Rain giggled "well waiter, how about whatever prey you find first?" she said, in between giggles

Kalii- she laughed. "Very well, m'lady." she padded over to the kill pile, passing Riley. She growled a hello, then picked up a rabbit from the kill pile in her maw. Once she had gotten back, she laid it down in front of Rain. "Madam." she joked.

Rain smiled at Kalii "Thank you so much! would you like to share this with me? there is plenty" she offered smiling up at her friend

Kalii- she shook her head. "You eat it all, those little ones need all the strength they can get." She joked.

Rain smiled, and started eating it. She smiled up at the young Dog "so what's your back story? Where were you when the humans left?

Kalii- she flinched. "It's...... Complicated." She growled. Even as Rain was a to-be-mother and one of her good friends, she couldn't help but have it coming out harsh. "Long story."

"Yes," she said softly "I am sure it was" he eyes were grave, then she smiled "would you like to hear Riley and I's story?"

Kalii- she nodded. "That sounds nice." she laid down. "Tell me." she said softly.

Rain smiled at Kalii and leaned back relaxing "It started when i was just a pup. I always knew something was wrong. I was born in a place with a hard floor, there were metal bars all around, the cage was so tiny my Mom couldn't hardly turn around. The human's came once a day to feed us, and a bunch of other dogs. We got so hungry we stared eating our Mom's solid food way sooner then we should have. As soon as the humans saw we could eat, they took us away from our Mom, then a bunch of diffrent humans came to look us over. Riley's human came, with Riley in tow. His human and mine talked quite a bit, then he picked my up by my scruff and carried me home with him. Riley an me hit it off ok, nothing really amazing. When i was barely old enough, they forced me and Riley to have pups. When the human's left us behind, Riley busted me out, and we became paw fast. SOmetimes i think it was just because Riley felt obligated because i am going to have his pups" she ended, smiling sadly.
