond back in a way that even surprised her. "Im not fazed by your scars, isnt that clear to you? You dont see me running away." Ivory spoke in such a confident manner that she straightened her poster and looked straight into his eyes as he spoke. The pure white fae listened to the brute as he began to explain the faes brutal death, but Ivory was such an expert in this field that she began to smile a sweet smile and let out a short, friendly laugh. Now that is what scared her but she kept going. "You didnt kill her." Ivory said with a smile, but she was unsure who did. Maybe it was Adrayn. Or maybe she just died of a sickness. But she sure as hell didnt die by the paws of Akela. That i know for sure. "You didnt kill her, or your pups. I dont even believe that fact that you had pups, due to the fact that you left them out of your story on how you killed your mate." Ivory kept on her sweet smile before he began talking about her friends and then her face hardened then rested at something more neutral. Everything came flooding back. Her pack was destroyed by a rival pack an she and her friend Alice were the only two who survived. She fought for her life and she damn well deserved it. "That was you.." Ivory said in such a soft tone that she wasnt sure if he would hear it. Everything came in a rush and it left her speechless. "How many did you kill?" Ivory asked as she dropped her eyes to the ground. She didnt feel sorrow or sadness, but rather a pity for her packmates. Having to deal with such a grueling death.

"No problem." Zavia nodded and set to work. It was lazy really, pick leaves, carry back, repeat. It honestly gave the fae plenty of time to think, plenty of time to ponder the inner workings of Zavia's mind. With her body on autopilot, she was able to bring up thoughts that she had shoved down all so long ago.
      XXXXXXAkela
Still the brute had something that Zavia admired. It definitely wasn't the gentle soul...pfft, what was a soul when it came to him? He was straightforward and to the point. Whether or not the point was violent, that didn't matter. The sadistic nature? Loved it, it was fun, and not only that, Zavia had yet to be on the other end of it. It was to be kept that way. His past? Didn't affect her, it may affect him...that's the problem. Zavia was sure, however, that she could be there, even if it meant she would have to bare a fang once in awhile to assert herself. Even though she was dark as they came, Zavia knew her heart had a small soft spot for the Alpha, and most likely would for a long while.
      XXXXXXThe Human Abduction.
This was a mess, why was this allowed to happen? Needles poking through her skin, the tingles of whatever entered her system, the constant noise of speech from them. What were the wolves for? What was their ultimate plan? Perhaps they would show their true colors later on.
      XXXXXXAdryan and the other wolves.
How. Honestly how could they be able to change like that? It terrified her honestly, the ability to change form. Was it painful? Did it affect your psyche? Only they knew, and would they tell? Unlikely. It gave them an upper hand, an ability to threaten the crashers with the fact they are easy prey in this mess of a land, even though it could someday prove to be a weakening point. The only thing the crashers could do is they could get into the other packs inner workings and move up in the ranks. Only way to gain any upper hand. Unless Adryan truly chooses her father's side of the mess and defends that side.
      XXXXXXThe crashers.
Is there anything special in this pack as opposed to the wolves that existed on this island before the crash? Zavia knew there was only one way to find out and that was with time. Perhaps they would change form at random or there had to be a catalyst. She would have to speak to Adryan about this, when the appropriate time came.

Fangs sank easily into they prey he captured. The bird squawked noisily, more or less irritating the male. "Thanks you nasty parasitic bird, you scared away my other prey." In his hyena form, bones broke easily. Taking a harder bite, the fowl's neck broke easily and hung loosely. Walking back to camp he noted the different power struggles. He never really payed attention, but he noted a fae and Brute going at it. The brute proving his dominance easily. Even though he seemed quite intimidating, Arin didn't enjoy the male and didn't open his mouth a bit. If anything, he seemed like he was full of himself. A joke if you will. Alpha or not, Arin only respected his own.

indentationShe nodded, then begun to explore. She searched through the many plants and trees she had encountered on her walk, but none seemed satisfactory enough for her to gather. Thus, she decide to go farther north. It was a dangerous route, closest to the skull crawlers, but as long as she didn't journey on the opposite side of the mountain she wouldn't have to worry about the potential encounter. Here in the north, the plants were more dead and dry, but there were few trees with larger leaves on them. She grabbed a moutful between her teeth and ripped them from her branches, carrying them back to the temples and setting them outside a temple den, ignoring the chaotic laughter coming from inside the den. She knew it was that of her father, but still continued her mission as she didn't want to interupt whatever lecture the older brute was handing out.

indentationIt was clear that the fae he spoke to was holding back her tongue. In Akela's eyes, he knew she was frightened deep inside, especially when she responded to his final words. He smiled a cheesy, chaotic grin and rubbed the back of his forepaw against her cheek, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth and making sounds as if was calming down a baby. "It wasn't that hard to get rid of the healer, hunters and all but one of the fighters," he started, remembering how he took out a few each day. "The alpha and delta seemed to put up quite a fight, but I was able to kill them both. The beta I left, with scars she'd remember. I knew she wouldn't be fit for leading the pack, as that was the reason I left her alive. The omega, elders, and the pups were easy targets and left out accessable." He remembered he had a few serious arguments with the alpha, warning the other brute to not hunt in their territory again or he'd wipe out his entire pack singlehandedly- the alpha didn't realize Akela was serious. "I would've killed you too, but frankly I was too tired. How fortunate for you." And by admitting all these things, Akela realized he was winning. He wouldn't have to deal with Ivory anymore, and feeling a certain odd way about her. Ivory was getting even more disgusted by each word Akela spat, and soon she would ignore him entirely.

