Following her mentor slowly, she made sure to keep aware of her surroundings. Following besides him, she nodded at the question he had asked. She wasn't the talker of course, but could talk at some point.Listening closely and carefully, she listened very closely to his instructions and tips. Almost spacing out on his demonstration, she worried what if she can't do it. Shaking her head to when he caught the fish, her eyes glimmered excitingly, the female got right on to looking for a fish in the creek. Crouching down slightly, angling her view into the water, the female got her paw ready, unsheathed of course. Slashing her tail actively, she licked her lips, spotting a medium average fish just perfect for her to catch. Watching carefully, the molly quickly swung a paw in, following all the steps that was required. Although, the skin was quite thick for her small claws to dig in, but she managed. Unfortunately, the molly slipped a paw, dropping it just barely, until she caught, tumbling back slightly. A few heartbeats followed being sighing in relief.

Sighing slightly, he huffed a bit, calming as he pushed it away. Oh well, I suppose she's only trying to cheer me up with my problems. Such a sweet queen. "Hm? Pfft, you're really not that boring, actually not boring at all!" He chuckled. Noticing a small kit, Frostkit he supposed, moved away from their talking presence. "Anyways, seemed like your kits preferred you more, so you're really not boring." He chuckled, smiling at the kit's movement. "I'm not the most delightful. Most likely the overly protective cat here, but I should say, you're really the delightful one to talk to." He grinned, smiling softly. "Overall, I'd love to consider watching your kits in the meantime." He nodded willingly.

Stormpaw
♛ Apprentice ♛ Tom ♛ Crush:: Splashpaw ♛
♛ Mentor:: Hornetfang ♛ Tags:: Splashpaw ♛

--I am going to act as if Hornetfang wasn't in the warrior's den and that he had went on the morning patrol because of Toxic's absence--

For a split second, the stormy grey tom looked after the ginger tabby as she happily replied, with obvious excitement that he agreed to do some battle training. After she had voice her pleasure in the opportunity, they fell into silence and Stormpaw smiled happily at the gorgeous apprentice that sat only a few tail lengths away. Not trying to make her nervous from his admirable stare, he tore his gaze away and looked over his shoulder at the gurgling stream beside him that put a relaxed background noise to the silence that existed between the two cats. His tail began to move away from his paws form where it had been curled securely, and for a moment he enjoyed the silence. It was jarring to have to speak and hold a conversation for a long period of time with Splashpaw, though he was only because he had a fancy for the ginger tabby. The silence was almost his way of allowing himself to relax in her mere presence, not forcing himself more outside of his realm of comfort than he already was when he was trying to keep his composure and not stare at Splashpaw. When she suggested the find Ashstripe instead, Stormpaw looked over to her with a content smile on his face and nodded. 'That sounds good to me. Hornetfang can be a grumpy ol' warrior anyways. It will be nice to have someone more enjoyable to be around. With Hornetfang out on the dawn patrol, he isn't an option till later.. So I sure hope Ashstripe will allow it.' Trying to be more cheerful and relaxed in his voice, he pushed himself not to let his voice quiver as he responded to her, getting up quickly and waving his tail excitedly. Though his mind was running over the possibilities of him hurting Splashpaw during the training, he pushed them to the edge of his attention and simply tried to relax and focus on making her happy. Following after, he moved quietly over the ground in the direction of the nursery where Ashstripe's voice had been registering from, excitement glittering in the early morning light.

