- to say she hadn't expected the onslaught of vulgar jabs from akela or the promise of scars would have been an understatement. aerix knew that with an alpha like akela, who held so much power over the demons, every scuffle was often blown out of proportion and he would punish those for even the tiniest crimes. the pain was only brief when her alpha's claws yanked out her middle piercing of the three, leaving a jagged, triangular nick in her ear as the blood oozed out of the open wound and trickled down her ear. she grit her teeth, biting her tongue from growling back at akela as she received her punishment. she even held it the whole time the white brute bashed her quite harshly against the ground. a soft grunt left the fae's mouth as she rose to her paws afterwards, a grimace present on her face before she regained her posture, staring evenly at her alpha who had turned and paced off elsewhere to deal with someone else. the brown and black fae cast a glance in her sister's direction. how funny, now they both sported ear nick's where their piercings previously resided. they were both alike that way, raziel and her. they never could really contain their temper, aerix knew when to contain her venom, yet during confrontations such as the one with akela, she pride and anger got the better of her.
as her pack mates turned and began to file back towards the pack's camp, aerix remained where she was, her eyes that swam with distaste and anger staring after the group. she watched as the loners were dragged along with them, her vibrant amber eyes lingering far too long on the golden brute's lithe body. the assassin shifted her gaze from the group and lifted a paw to her mouth, her pale rose tongue darting out to dampen the fur before she lifted a paw to wipe off the excess blood that had trickled down the side of her face. it wouldn't have been the first scar she'd received from akela, nor would it probably be the last. once the gaggle of bodies disappeared from sight and their scent grew stale, the assassin began her trek towards the small pond that she scented nearby. she dropped her body to the ground next to it, dipping her muzzle into the cool water as she revelled in the icy tang. aerix had planned to take the next couple minutes for herself to regain herself and let her raging temper settle itself down before she returned to camp. long minutes passed and her eyes shot open at the sound of a howl from her camp. looks like they're already having problems with the loners she thought to herself as she lowered her head once more.
as her mind slowly drifted between thoughts, she felt her body relaxing as she had wanted it to. her thoughts were taken off to the strange golden brute who had almost rendered her speechless in their first encounter. it wasn't something she had wanted to admit but it was true that his presence seemed to disarm her and turn her into a wolf she hadn't seen since she was young...[removed]. had she not been pledged into the demons, their first encounter might had happened a little differently. she probably still would have tried to jump him but she wouldn't have been under orders to do so. her hand wouldn't have been forced to harm him nor would he have had to undergo the torture him and his family would undergo now that her pack had their paws on them. her thoughts were cut short when a loud bark erupted through the forest. it was one of her pack mates and by the sound of it, it wasn't good news. shortly after the bark had sounded three bodies streaked through the dimness of the forest a little ways away from her. the loners. so they had managed to escape had they? aerix was impressed, not many prisoners had every been able to escape their camp, let alone have the guts to attempt. and now these three had done it, and aerix knew she had to chase them down unless she wanted akela to kill her before she'd had the chance to do the same to her half-sister. rising to her paws, the fae stretched out her limbs before wheeling around and streaking after the trio. aerix didn't close in on them or attempt to get closer then she was now. she had pulled up parallel to the trio, keeping pace with them as they ran. it looked like the young fae was leading the group, the golden brute behind her, and finally amaro bringing up the rear. her lean legs worked effortlessly to keep up with the group of escaped loners and she hoped to run them down while her other pack members were able to catch up.

- cicero's chest rumbled with a deep chuckle and he nodded his head in agreement with dela's statement. it was easy to converse with the fae and cicero found himself curious to know more about her. "so" the brute began, shifting positions so he was lain on his side facing her. his thick white tail swept the ground behind him a couple times, displaying his silent eagerness to uncover the fae's personality and story before he opened his mouth. "what's your story?" he inquired, his bright hazel eyes resting gently on the fae
