Baxter eyes her suspiciously as his eyebrow stayed lifted in curiosity. "That's more like work. What do you do to really have fun. A carefree act. Something that relaxes you. Something that makes you forget about the trouble of the world. Something that makes you laugh or smile." He stated. A small grin formed on the males face as he began to think of something; hoping she would follow his lead, but he wanted to wait for her answer.

"look," she started, snapping her head in his direction with frustration. "you clearly don't know me- I get it. you don't know me, who I am, or what I come from so please, cut this whole happiness act." she inhaled deeply, closing her eyes and calming herself, before laughing. "you know what satisfies me? pain. putting others through it. seeing people go through it." she breathed in, eyes narrowed but a smirk on her face. "me being through it all makes it a relief to see it inflicted onto others. and my fun isn't what you other wolves like. I hunt for power, kill for pleasure." she laughed, turning around and shaking her head. "but otherwise, I do love running, swimming and doing stunts.".

The brute frowned slightly. "Maybe you can have a sort of alterego maybe. Try something different. It's just a suggestion.. please don't snap at me." Baxter said in a slight hurt tone. His eyebrow raised again. "You like running eh? Maybe i can try this...." He tried to casually walk over to her and his snout touched her shoulder. The brute backed away with a smirk and said. "You're it. Now catch me." Baxter said with a grin before he bolted off in the opposite direction. The wind blowing through his fur. He smiled calmly as he continued to run.

the brute gave a small smile, nudging her slightly with his nose. "look up, fawn. things can't be that bad without him, can they?" he knew that, before things had taken a turn for the worst, the fae had been head over heels for sebastian. it had affected him deeply when she had found out, and had disappeared inside herself as the pain had overcome her. "i mean. you have me, you know that? am i that bad at making you smile?" his tone was joking and kind, a rare event for him, but one he hoped she would appreciate.

adryan felt no ways at the brute's hurt, but was slightly angered with his actions. "tag?" she murmured to herself. "how childish." but as adryan said this, her heart pumped with eagerness. she couldn't help herself- she felt a need to chase after him. she shook her head, saying "don't.", but caught herself breaking into a sprint as she chased after the male. the wind glided through her fur, her speed so fast the air blew in her eyes, blinding them occasionally. she sniffed, scenting him not far away, and started to take larger strides until he came into view. she smirked, speeding her pace until she was in reach of him. with a quick lunge, she pinned him to the ground, quickly nudging him with her nose before springing up abruptly and running south- towards the mountain areas. she shortened her strides but remained at her same pace, giving baxter a quick chance to revive.

Fawn giggled and nudged him back softly. "You're right, it can't be." She spoke, her tail giving a small wag in response. For some reason it really did affect her. Her best female friend and her so called "prince charming" went behind her back. In a way she felt embarrassed and she knew she was the pity of the pack now. Her ears flicked at his comment, causing her to look up at him. "I'm glad I have you. Hey, you aren't bad at making me smile." She rolled her eyes and playfully tackled him to the ground, her paws positioned on each side of Riptide. A childish smile remained on her maw, looking down at the brute. Riptide seemed to always make her feel better, even at the worse times.

Baxter smiled as he ran even after he was pinned to the ground. He chuckled softly and jumped up immediately. "Now this, is you having fun." The male stated to himself even though she was out of ear shot. He sprinted off towards Adryan. He tried to lengthen his strides but he wasn't trained for long runs except for quick sprints. Baxter growled at himself and quickened him pace. He grinned to himself. The brute could see the quick fae coming in view. Making longer strides with a great effort. He tackled the fae and nudged her shoulder. "I think you're having fun Adryan." He said with a grin before bolting once again; this time his tail was wagging.

adryan panted, getting off the ground and watching baxter's silhouette slowly disappear. "fun?" she scoffed, shaking her body and stretching her neck. "i don't have fun." with that, she broke into a sprint, lengthening her strides and speeding her pace. she inhaled ad exhaled with ease, keeping her breath steady. when baxter came into view, she went full out and attempted to catch up to him fast.

riptide gave a low growl, studying her for a moment before moving suddenly and flipping the scene. the powerful brute now had her pinned under him, his large head cocked to one side, almost mockingly. "well, that makes all the world problems fade away, knowing i make you smile," he was being sarcastic, but not in a mean way, and hoped the sensitive fae didn't take it wrong. he stepped back off her, resting on his haunches once more and letting his tail wag slightly. "you're a hunter, fawn, you really should stick with that. that was a awful tackle," he added a moment later, a slight smile growing on his maw.

The male could hear Adryan behind him so he took a quick, sharp left turn and tried to run faster but it was just no use. He panted heavily but stayed determined. "Come on Adryan! You're not slowing down on me, are yah?" He asked in a joking tone; a large grin was on his face. Baxter had slowly began to slow down as he was growing tired.
