Mac looked around and saw Leon. He had never really liked the shepherd; after all, Mac was a dog of black and white views, and Leon had done wrong. But now he needed help. "Oi! On your feet!" The terrier barked. "We've got a rolling thief-bait, and a strange noble dog. You n' me, we're gonna make sure naught goes wrong, eh?" He challenged, letting his Scottish burr take over. He had to focus hard, or it would anyways. Even now, Mac could smell more dogs entering the scene. His eyes gleamed as he looked through the walls, looking for trouble.

Angus dashed along the walks and stopped short near Talia and Bane. He wanted to say hi, maybe make some new friends. But something held him back. The Scot growled faintly.

Jackson and Jake
Ex-Knight and Ex-Peasant Gerberian shepsky
(Tagged: Hawk)

The pair padded through the forest, Jackson had lots of thoughts through his mind and his brother, Jake seemed rather unaware of what around him. Jackson stopped for a moment, staring in the direction of the castle, a large wall surrounding it, he sighed not noticing Jake behind him, siting down and looking in the same direction, still smiling.

"Why are we stopping!" Jake yelled, while desperately trying to wag his short bobtail but failing as he placed one of his paws on Jackson sides, getting his attention.

"I sometimes wonder what would have happened if i didn't go with you" Jackson replied, trying to keep it clear as possible but glancing in the direction of Jake and his confused face he could tell he didn't do well. "Anyways lets continue," Jackson finished, standing up and starting to pad over to a good hunting spot so he could eat something.

"Hey! I see a dog in the tree!" Jake yelled, instantly stopping and looking at the brown husky in the tree, nearly giggling but not opening his own wings. "Needing help in there?" He asked, his small bobtail waging. unbeknownst to him Jackson had just turned around and glared at Jake, slightly nervous.

      ━━━━━━━━ YARROW
      with: astra
      rank: knight

the large dog growled at the woman before him, snapping his jaws with a ferocious click. thankfully, they were on a mostly abandoned stretch of beach, along the tree line. he could see another canine in the distance, but they were too far away for him to identify. the woman before him swung her large, thin stick towards him once again, and he easily moved out of the way, leaping onto the side of a nearby tree for added effect. the girl laughed lightly. yarrow quickly leapt towards her, carefully spitting a spark of flame at her stick. the wood was slightly damp, but it still caught. amber let out a short shriek, dropping the stick and glaring at him. the black canine quickly reared up onto his back legs and pushed her over gently. "no fair, you brat! you know using your fire is cheating!" she complained, but she was still smiling as she pushed him off of her chest, pressing a kiss to his nose. yarrow's tail wagged almost violently, barking in response.

both of their heads turned as someone called his owner's name, seeing one of amber's friends approaching. they both exchanged greeting, the guy, ethan, rubbing his head. yarrow watched the two talk briefly, understanding and caring for little of what they said, catching something about schedules. the conversation slowly ended as amber turned to him. "be good, yarrow! you're getting out of your practice early thanks to ethan, but you better not get into any trouble." she demanded, the dog only wagging his tail in response, panting slightly and ignoring his minor headache. he a wore an expression he knew said "who, me?" amber shook her head, a small smile on her face again. the two began walking back up the beach, heading towards the small fishing village.

left alone, yarrow briefly considered drinking some of the salty water, but he knew it would only make him thirstier. he also considered climbing up the same tree he had bounded off of, but also decided against it, feeling somewhat social today. he tilted his head slightly, turning to the canine standing alone on the beach. slowly heading her way, he quickly noticed it was astra. the princess was beautiful, for sure, but he had long accepted that he might as well not bother attempting anything: the female had a choice of anyone she wished. pushing away his negative thoughts, the large canine let out a soft bark to alert her of his presence before speaking. "hello, ma'am." he murmured quietly, dipping his head in greeting.

Leon
Knight German Shepherd

Leon got up, slowly mostly because frustrating the smaller dog was something Leon was oddly okay with. "Strange noble dog, huh?" He walked through the entrance to look out. "Strange, right," Leon muttered under his breath. He knew the emblem on the cart, after all he spent enough time with Dereth to know it. He knew the dogs involved with it, Natalia, who seemed to hate most people, and Bane, who seemed to be afraid of most people. Likely around working on trade and diplomacy again before heading to the castle once more, or at least their masters were. Granted Leon couldn't help but want to see Mac meet Talia, she'd probably bite him in half. "Right, you're in charge, lead the way." It had been a while since that cart had be seen out he supposed.

Bane
Servant Caucasian Shepherd

Bane's ears perked at the sound of a nearby growl, looking around he failed to spot the small dog at first, before finally seeing Angus. He tilted his head at the small dog, uncertain what to say. Standing up, Bane was a massive dog, most Caucasian Shepherds reaches around 28inches to their shoulder, but Bane was well above average by several inches. His thick fur made him look more like a bear honestly, but they were the Russian Bear Dogs for a reason. He waited, wondering what the small dog was going to do now that Bane was standing. He didn't mean to be intimidating honestly, just he was large, but at the same time he was nervous about strangers, more so when Talia was gone.