A ray of light streamed through the den walls, right onto the eyelid of the lanky black tom as he attempted to sleep in his mossy nest. Moss clung to his back fur while a few feathers were determined to become part of his tail. The white downy feathers were a definite contrast but the moss was dark in the shadows, so it was harder to detect. Clawing at the clouds of sleep that allowed him to dream, yet unsuccessful when the combination of light and his mentor's voice wretched him away from them like a tornado that sucked every cloud into one spot and down the eye of the storm. Squeezing his eye shut, he grunted in protest while his tail lashed, thumping against the ground which caused the white feathers to be sent adrift upon the crisp air. The feathers danced upon the air, each being given a new drift of wind to dance on every time the solid black tom lashed his tail and sent a gust of air through the den. Grunting after a few seconds past and his mentor had exited the den, the slender black tom rolled lazily out of his bed and onto the ground so that his feet were beneath him. Pushing himself into a standing position, Crowpaw swayed back and forth for a few heartbeats while a lion of a yawn climbed its way from his maw. Pressing his eyes shut tightly before squinting into the dim light of dawn, Crowpaw turned his direction of interest toward the entrance and slowly made his way out of the apprentice den and into the crisp morning air of the clearing. There were quite a few cats that were already speaking to one another, a few apprentices attempting to get their mentors to take them out of camp, and the higher ranks had taken their places watching over the camp as the clan began to stir. Trying to open his intense yellow eyes more fully as the light was a great change compared to the den's lighting, Crowpaw searched for his mentors white pelt. Spotting her next to the large ragdoll tom, Blizzardstep, the apprentice moved sluggishly over to his mentor and shook himself upon arrival. Yawning once again, he tried to recall what Lightwing has said to him while he was still half asleep. 'You said something about hunting, right? So.. Uh.... whats the plan, again?' Closing his eyes momentarily to try and rid of the dry feeling that they insisted upon bothering him with, he opened his yellow gaze and looked between the two warriors that sat in front of him. His pelt contrasted greatly against them. His solid black pelt and yellow eyes were the exact opposite of his mentor's pure white pelt and greenish grey eyes. It was an odd match-up, but it was so unique it almost amused the lazy tom.

--Again, due to Toxic's absence, I will make up create an excuse for Adderpaw's absence--

Surprised at her enthusiasm, Blizzardstep watched her get up and head for the apprentice den on her small paws that seemed to carry her effortlessly over the grass. Admiration and affection danced in his eyes as he silently watched her small white frame enter the apprentice den, and return soon after as she came back to join him. Upon arrival, he whipped his dark brown tail along the ground happily before curling it over his paws neatly once again as he pondered why his apprentice hadn't woken up when he tried to wake her early. Having forgotten that he had done some intense battle training the night before and being on the night patrol right after, he was sure his apprentice was exhausted and completely worn out. Frowning at the thought of it, he pulled his ears back sadly and looked at the flawless white she-cat with disappointment. 'Now that I think about it, I am positive that the reason that Adderpaw isn't waking up is because of the amount of work I put her through last night. She and I did some battle training and right after, we were put on the night patrol... I think its only fair that I let the apprentice sleep in a little bit.. sorry to kill the excitement, but I'm afraid I will have to put the competition off for a little bit. I am really sorry... I hope you can forgive me.' His eyes were full of disappointment and his shoulders slumped in a visual confirmation that he truly was feeling terrible for having not thought of this before he suggested it and she had woken her apprentice.

Snaketooth
♛ Warrior ♛ Tom ♛ Crush:: No Love Interest ♛
♛ Apprentice:: Not assigned ♛ Tags:: Viperheart ♛

Mornings were usually fairly active for the determined warrior, for he was often on the dawn patrol due to the fact that he didn't have an apprentice to wake up or train every day. He could leave to go hunting without having to set an agenda for a younger cat while he was away, and he could be alone when he wanted to because he was one of the few that wasn't a mentor. Life was relatively easy, and pretty active for the red-brown tabby tom, which to him was a near perfect life. Though today was one day he hadn't been set on the dawn patrol, so here he lay near the edge of camp while he soaked in the growing sunlight as the sun finally made its way over the hills. It was pleasant but relatively boring, and boring wasn't Snaketooth's fancy as he much preferred to be busy with some sort of task or his paws started to itch and his muscles would twitch in protest. This being said, he never really slept much either, or not for long periods of time anyways. He often would sleep half the night, and have to pace the camp to relieve his muscles enough before he could fall back asleep. Even then, he would be the first to wake and would wait impatiently for Greyclaw to wake and give out the orders for the dawn patrol. He was often on it because he wanted to be or asked to be on it. Ears perking as a voice called for his attention, Snaketooth opened his eyes as they had been closed as he tried to fully appreciate the slight heat that the pale sunlight was providing. Upturning his dark green gaze to the green-eyed shadow that padded up to him, his ear twitched as he finally focused on her words and processed them in order to formulate a response. 'Good morning to you too, Viperheart. The day has been.... dull to say the least. I'm here in camp still, so that should say enough about how my morning has been. You are up early, though I am not surprised. You aren't much of a solid sleeper.' Snorting slightly as he looked toward the camp as small chit-chat went on between other cats in camp, he sighed his envy of the four warriors that were put on the dawn patrol. Turning his gaze back upon the she-cat, he looked tot he ground in front of her and dipped his head politely. Viperheart was one of his favorite cats in the clan, due to her sharp-tongue and determination to keeping the clan safe. Her vigilance was one of his favorite qualities about her, which some of the cats in the camp lacked much of. 'Please, do sit. So, how was the little bit of sleep that you managed to get?'

