❝a gray and golden-brown mixed wolf lay on top of a large rock, his front paws crossed neatly as he watched the wolves below him go upon their daily business. hot breath on his spine made his lift his fur in agitation. slowly, a growl crept out of his throat and he swiveled his ears to listen to the wolf standing over him. "why are you here, rama?" the wolf asked the leader of the eastern pack. he narrowed his eyes as he stood and turned to stare down his brother. about two years ago, rama had wanted to be the alpha after akela, his older brother, had been chosen to be the next alpha. going on a rampage, rama had taken about half the pack and former his own pack in the abandoned eastern lands.

there hadn't been a good history between the pack, skirmishes at the border occasionally broke out. akela hated his brother, knowing that rama would always be there to fight. "i declare war," rama snarled angrily, and then stalked off. his tail swooshed low as he exited akela's camp. fights soon broke out between the packs, and wolves bore the scars of bad blood between brothers. now, akela managed to pin rama and the brute soon died from the injuries. now, a new brute leads the eastern pack, and akela is soon to find out who this brute is at the moon-light alpha meeting in a few days. will this war continue, or will the bad blood between brothers pass on to raja's son?❞

》please keep your wolves realistic, no purple fur or wings or powers. this is a realistic wolf role-play.
》there is a character limit of three. i don't want to burden you, and i will take your own limit down if i see you can't handle the writing.
》there is a limit for each rank. once those ranks are about filled, we'll start.
》you must post at least once a week. if not, i will kick you out of this role-play. if you'll be gone for an extended period of time, please tell me or post on the discussion thread.
》please include at least the basics and one picture in a form that you create. all forms go on the discussion thread.
》colors on your forms cannot be super bright, as it hurts my eyes and makes it hard to read.

xxxxxpack rules (apply to both packs. can be broken.)
》you cannot be mates with a wolf of the opposite pack or a different rank unless given special permission.
》you can only have up to three pups in a litter. the runt will be abandoned. survival of the fittest.
》alpha's word is law. beta's word must be obeyed as well.
》failure to show obedience or subordination will result in punishment.
》traitors will be thrown out of the pack. if any wolf is seen harboring a traitor, an attack on the traitor will take place as punishment.
》to gain a higher rank, you must challenge a wolf of a different rank. you will then fight under the moon until the alpha declares the winner.
》if you break more than one rule, or you break a major rule, you will be demoted to omega.
》the pack will eat by rank. alpha, then beta, etc.
》omega will do all the dirty duties of the pack (cleaning camp, gathering bedding, etc.)
》the alpha of the opposite gender must be the other alpha's mate. same for the beta position.
》if agreed on by the medicine wolf, alpha, and beta, the medicine wolf can take a pup and train it to be the next medicine wolf.
》these are the laws of the pack. failure to respect them will result in punishment.

》camp - a large cave with several smaller caves branching off. each smaller cave is assigned to a rank. it is forbidden to enter the wrong cave, unless your a pup. the pups don't know better, and haven't completely learned pack law yet.
》river - a long winding river that separates the eastern lands from the western lands. it is the main source of water for both packs, and it is forbidden to cross this river, as if you do, you'll be on another pack's territory.
》meadow - in the heart of the eastern lands, ringing the camp, is a meadow. this place is where the wolves mostly catch their deer. otherwise, hunting is out in the forest.
》forest - the forest is what harbors the river and protects the meadow and the camp. this is where most hunting takes place, and where most of pack life outside of the pack takes place.

》camp - a small clearing in the far corner of their territory, a camp has many large bushes and a couple badger holes. these are abandoned of course. the pups live in the badger holes, and the wolves have their nests under the bushes.
》river - this river gives the eastern pack water to drink, and it is the line that separates their pack from the western pack.
》human den - in the very center of their territory is a large abandoned human cabin. this lace is great for days when the wolves just want to hang out. it's also a great place to catch small prey.
》forest - the forest is the other thing that the two packs have in common. a forest is what provides prey and cover and gives a place for the wolves of the eastern pack to hunt.

》moonlit lake - outside of either territory, to the north, lays a lake that perfectly reflects the moon. this is where the alphas, betas, or medicine wolves come to meet with each other for secret reasons.