Bane opened his mouth to say something but immediately closed it, looking around for anything that could get him out of there without making it look like he was going to just run away. He needed something to do, something to get him out of this awkward situation, but no answer seemed to come.

Hawk
Archer Husky

Hawk heard the voices of two other dogs, of course someone would find him before he got himself out. At the question he held back the temptation of rolling his eyes, but he was still sarcastic, "I can't imagine what would give you that idea." He tried against to pull himself, "Ow, ow, okay... Okay all kidding aside, yes, more than likely I do." At least if he wanted to make it out of there with his wings in tact. "Any chance you have something useful to get me out of this mess? Preferably not fire. Fire seems like a bad idea, but I am open to other suggestions that involve getting out, unharmed. The most important part being unharmed."

"Right then," Mac huffed and nodded gruffly, then shook himself so that his fur puffed out and made him appear bigger. With a clipped step, he trotted out the door, down the walk, and into the street. He proceeded towards the noble and the commoner. He had no wish for trouble with them, just to offer his services and keep an eye on things. "Angus!" He barked. Gus's head popped up from behind a bush, and Mac scoffed. As Gus trotted over with his unmeasured gait, Mac tore into him. "Spying on pretty lassies again, eh? Head outta the clouds; I've need of your nose!"

"Maybe I'm not your servant," Gus muttered as he followed his brother.

Aspen watched from afar, the noble and her servant or what she assumed was her servant. Their owners seemed to be talking, probably talking about trading and other things among that. She watched for a few more seconds but lost interest when a large bird shining white in the golden sun flew overhead screeching at her. Her head pointed up as she watched with awe as its magnificent wings allowing the creature to defy gravity unlike her. Oh how aspen wished she could fly but the closest thing she could get to fling was running as fast as she could when her paws seemed to never hit the ground. How she longed for the feeling of being weightless and being able to gaze down to look down at the earth the shrunk below her. The dog’s thoughts were interrupted when the scent of other dogs greeted her nose. Her head quickly turned to follow the scent and saw two dogs in the distance, one a collie of blue merle coloring and the other pitch fur on their back made to look like a black wolf from afar. Aspen shook out her wavy coat to free the small grains of wet sand from the strands of fur attached to her skin. She carefully walked towards them carful to not look suspicious while she watched them with curiosity, as she got closer she realized the collie was Astra, the princesses’ dog. Aspen quickly stood straight as there was no need to hide from the dogs, soon aspen began her horse like gait over to the two dogs.

“Good day Astra.” Aspen spoke with soft voice and a head dip. Before the royal dog could respond the borzoi spoke again “What brings you out here?” Aspen looked to the onyx dog next to them and have a respectful head nod as a greeting. Looking at the dog closer aspen noticed he looked less like a wolf close up than from afar, he also was large and muscular but he was not larger than the borzoi who towered over most. She had never seen this dog before... or maybe she had and just didn’t realize it yet. The fae’s gaze broke away from the wolf-like male and back to the collie, she waited for a reply with her tail loosely wagging behind her.

♣️ Jackson ♣️ and ☮ Jake ☮
Ex-Knight and Ex-Peasant Gerberian shepsky
(Tagged: Hawk)

"Nah We're going up there ourselves" Jackson said, putting one paw in front of Jake protectively, Jake looked up at his brother confusingly and slightly shocked that Jackson was watching him. Jackson knew the if they help this husky they might get spotted but he's willing to take the risk. Jackson started thinking, about what had happened in the past, slightly hoping this husky wouldn't remember.

"But dog's can't climb trees!" Jake protested, Interrupting Jackson's thoughts. The big Gerberian Shepsky mentally face pawed himself and glared at Jake, nearly forgetting that Jake seemed to forget everything unless he was there, heck he even had to remind him that he was his brother

"Oh My Dog Jake!, You forgot your own power!" Jackson yelled, causing Jake to lower his already slightly folded ears as he quickly sat down obediently, slightly terrified, "Sorry, just good luck and don't faint again" Jackson finished as Jake opened up his own wings and carefully flying onto one of the nearby branches, with Jackson right under him, ready to catch Jake.

❄️ Snow ❄️
Servant Finnish Spitz
(Tagged: Dereth)

The small white Finnish Spitz padded though the castle having just finished helping her owner to do some cleaning when she let her go, Snow's paws hit the carpet delicately, trying hard not to scratch it, she remembered when her owner wanted to put a collar on her, and as much as she wanted a collar she felt as she didn't deserve one.