Oakfall
♛ Warrior ♛ Tom ♛ Crush:: Not currently ♛
♛ Apprentice:: Littlepaw ♛ Tags:: Littlepaw♛

Oakfall watched intensely as she leaned over the edge and eyed the water. He himself watched the water but often looked to her to observe her posture and her movements and assessed them to see where she could improve. Watching as she swung her paw suddenly at the water, he glance to what she was doing with her paw and looked as she barely held onto the thick skin of the fish, and lost it momentarily. Nodding in approval, as the large ginger tom was always positive but stern when it came to improving, Oakfall instantly put his mind to work at thinking of any ways he could strengthen her hold on the fish. 'Okay, first, I want you to move back a little bit. You are a little to close to the edge so that your chest is above the water, which you want to avoid. This will put a lot of your weight over the edge and more toward the water, which will also take from the force you are capable of putting into the strike and follow through.' Gently he helped nudge her front paw to where it wasn't too close to the edge. 'That is where you are going to want your front paws, and you want your chest only slightly ahead of them. With that position, you will be able to use the ground more without worry that you will lose your grip and your front paws will give way and send you falling into the water below. This will also give you more stability and when you hit the fish and begin to pull it out of the water, you will be able to use your other leg to brace yourself and pull your entire body upward along with pulling the paw that is holding the fish, which will thus aid in the overall force you are using to pull the fish out of the water. The water may be smooth and objects might move freely through it, but when you pull something out of it, it will work against you and make it harder to take that object out. This is why the fish feels so heavy when you first try and lift it out of the water.' Putting his nose to her shoulder, he pulled back and grinned in approval. 'You did well but I want you to be one of the best at this! I know you can do it. Let's try again.' Nodding, he motioned back at the water and observed his apprentice once again as he tried to see some of the advice he gave her put to action.

Blinking as she saw how far Frostkit had gotten while she was distracted with speaking with Ashstripe, she frowned with concern that she may get could in the short time that she was away from her body. Starting to get up, having nearly forgotten the other three kits snuggled against her body, Daisyclaw felt the slight movement of protest from Beetlekit and the squeal of distress and discomfort from Cloverkit which caused her to instantly put her large form back into the same spot she was. Picking the each kit up one by one, she moved them back to her side, and attempted to keep them from also crawling out of the nest. 'I hate to ask this of you already, Ashstripe, but would you grab Frostkit for me? She isn't exactly the most polite.' Giving a light laugh as she looked down at Beetlekit as he stood up and looked around slowly to where he could see Ashstripe. It was so strange to see her kits able to stand up and wobble with their eyes wide open. In just another week, the kits would be able to walk and would be tumbling around the den like little tornados. In fact, it would be only a few days before that began. They were growing so fast and each was a moon old already. 'In response to what you said, I am certainly happy that you don't think I am a bore! My kits put up with me because as of right now I am their source of food and warmth. By next week, they will be eating freshkill, and leaving me at every moment they get. Then in a few moons, I will hardly keep them in the camp, so hopefully I will be interesting enough to keep them intrigued for at least half of a moon. On another note, I would be happy to have you helping watch over the kits. They will be quite the pawful when they are able to run around and are able to speak their minds. Well.. make sense when they speak their minds anyways. By the looks of it, Frostkit already knows how to speak her mind.' Laughing once again, she licked the three kits whom were at her side and observed the three as they each took their own interests in something different. Beetlekit silently watched Ashstripe with his little yellow eyes, but suddenly started to mew loudly at Ashstripe in protest to not being able to smell nor see him very well from where the side of the nest started to obscure his view. Cloverkit was making her way over Owlkit, pawing her brother in the face as she used it to propel herself forward and toward her mother's front legs.

