The small, unmoving figure laid silently across the ground, drenched in a light dusting of snow. Her eyelids were tightly shut, and were yet to reveal the female's pale blue eyes. Most wolves would have stepped on Psyche with her white fur blending into the cold snow if it wasn't for her subtle breathing. But even her slow breaths were quite quiet. The purely white she-wolf shifted a bit, disrupting the layer of snow forming on her body, and her light pink nose twitched as a few droplets of the same substance dripped down from a thin tree branch hanging above.
Psyche's small figure then moved once more, and the female's eyes cracked open to see a blurry vision of the outside world. Her tired eyes scanned around, but couldn't seem to find Calista, the pack's beta. Perhaps the she-wolf had gone hunting somewhere or was taking a walk. Some wolves didn't quite accepted Calista yet, but Psyche always thought that the she-wolf was kind and would make a peaceful leader. Yawning, the female shakily rose to her small paws and gently shook remaining snow from her cold pelt.
After some thinking, Psyche decided to stay where she was and take a few more moments to awake. The she-wolf's blue orbs were still producing slightly blurry images, and she needed to sit and warm up for a while after a long night of snow.
