you were used to being on the streets.
you had always heard of feral cats that
would be trapped by humans, and never
seen again. but no one ever knew where
they went or what happened for sure.

That is, until it happened to you. You
don't remember how exactly, it was all
a blur. All you know now is that you've
woken in a strange place, with other cats.

Can you make your way into the colony?
Or will you be an outcast among those in
the Richmond Animal Protection Society?

Welcome to the Richmond Animal Protection Society;
a feral cat sanctuary located in British Columbia. Here,
feral cats are captured and neutered, before given a
place to stay until potentially adopted, if they aren't
too old for effective taming.

Complete with brick paving, gardens, and small buildings,
it's an appealing place to look at. But as a newcomer,
you may have to work your way into the colony and up the
hierarchy ladder that's already been established by the
other cats that have been there far longer than you.

With this comes the risk of never 'fitting in' at all, you may
be rejected from the main colony and have to live at the
edges of the sanctuary and socialize at different times - as
is common with cats sharing territories - and may even form
a small group of your own. Not without being challenged by
the main, of course.

How will you fair in this new environment? It will be safer than
the streets that used to be your home, yes, but the stresses of
your new life may make up for that
