she listened to what he was saying, trying her hardest to force a laugh at his charming remark. she shook her head and looked at her paws, before jetting her head up at his question. "powers?" she tilted her head, wondering if she should tell them both but decided to- she'd kill him if anything went wrong with her secret. "i have two," she started, lifting her right forepaw. "firstly, I have the earth element. I can control nature, weather, temperature, and more things like that, as well as make things happen." she looked in the sky and squinted her eyes. she gave a slight bark. suddenly, a blast of black lightning struck out into the forest, a loud booming noise. it hit a tree, which cracked and began to fall. quickly, royalty jut out her paw which connected the broken parts of the tree back slowly, lifting it up and back into place. "my second power, however," she felt excitement discussing this- this next power was what defined her. "is darkness. I can blend into the shadows and opened portals into the shadows, which leads me to an alternate universe, all dark, gloomy and ghostly. I can use my powers to haunt people and I can talk to deadly spirits, as well as a few other things." she smirked before continuing. "you can tell i'm using my powers easily. when I use my earth powers, my eyes and parts of my body glow dark green, and when I use darkness, they glow either black or red- depending on what part of darkness i'm using." she picked up her paws again, where it started to glow red. she moved her paw in the air into a square shape before hopping onto the mystical platform. "when you have either light or darkness, you can create," she pondered before speaking, "objects." she barked to the side of her as a glowing wolf-like shape appeared and barked, eyes glowing white and body see-through, before disappearing instantly. "as for my past, that is much, much darker, and part of why I got these abilities."

ajax chuckled. "thank you," he said, face still gloom. he nodded in agreement and continued to walk with her, keeping his space but also making an attempt to edge closer to her. he sat I silence before asking the first thing that came to mind. "tell me something about you," he said, almost stuttering, "i'd like to get to know you."

Vex looked to the male with a warm smile. The large fae swallowed as he asked that question which no one has asked her before. Her ears flattened slightly. "Uh-" She began to speak but wasn't exactly sure of what to say. "Well.. um I was an only fae in a litter of five. My brothers were favored by my parents because they were male and a fae wasn't as strong as one.." Vex trailed off slightly. "My mother always told me I'd be an unkoen wolf is some weak pack and that made me determined. I was determined to grow strong like my brother; but stronger. Then I left, I left to prove my mother wrong and I did. I became stronger then my brothers and I became an alpha of a very strong pack. I couldn't be more proud of them honestly. My mother visited several moons ago and she told me that my father passed away in his sleep, and that two of my brothers were killed by an opposing pack. I was sad that part of my family had died but I nearly scoffed in my mothers face. She didn't congratulate me, she never said she was sorry. I think she was jealous of me but I couldn't tell." Vex paused as she looked to the ground. Sadness clearly shown on her face as they walked. Her toned muscles would be easy to see if it was daylight. The large fae sighed. "I don't mean to ramble.." She said quietly.

ajax listened intently, nodding as she told her story. he smiled at the end, full of sorrow. "i'm sorry about that," he said, shaking his head and looking down, "your mother sounds like a jerk." he looked up at her again. (wb)

Lance watched with wide eyes as Royalty demonstrated her powers. "Well, mark me impressed," he drawled, then cocked his head. "Does that mean you can talk to dead wolves?" he asked eagerly, leaning forward a bit. A sudden thought struck him and he sank back down again, a frown on his snout. "It ever get lonely in that..." he started vaguely, waving a paw around and trying to find the right words, "Shadow world thing of yours?"

royalty eagerly listened to his questions. "yes," she said easily, "i can talk to all spirits, and I can een communicate with the great wolf gods." he licked her paw before continuing. "honestly," she started, "once the darkness consumes you, it can't ever leave. personally, I like the darkness and the alternate shadow universe, and I enjoy using the dark elements. it's spooky sometimes, especially when the demonic wolves and other spirits try to," she thought or a moment, "talk to me. the whisper, they tease. I do hear voices sometimes, but I have learned to put up with them and ignore them." she took a breath, "the earth element is lovely, it's easy, but the darkness consumes you. many wolves with the element kill themselves, but I put up with it because of my past."

Vex shrugged lightly. "No need to be sorry, it's not like it's your fault. My mother was just tough and stuck in the old ways. After my father died she became worse." She sighed lightly and threw out her tounge to lick her nose. "There's nothing I can do to please her becuase she still sees me as the weak pup that I was a few years ago." Vex said as she looked to Ajax.

ajax looked into her eyes, feeling sorry for what has happened with her. he thought more of his past, and whether or not a question would be asked about his history. he thought of things he could tell her, rather than the violent, cruel ways he went through. he thought of what it would be like growing up with a distant mother like hers- or even a mother at all. he thought. " regardless of her feelings, all your packmates would be very proud of you," he said, smiling.

The fae smiled lightly. "Thank you Ajax." Vex said calmly before looking over to him. "What about yourself? What was your life like before Intos, before Lavok?" She asked curiously before turning her gaze to the snow that was in front of her.

there it was- the question. he didn't want it to come to this, he didn't want her to see him differently. should I be honest? he thought, panicking. taking a deep breath, ajax told her the truth. "i'm not who you think I might be," he started, breathing slowly, "i'm more merciless than I seem." he sighed, swallowed harshly, then continued. "i was born far from here, way way into the east, where I grew up in he most cruel pack. my mother and father abandoned me there and left, starting new lives with a new litter of pups." he felt anger rising within him, but kept his cool and spoke again, "the alpha of the pack at the time, reaper, treated me miserably, and it was the most horrific and gruesome time in my life." he looked up at her, eyes full of hatred and anger. "when I was around a year and half, there was war- a new pack came, they battled against my own, but I noticed something off about this pack- my mother and father lead it." he tried his best to word it as delicate as possible, but struggled. "during the war, I snuck into the alpha's den and killed reaper and his mate, artemis, and when my mom and dad took me in their pack after taking over the territory, I thirsted for revenge." he looked down, unable to hold eye contact with vex. "i gathered the remaining wolves in my old pack, including the alpha's pups, and-" he came out directly and said it- "i killed my parents and their litter." he looked her in the eye, saddened. "i killed my mother in her sleep, quick and simple, but some of the pups woke up." as he told this part, he felt himself laughing, questioning his own sanity, "i killed them all but one, and let it flee into the forest, where the alpha's son later brought her in the pack as his own daughter, and for my dad it was the worst," he had stopped laughing by now, his face more of a smile with a grimace. " I bit him and drowned him, all details aside." he looked up at her. "i'm sorry." he knew he screwed up his chance with vex, and vex would see him in such a horrific way, but he was honest. fire bubbled up in his throat as he spoke once again. "it consumed me, the anger it granted me this power. my parents were so terrile to me before my new pack, and I will alwa-" he stopped and turned the opposite direction, yelling "DAMN THEM!" s he yelled, the fire n his throat was released, engulfing a tree in flames. panting, he walked up to it and touched it, the fire disappearing and leaving the tree's burnt remainants behind.

Rose's soft eyes flickered. "W...I dont remember. I think it might have been... Its all so fuzzy." She wavered in place, her head bowed and she lowered her ears. "The dog died. Someone killed him.. was it Silver Rain." She looked around silently, watching a flick of light behind Sky. She stared for a moment, but continued her story. "Well before he died, he slashed my throat. I passed out, of course, and... well now you know.." She looked to the hard ground, licking up the rest of the water.
