Her eyes narrowed as the dog spoke. Perhaps she is right. Wouldn't I have stolen their other supplies already? A scowl appeared on her face almost immediately, though, when she remembered the promise she had made to herself. "It's tempting, it really is," she began, "but who am I to break a promise? Years ago, when I was banished from my pack, I made a pledge to never join another pack for as long as I lived." It disappointed her, it really did. The loner bent down to grab a mouthful of snow, cradling it between her jaws and allowing the crystals to gradually melt on her tongue. Nevith gulped down the cool melted snow - now water - and opened her mouth to speak once again. "I shall accompany you and your pack-mates... But only for a short length of time," she finally agreed. She had made up the decision in her mind minutes ago, but didn't want to seem too enthusiastic to pounce on the offer immediately. What would the others think of her, a rouge, joining their pack? Would they shake their heads at the thought of it or welcome her into their family? Would she choose to stay with them for longer than she intended to or would she leave at the first signs of dawn?
