The weimaraner nodded her head as Andraste agreed to go with them. She turned her head to look how was the conversation between Eremos and Beau going. Luckily, the brute didn't have anything against watching the camp while they were gone. Lealia took few deep breaths. "It's time to go," She finally said, glanced at Andraste, at Eremos, and trotted off, towards the wolf pack's territory. The weimaraner didn't feel good about visiting the wolves on their territory, but it was the only way. The fae was afraid they'll be hostile. They did kill their leader after all! Would they hesitate to kill more dogs? Lealia slowed down a little, letting Eremos lead them. Her pendant ears were directed backwards what showed her concern. She was placing her long legs cautiously on the ground as if something was going to happen if she didn't do so. Although she was worried, the fae carried her head and tail high. She didn't want the wolves think she was afraid of them.

He perked his ears and turned head suddenly as somebody touched his cheek. The brute noticed Astra. The last wolf he wanted to see. Not because he didn't like her, Kenai enjoyed spending time with her a lot and she was probably his favourite and most trusted pack member. But the reason was different - he didn't know how he'll lie to her. The warrior's ears flattened as she asked him whether something's wrong. "Yes, but... I'd rather not talk about it now. Have you seen Ariya? I need to tell her something really important," He said and looked around in search of the alpha female.

Eremos [6] Shorty [3]

With no hint of reluctance Beau agreed to keep watch over the camp, and Eremos felt his worries ease a small fraction. He voiced his gratitude with a hushed, “Thank you,” before a tall ear flicked towards the retriever Atlas as his golden form swept past. Indeed, Eremos appreciated the Beauceron's compliance, though he also took note of the wishing of good luck-- they would surely need all the luck in the world.
Stepping back, Eremos turned tapering muzzle towards the form of Andraste, who's tall and powerful stature lent him some small bit of reassurance in the face of such a daunting task. Though no words left his lips, a great deal of appreciation was spoken through the softening of his burning gaze, and the faint dipping of dark head. Lealia spoke up and Eremos took a single moment, no longer than the blink of an eye, to toss a glance about the camp, his family, his home. Yes, it was time to go.
With a swish of his tail and the angled nod of his head the Leader signaled the others to follow, long sinewy limbs trotting with brisk haste towards the entrance of the camp. Brindled pelt so dark a shade of ebony rippled with each stride, muscles tensing and stretching as he led the way away from their home. “We will skirt the borders first in hopes of catching a patrol who might escort us, before we trespass.” He huffed, trying to determine the safest route to go about this. Though such anger bubbled up at the thought of the wolves trespassing, he still felt an impulse to respect the borders, the invisible fence line that would keep them safe from the wild beasts. Apparently they'd been wrong. It seemed borders could be as easily disregarded as stepping over a stone, and the thought sent another chill up the shepherd's spine.
It occurred to him Andraste was somewhat in the dark on the matter, and Eremos slowed up his pace a tinge to fall in step beside the much taller Wolfhound. “Lealia and I discovered the stench of wolf on Lucifer's pelt, as well as in the wounds on his throat. He was murdered by a wolf, and we cannot simply cower about wondering who they might strike next.” His tone was low and steady, though the edge of roughness still clung to every syllable. In truth, Eremos felt that need for vengeance creeping under his skin, lifting every hair to bristle his pelt, pricking every toe to urge his paws forward.. No. Eremos went on to draw his mind away from darker matters, “So, we will seek answers. If I am wrong and this is not some poorly aimed attempt at war, then we will do what we must to ensure nothing like this happens again.” And if this were a declaration of war, Eremos knew they wouldn't stand a chance.

The camp seemed just a tinge larger with a few less dogs, and upon noticing the Leader had stepped out, Shorty considered claiming the best place for sunning-- the highest boulder atop the Leader's den. After a quick sneeze that nearly knocked him off his paws, the Tibetan spaniel trotted his way up the rocky hillside, splayed paws scrabbling about stone as he climbed what would have been, for any average sized dog, a fairly easy task. Though for Shorty, it was one massive feat and by the time he made it to the top, pudgy legs gave out and he spilled like a puddle of dark fur and streaks of copper, all the while panting heavily to catch his breath.

