Faria rolled her eyes at Clyde amicably as he swatted her arm away and smiled. A genuine smile. "Thanks, Clyde." She glanced at her little sister through the glass, then back at her best friend. "As much as I don't need a knight in shining armour" - she laughed a little - "I really appreciate it. I don't think I've seen Alessa this happy for days." She walked into the bakery, pausing a yard or two into the doorway to wait for Clyde.
Zasha returned from the back, carting a stack of patisserie boxes and dropping them in a slightly untidy pile onto the worktop behind the desk. "Here ya go! We might need these!" She held the grin for a few moments, then saw Faria and rushed out again, spluttering and flailing a little.
"Well... If you're sure... Anyway, I'm Saskia. If you want compensation or something, you should be able to contact me through the coffee shop on Oak Road. Or the guards' guild." Saskia smiled apologetically, then glanced at the top sheet, now in Salvatore's paws. "Hey, you write? You shouldn't be so modest. It's better than anything I could do. I don't even need to read it to know that."
