For years humans have torn at the beauty of the tropical rainforest. Devouring the trees and leaving behind a wide landscape of barren dust and ruined lives. The animals of the beautiful landscape have allowed this to go on, at first ok with the new inhabitants moving in and creating their own homes. Some looked at them as powerful gods with the ability to create their own homes and wolds and to change the very landscape and layout of the jungle. It was fascinating at first, even the biggest beasts of the jungle admired the humans for their creative ways... but now they have gone too far.

Less than half of the beautiful tropical landscape is left now, many animals have lost their homes and lives to the human's renovations. Most have had enough and no longer view the humans as gods, but trespassers. Tyrants. They have become aggressive towards the hairless beasts and there has been many reported attacks on the outskirts of the jungle now. Violent retaliations as the animals who have lost faith in this new species try to take back their homes. In response, the humans are hunting down specific creatures, those deemed to dangerous to be close to their homes and those who step foot on human land or their "constuction" zones.

It's become chaos, so a leader has stepped forward to take control, putting together her own group to better rebel in a more peaceful manor. Her goal is to save what's left of their home and stop the humans from expanding further. Together, her and her small group as well as her many followers hope to end the bloodshed and the human's needs for more land. But opposite her, there is someone who still believes in the humans and believes they can live beside these creatures and continue to worship them as "gods". Believe it or not, he too has followers and they are only violent towards one group. What they call... "The Rebellion."

- You know about the obvious no godmodding/power playing/marry sues I would hope
- Do not join and leave us hanging, this is how a roleplay dies and I don't really want this to die. A lot of roleplays in this thread die and I find that sad because there is some really creative ideas here
- Reservations will last two days, then the position will be reopened, but don't worry, this isn't a completely limited roleplay
- You may only have one important role, but you may have as many followers/warriors as you can handle
- Please stick to the species I have preferred for the rebellion ranks, they just make sense. If you wish to play a different species you can still be apart of the rebellion as a follower, they are just as important c:
- Rainforest animals only and keep them realistic
- Create your own form and I do love relation charts but they are not required. On the topic of forms, try to include how they feel about humans somewhere in there
- Post all forms on the discussion thread please
- Any big happenings will be left up to me and the two roleplayers that decide on taking on the role of the leaders. But the rest of you will also be asked, no worries

These are the animals that wish to peacefully end the human's extension of homes in their rainforest. The current ruler, or 'Queen' as her followers call her, wishes to save her fellow animals of the rainforest and stop the humans in more strategic and intelligent ways. Some of her followers however are a little different and would rather be violent. Those types of followers are the reason there is now two rival sides to this group. Those who still believe in the humans as gods and the humans them selves. But she does not punish these violent members, she knows their actions will bring punishment enough on themselves.
Within her order she has a group of close, chosen animals she believes aid her the most in this mission. The rest are her followers, there is she needs more help.

This little guy/girl his the queen's best friend and most trusted member. Their job is to fly the rainforest and report the human's movements. They often leave camp and are always out monitoring for the queen reporting back many times in the day to give suggestions and tell where the humans are extending to next.

The herbalist is the healer of the group, she specializes in the plants around the area. Her job is to make sure every member of the queen's group is healthy. If one is injured, be it their own decision or a planned mission, she will aid them.

The strategist is possibly the queen's most important member. He's intelligent, daring, and brave and knows an odd amount about the human's destructive machinery. He comes up with most of their moves against the humans with the aid of the small groups opinions and the queen.

This loyal little member has won the hearts of the humans and can come and go as he/she pleases around the human's homes and working grounds. The workers love the little animal and allow it in though open doors an windows. This little guy/girl is also very important seeing they know the human's next moves.

This hot-head is a member that believes the queen may have a chance at changing the humans. But his brother was killed by them for fighting back... making him bitter and a ticking time bomb when he sees a human. But the queen keeps him around as immediate protection and a guard for the camp hoping she can keep him from getting himself shot.

The queen has always believed in an elder's wisdom and this elder is quite fond of the movement the queen is running,even if she/he isn't fond of most of the strategist's plans. She likes to give his/her opinion and watch the fight for his/her ancient land.

This sweet little thing was rescued by the queen when he/she was orphaned by the tearing down and burning of it's home. The little one serves as a reminder for the group as to why they need to stop the humans from continuing forward.




These are the animals remaining in the forest that either agree with the queens ways or don't but still wish to stop the humans. Either way, if the queen needed them, most would be willing to help.

These are the animals that still believe the humans are gods and too powerful to overtake. They fear rebelling against them will result in even more death among the population. Their leader, or king, has formed his own group of animals that are to kill the peacekeepers they call rebels and stop at nothing until the queen understands their view of the humans. They believe that the humans will keep expanding but allow them to live there since they hadn't rebelled. The king isn't as structured however, all he believes he has are warriors and followers. Majority of his warriors being large scared apes and elephants who have seen the humans tame and use them to get around the jungle.

This is the King's most prized member, he/she is treated like royalty and may not believe in the king or be completely loyal, but he/she loves his/her job and that is crushing any animal the king calls upon.




These are the king's large and powerful protectors. They too fear the humans for they have seen them take out the fiercest of fighters and tame the biggest of the ancient beasts. They attempt to hunt down the peacekeepers and exterminate them.

These are the smaller animals that believe the king is correct and also fear the humans. They may not hunt down the peacekeepers, but if they run into one, they may be aggressive.