He watched Ariya leave, then lowered his nose to the pup, sniffing intently. Raising his head, he lifted a large paw, patting the pup carefully on the top of its head. Its fur was extremely soft, unlike a wolf's, and it was somewhat curly. Were all dogs like this? Placing his paw back on the ground, he tilted his head to the pup. "What's your name, kid?"
            No answer from the pup.
Wolf got your tongue, eh, youngun? A little chuckle rose up his throat as he leaned down, scratching at his ear nonchalantly. In fairness, he wasn't doing much of a good job minding this little thing, but it wasn't making an attempt at an escape, so in his mind he was doing a pretty awesome job at pup minding. A wide yawn splitting his lips, his ears pinning back with the effort of it, he closed his mouth and licked his nose as he heard his name. Turning his head, his tail thudded against the soft ground as Pyro approached. He quite liked this male, and, judging by the fact that Ariya had just been talking to him, he would be joining them on their patrol. "Hey Pyro!" He almost chirped, closing his eyes in a genuine smile to the other wolf. Standing, his tail continued to wag happily. "Are you joining us?" He asked, with a tilt of his head. He looked down to the pup, then moved his position, almost trapping the pup in between his front paws. His gaze flitted to Ariya as he waited for her command to start the patrol.

Nodding to Lealia and Eremos as the command was given to move out, Andraste picked up a slow, plodding trot, keeping herself behind the pair of higher-in-command. She could easily pass them out with a long striding trot, but she kept herself behind. A snapping branch caught her attention, and so she looked to her left, but she did not hesitate, keeping in step with the Weimaraner and the Dutch Shepherd. While Lealia carried herself high and confident, Andraste trotted along with a low head and tail, her eyes up and searching constantly, her ears as close to her head as they could get. She kept pace, however, her deliberately short strides keeping carefully in time with the others.
Her head raised lightly as Eremos slowed himself to fall in step beside her. At his nose, it drooped, a low growl rumbling up her throat. "
I think all of the pack feared as much." She stated softly, attempting to hide the tremble in her voice. "You can be assured, sir, if this is an act of war, the whole pack will rally behind you to fight them" She stated, once more attempting to keep her tone calm and collected. Rage coursed through her veins along with fear, the cocktail creating adrenaline that might just explode from her given the right circumstance.

MENTIONS: EREMOS / DOG PACK

Pyro flicked his ear. "Yep, I'm joining." He replied. His eyes flickered towards the forest. "Hopefully nothing bad happens..." He muttered to himself. His heart pumped with anxiety. The scout glanced at the dog-pup. He glanced at Ariya, his heart leaping; usually, the alpha went with Daithi. Pyro shook the thought away, trying to hide his affection for Ariya. The brute flicked an ear as he waited the she-dog. "So, we're heading towards the dog pack territory, right?" He tilted his head.

nikolas - male - puppy - wolf pack camp - with ariya, storm, severe, pyro, astra, daithi - distressed, upset, confident, angry
niko watched curiously as the wolves argued over what to do with him. "we don't want to get into any more trouble than we are now," several of them argued for him. one wolf came up to him, scolding him for not checking territory markings. the only thing niko could use to argue was: "the squirrels were gon' eat our food!" but then, another wolf came up. this wolf, surprisingly, did not seem threatening to niko at all. "what's your name, kid?" this one took niko a minute to think about. would it really benefit him at all if he told them. decidedly not. "I don't gotta tell ya that!" he called after the brute, angry at him for walking away before niko could answer. after a long while of listening to the wolves talk, niko became frustrated with the glares that he was receiving. "QUIT LOOKIN AT MEH LIKE THAT! It wasn't my fault that eremos gave me a special mission to keep tha squirrels away from camp, then I saw a big fat one that was surprisingly fast that I really wanted to give to lucifer- AHHHH! there's a stick eating my tail!!!" I shout aloud, all in one breath. desperately, I begin to chase after that demonic and evil little stick that was eating my tail.

thalia - female - fighter - dog pack camp - with eremos, lealia, beau - annoyed, distressed
perhaps it is the utter silence of the camp, or maybe thalia's inner mother, or maybe it was even the memory of that first pup in the arena. whatever it was, it worried thalia. she couldn't stop thinking about how everyone was ignoring the pup niko's disappearance. what if he is hurt? what if he is dead? what if he was killed by those blasted wolves? it was impossible, getting her mind onto another topic. eremos and leilu were talking to beau, and maybe, thalia thought, this was her chance to remind them of the missing packmember. he has been gone for three days! maybe it is the stress from the past few days, or maybe it was the awkward feeling in thalia's gut that is constantly reminder her that she is, surprisingly, the only one who has remembered the pup. lifting to her feet, thalia starts toward the trio. her face regaining its harshness, but this time with a side of worry. "where is the runt?" she asks, keeping blunt. when all they do is stare at her, thalia lets out an annoyed sigh. "the pup. where is the pup?
