──────────────the─forest─────────────────────────────────────

the forest is the home to murky water's group, and their cats. they
hunt mice and other forest prey that the moor cats can not get. th
ey run swiftly throughout the undergrowth and find conglomeratio
ns of herbs here, and a plentiful amount of shelter, dens, and prey.
they are skillful climbers and hunters, and are very strong and ste
althy, despite their plump bellies and weak sense of smell. they st
ruggle to run long distances, and aren't as swift as heavy sun's cats.
despite how big the forest is, murky water claims the whole of it
hers', and doesn't let anyone trespass on it at all. the forest's left s
ide borders the river, which serves as a border for her and heavy s
un's cats and his camp. the ancient trails lead them alongside the
edge of the forest, where heavy sun's cats tend to stray past the l
ake and over the border. this is where the rogues frequently attac
k murky water's cats and dispute with them. however, murky wate
r (for now) has easily been keeping them in their own territories.
she forces her cats to patrol often, and never lets anyone cross th
e borders. she never allows them to cross- not in any circumstance.
rumors have spread that she sometimes will recruit rogues on her
territory, and very rarely, she will accept kittypets into her group.
though that is extremely rare to see from her, it does in fact occur.
──────────────the─thunderpath─────────────────────────────────────
the thunderpath is the border of murky water's territory, the river,
and the twolegplace. though the thunderpath is mostly old and ab
andoned, very rarely, it can be dangerous for the cats that are hit
by monsters, with twolegs in their belly. the thunderpath's scent
hits every cat that comes near, and impacts them with the disgust
ing scent of oil and twolegs. kittypets cross here often, only to stu
mble upon the scent-markers and the territory of murky water. on
the far side of the end of the thunderpath lies the border for heavy
sun's camp, so that the kittypets only have one way to the forest
or the moors to hunt: enemy territory, the ancient trails, or the
lake. all ways are dangerous for them, so it is rare to see them all
trespassing, ESPECIALLY on Murky Water's territory, her land the
dangerous one out of them all. rumor has it that murky water on
ce killed a kittypet, but kittypets say that she took him hostage.
──────────────the─lake─────────────────────────────────────
the lake resides in between the two main groups' territories (murk
y water's group, and heavy sun's group). it has clear, tasty water
and each group's cats have learned how to hunt the fish there. the
lake provides each group a source of water, herbs, and even food.
it freezes over during the winter, and it is safe for cats to (usually)
walk across the usual 5-inch layer of ice on top. however, only e
xperienced cats are allowed to go on the ice, and the leader must
always protect his group by testing the ice before anyone else. ev
ery half moon, murky water, heavy sun, and their mates or secon
d in commands take four cats of their clan and meet at the border
of the stream between their territories that meet the lake, and sp
eak about how their clans are doing. this often leads to disputes,
and when it does and their ancestors can foresee it, the ancestors
will shadow the moon with dark, heavy clouds and often a shower.