The fae couldnt help but chuckle. "You think i feel sorrow or pain for my packmates- well that is where you are wrong Akela. I could care less, im just pity them more or less, but im not upset that their dead. Maybe at the time I was but not anymore." Ivory turned her body and faced the brute, unfazed and unafraid. She closed the gap between them and plastered an ever so sweet smile on her face. "And you still think that im afraid of you." The fae said as a statement, not a question. "That is where you are wrong as well. You dont scare me, at least not anymore Akela." Ivory said with another sweet smile before she closed the gap even farther and they were nearly nose to nose. She could feel his host breath coming out of his nostrils. It sent chills up her spine. "Im not afraid of you Akela." Ivory said as she looked up into the brutes eyes. "Maybe im insane, or just plain stupid, but im not running away. I want to take the risk. Its exciting, especially with you." The white fae said in a soft tone as she stared into his eyes.

indentationAkela looked into the fae's eyes, inching even closer until he felt himself have the slightest gap between both of their noses. His smile faded as his expressions went neutral, thoughts overcoming his mind. "I'm in disbelief of your words, sweetheart, although I love the courage emitting off of you. It's.... interesting. I love it when I see others try." He felt himself grin for the slightest second. His pride got the best of him for the first parts of his words, and his sentence came off as arrogance. But he cleared his throat and backed away easily. "Although, I don't expect you to be... at least not yet, anyway. I've heard those very words from almost all of the wolves I've killed, so please don't try to disguise the anticipation behind your pretty little face." He turned to face her once again, this time moving even closer than before and holding her chin up with his forepaw, taking in a deep breath before letting it out in an exaggerated sigh. "I can tell you have confidence that you'll get answers from me, that I'll open up to you, that I can trust you." He started. "But I can guarantee you, babydoll, that will never happen. I wouldn't think of it. I see you as an obstacle, a road block if you must. I'm just trying to get each and every one of you out of my way so I can fulfill my future plans for me and my daughter. Even if I was to ever tell you things about myself, I know that you will leave immediately for your own safety. I have a body count higher than the ages of your whole family combined, yet that number would still be an understatement. I'm responsible for way more things than you'd ever think of, and many of the disasters in that area. Adryan is already doing her part, but I must say she is crazier than me. If I was to pass, she is just the replacement." He closed his eyes, shaking his head and scoffing. Stop blabbering, you idiot. He looked Ivory in the eye. "Now, sugar, I'd really suggest you rethink your words, as they lead to far more dangerous things than you could possibly imagine."

The brute sent shivers up her spine. This was exciting and she loved it. "Akela, I dont have to be an obstacle." She said in a soft tone as she watched the male with intent eyes. "You've threatened me so many times, and yet im still here. Im not afraid of you!" It almost came out as a growl but she kept her composure. "I want to take the risk, Ive already been through hell, why not I add a few more exciting events on my way back?" Ivory said with a calm smile, hoping he would accept her. "I know you can trust me, but it will just take time. Im not going to give up on you Akela. Im not like the other wolves, clearly. Youve seen that." The pure white fae stayed in place as Akela touched her fur, which sent another chill up her spine and made a few of her hairs stand on end. "I want to be with you." Ivory said in the quietest whisper, but maybe he was able to hear her. Her tail was basically wagging, but it seemed to go in slow motion. She didnt know what she felt in this moment in time. It was nerve wracking and excited all at the same time. She wanted to be with the brute but he sent her so many mixed singles that she couldnt quite figure him out at this moment in time and it frustrated her.

indentationAkela looked into the fae's eyes, as if treasuring and holding onto the words she just said. Words no fae, not even Amery, ever said to him. On the outside, externally, he wore a neutral expression, but there was surprise dwelling up inside of him. He never expected anyone to act like this with him. Sure, there was the occasional female who wanted to be with him and sometimes a brute who wanted to try to be friends, but there was an eagerness in this particular fae's voice that made him think that for once, someone was actually serious. He wanted to tell her was thankful, and possibly get to kn- No, you pathetic, weak-minded brute. She'll end up just like the others did. You should kill her, she's just in the way. Get your daughter, make a plan, and get the hell off of that island. You are weak around these new wolves. She isn't worth your time. You've always dreamed of having a perfect fae, one whose tough and heartless and is as broken as you are. She's feeble, weak, and a waste of time. And so, he couldn't control himself with his reply. He felt himself smile, laugh, and shake his head. Backing away, he looked her in the eye once again and spoke words he couldn't regret. "I don't need you, want you, nor do I care about you. Hell, I just met you and you've already disappointed me." There was a sunken feeling in his stomach as he said this, feeling almost pity for what he just did to this fae, but as fast as a light switch, he felt himself change. He felt heartless, normal once again. And he knew whatever the hell he did next, he couldn't control.