She got that thought out of her mind when she accidentally bumped one of the counter tops causing one of the vases to fall of, luckily for her she was able to catch it with her psychic powers just in time, she sighed putting the vase back on the counter and rubbed her eyes. The busy day yesterday had made her vision slightly cloudy, but not completely so she could still see. As she padded closer to the window she noticed Dereth, hoping he wouldn't notice the cloud in her eyes she padded closer. "King Dereth, may i help you?" She asked polity, waiting for a reply.

Leon
Knight German Shepherd

Leon followed Mac at first, not really concerned with much of what was going on. He was alert enough to his surroundings more looking for what was out of place. Once they were near Angus, he moved closer to the other dog, hearing the mutter, or at least part of it, the German Shepherd leaned down to whisper softly to Gus. "Wouldn't bother with that one. That, is Natalia, the King mentioned her a few times and I've crossed her path a few times. Her bark equal her bite, and both can be painful, even the King is afraid of her when she's mad, and she gets ticked off very easily. So, this should be a fun encounter to watch." He straightened up once he was finished, standing straight up like the soldier he was, at least when he was in public.

Natalia "Talia" and Bane
Noble Doberman and Servant Caucasian Shepherd

Talia returned after a few moments causing Bane to stand back up. "No luck?"

"None, lost track, probably just another dog, fast one. Wasn't worth chasing," Natalia explained before she looked at the approaching group. "Oh great, welcoming party."

Bane looked over, noting the two smaller dogs and the German Shepherd, he towered over them easily. "Guards?"

"Probably," Natalia just looked slightly annoyed. "Only recognize one, must have missed the pleasure of running into the other two." She practically spat the word pleasure.

Bane just looked at Talia, "Please don't start a fight with them." The giant furball hated when his friend started to insult guard or make them feel like they had to be on the defensive. He knew they just wanted to help, and were doing their job. Natalia was the one who felt like it was an insult to her abilities.

"I'll play nice if they do."

"You definition of play nice is what I'm worried about." Bane grumbled it out as he waited for the group. Once they were close enough he shut his mouth, not being the talkative type around dogs he didn't know well, Natalia was far better at talking.

Hawk
Archer Husky

"I met a dog once who could climb trees," Hawk stated, "Of course he wasn't very fun. He refused to chase anything fun up trees, always serious. That was a long time ago of course, last I heard he now lives in an outer settlement far away from here. Probably for the best, he was extremely boring." Hawk waited calmly, unaware of really what was going on. He tried to turn his head to look at the dogs, not really concerned about who they are, more concerned about what they were doing. He might have been wondering if they were planning on setting the tree on fire, because that seemed like a bad way to get down. "This won't hurt, right?"

Dereth
King Carpathian Shepherd

Dereth looked towards the servant at the sound of her voice. He silently tried to pull her name from his memory, he honestly was alright with names, but he met so many dogs on a daily basis it sometimes took a while. "Snow, right?" He wasn't completely sure but he was willing to bet he was right. "You know, you can just call me Dereth. King Dereth just seems like a mouthful and a tad too much, plus no one around who is rigid about tradition to complain. Unless you are, which then, whatever suits you." He was rambling a bit, but that was rather normal. "I'm doing alright though, for the most part. Nothing to worry about." Except for the dogs that were missing, but he didn't want to cause anyone to panic. He tilted his head slightly as he looked at her, "Are you alright though? You look..." He trailed off unsure how to describe that look.

Gus nodded at Leon, grateful for a like-minded soul. The little terrier quickened his pace to match him brother's.

"I'd nae start a fight, eh. The shep says the lassie can take ye on," Gus warned. He had never even remotely lost his burr.

Mac looked at Gus, contemplating what had been said. "Aye then. We'll hold our peace," he decided.

The party came to a stop in front of Bane and Talia. Mac bowed low, then looked the noble in the eye. "Welcome then, noble dog. I be Malcolm, chief guard. The one like me's Gus, normal guard. The shep is a .... probationary. We've come to offer our services, lassie," he declared.

Elpida || stray husky/labrador mix

Elpida hesitated slightly, looking at the village before her. She could easily tell by the smell that it was a fishing village, and there were plenty of opportunities for 'borrowing' with all the loading and unloading of fish, but she hoped that it wouldn't come to that. If her mother had managed to impress anything upon her wayward daughter, it was that stealing was at least less preferable to earning your way. Elpida twitched her tail slightly as she resolutely started toward the village, her sharp eyes darting about, searching for a red and white husky of unknown rank, as that was the description her father had given her of her uncle, Hawk. She yelped slightly as a horse draw cart came around a street corner, almost crushing her. She darted away, hunkered low to the ground, her slightly matted fur making some of the more pompous dogs avoid her. Even though they were only the dogs of peasants or merchants, there were still jibes at her current position. Ownerless. Elpida soon spotted a kindly looking dog who, when meekly asked if she had seen a red and white husky, pointed her down a nearby street. Elpida thanked the dog profusely, then turned and trotted down the indicated street, her eyes peeled for her uncle.
