Hello my friend. I am Skylark, king of the Jaquins. You are a Lone Jaquin are you not? Come now, don't try lying, there is not a scent of any others on you.
Now...I am going to give you an offer that most other kingdoms would not give you. Join us, help us in the quest to find the perfect place for our species to live.

This is an RP about a large group of creatures called Jaquins. Now, they may be in some sort of mythological stories, however, the versions I am using for this RP are from the new Disney series Elena of Avalor. Now, you do not need to be a fan of the show to join this RP, but I highly recommend you at least watch Elena and the Secret of Avalor. There are a lot of Jaquins in it, and they are stinkin adorable.

RULES
These rules can NOT be broken
1 - One Royal rank and One Noble rank per person
HOWEVER! If I have RPed with you for at least 5 pages worth of RPs, I am willing to tweak this rule.
2 - Characters are unlimited, just as long as you can handle them all
3 - Have fun!
4 - Standard Tess Rules Apply
5 - Try to have at least one character with duller coloring
6 - remember, these are cat/birds, they will act like that sometimes
7 - no god-modding or powerplaying.

Now...you are probably wondering what a Jaquin is. Jaquins are creatures who have the body of a jaquar, with a feathered tail-tip, feathers near their knees, and some on their cheeks, and most importantly, huge wings that are connected to their body, only at the shoulder. They are very flexible, and are often known to sing.
Jaquins usually have bright colors, but some are colored like normal jaguars, or other large cats.

In this RP, the Jaquins have just been thrown out of their home by an evil queen named Shiriki, and are on their way to find a new home for their race.

Will you help them find their way?
Or will you stop them from ever being truly home?

This is a list of the ranks in the Jaquin society, and simple descriptions of the jobs

KING
The king is the leader of the Jaquins
His mate is the queen, and their children will one day ascend to the throne
There may only be one at a time
He typically has very bright colors
THE KING OF THE JAQUINS IS; RESERVED for Cubone.

QUEEN
The Queen is the King's mate, the bearer of his cubs.
Should the king die, she will be in charge until the eldest son reaches age
If there are no sons, a tournament will be held, and the the kingdom will vote for the new king, based on the top three Jaquins
There may only be one at a time
She is known for her beauty and bright colors

PRINCES AND PRINCESSES
Princes and Princess are the children of the King and Queen.
The first-born son will ascend to the throne, and choose his mate from a small selection of female nobles around his age.
There may be up to four of these Jaquins at a time
Because both their parents have bright and decorative colors, these four typically do as well

NOBLES
These are the various nobles that assist the king and queen.
Once they are of age, they are offered to the princes and princess as mates, though the royal children will make the decision of who they will pair with.
There may be up to Six of these Jaquins at a time, two adults, two teens, and two children
They almost always have bright colors, though there have been dull ones detected

THE ARMY
The Army is made up of the Jaquins in charge of protecting the Royal family, as well as the Nobles, as well as Scouts, and the ones who patrol the village. They are usually Jaquins with duller colors, and sometimes even black fur/feathers, who didn't fit in anywhere else.

NORMAL JAQUINS
These are the Jaquins that make up most of the kingdom. They have various jobs, from baker, to fisherman, from poet, to artist. Their colors vary

CARETAKERS
These Jaquins are the ones in charge of keeping the Cubs safe.
They are usually female
There may be up to 3 of them at a time

CUBS
Cubs are Jaquins between the age of newborn and 5 years of age. Once they are six, they become normal Jaquins and are sent out into the kingdom to find a mentor, who will teach them a trade.
Cubs do not have to have parents, as most just dump them with the caretakers. There are some that live with their parents though.

Lone Jaquins are Jaquins who live on their own, and not under the rule of the King. They may have been born that way, or they may have been banished. Those who have never been a part of the kingdom, are always welcome to join.
