Just as Muanu was about to recieve a reply from one of the guards, something had caught their attention and they left without a word, the healer wasn't too surprised, they had better things to do than chat, so he picked up the herbs he left on the ground and made his way inside the camp. The brute paused slightly as he heard a male voice call out his name, he smirked slightly when he recognised the pawsteps behind him. Muanu didn't stop until they made it back to the healer's den where he placed the herbs, moss and assorted seeds he had found on his last run.
"Ah, goodmorning Nanook, you sleep in this morning?" he asked him, half ignoring his question while he sorted things out. Nosing a small pile he had earlier dropped in front of the entrance towards his apprentice, he hoped he would help him sort through things.
"An empty den? Well that's wonderful news-" the brute chuckled, sorting yet another pile from earlier.
"An empty den means no colds, no injuries, and plenty of space to find fresh supplies," the brute winked, hoping to introduce a more optomistic approach to the apprentice's thought process.
As a healer, somehting he always learned was to stay positive, sure they had been low on supplies but the fact that he found anything at all was good news and an empty healers den was even better as it meant nothing happened while he was out.
"Nanook, have you eaten yet? We should probably try to do one more run before half the pack is gone on that hunt," he commented, his dull grey and blue eyes curious as he looked over his shoulder at the pup.

Akeila swallowed hard,
Everyone and their grandwolf knows it's my first hut, she thought to herself, a meek smile as her tail uncovered her paws and wagged behind her. The nervousness seemed to leave her though as Edon nudged her playfully, perhaps it wouldn't be so bad. After all they hunted small things allone but if they went to take something big down, they would do it together. She couldn't much fail no matter how hard she thought about it and perhaps her skill in hunting would get her noticed by a male- good or bad she didn't know.
"Yes, very excited!" she barked with a nodd. Akeila could hardly stand the wait, she wanted to burst through the camp's entrance and take off after the first thing she saw, but she knew she had to wait for the alumni hunters call to move out.
"No kidding! That's incredible!... A-and a little nerve wracking too," she gushed, but quickly she felt herself get a little quiet near the end- her nerves were no secret. Quickly, the young creme colored wolf looked arond the camp grounds looking for something to distract herself.
"Say Edon, you think spring will actually come this year?" she asked, unsure of how things worked completely. It had seemed like winter never left, but she was excited to see the grass again, she knew it wouldn't be today or even next moon but spring was typically the time when all of the excitement happened. Overnight hunts, finding love, having pups, all of it was just a few strides away, but that was only if mother earth decided to let them have it.