Having woken relatively early that morning to be sure that she wasn't to be on the dawn patrol with her apprentice, Cedarshade had already taken to cleaning her fur and went through the freshkill pile to rid of any of the decaying freshkill. Seeing that there was only a few old pieces of freshkill that were still good to eat, Cedarshade shuffled the pile to put the fresh on the bottom and the older on the top so that it would get eaten before it went bad. Being that all elders had been killed during the Great War and the fire that ended it, no elders existed in Brambleclan which meant that only queens had to be fed first. Spotting Firepaw, Cedarshade smiled and waved a tail happily as she knew that her apprentice was more than likely looking for her. 'Firepaw! Why don't we go do some training today? How about you choose what type of training we do today, while I take a piece of freshkill to Daisyclaw?" Without waiting for a response, the lightly colored calico picked up a plump shrew and headed to the nursery. Peaking her head in, she smiled to the queen and her kits and moved closer to lay down the shrew in front of the she-cat. Smiling again and dipping her head to the queen, she spoke a greeting. 'Good morning Daisyclaw! Here is a shrew to keep your health up with the kits. Hope you slept well. I would stay a little longer, but I must get my eager apprentice going for some training." With that, she waved her tail in farewell and headed out of the nursery to find Firepaw once again. Spotting her apprentice, she padded silently over and gave a polite smile to the fire-colored molly. 'Alright, What would you like to train on today, Firepaw? She asked with a curious glimmer in her eyes as she awaited her apprentices reply.

The sound of heavy paws moving around startled the black she-cat out of her light slumber, lifting her head to search for the source of the sound. Seeing the heavy pawed, ginger tom leave the warriors' den, Rolling her eyes as Oakfall left the den, Hollyfrost lapped at her shoulder fur before getting into a sitting position and cleaning her paws and chest fur. Having to clean her fur was relatively easy because of her short fur, but because of how thick it was, it tended to get a lot of dirt stuck in it. Persisting on looking nice, Hollyfrost cleaned her back fur and belly fur swiftly from the warmth of the warriors' den before getting to her paws and giving a long stretch. Quietly, the black she-cat pushed her way out of the warriors' den and looked around camp noting that Greyclaw was awake which meant that the dawn patrol more than likely had left already. Scanning the clearing, Hollyfrost spotted Cedarshade and her apprentice, Whitestar silently observing camp from his perch on a rock, Swiftpaw near the edge of camp in a pool of sunlight, and Oakfall near the center of camp. Grumbling her distaste for being woken because of the brute, the morning-hateful she-cat headed away from the den and toward the center of camp. Yawning on her way to the freshkill pile, she noted that Cedarshade had been leaving the nursery when she had exited the warriors' den, so that meant that the queen had been fed this morning. With a nod to herself, Hollyfrost headed for the freshkill pile and picked out an older sparrow from the top and took it to the shade of to the side of camp. Crouching down, the thick black furred she-cat sank her teeth into the feathery bird and took a large bite and chewed it slowly. Not wanting to be disturbed as she knew how hostile she was in the mornings, she kept her ears back and laid on her side to hopefully ward off anyone who didn't want to get snipped at.

Pinepaw

At the mere mention of Willowpaw, whom he founded to be one of his best friends out of his denmates, Pinepaw lifted his head immediately and looked over his shoulder to where Willowpaw's nest. Blinking the sleep from his eyes, his tail quivered with excitement for the new day and new training that he might participate in today. Hearing the last bit of Hollyfrost's words as he headed out of the den, the lanky spotted tom stretched out in his nest and curled his claws as he yawned. Not wanting to miss out, he rolled out of his nest and glanced over at Stormpaw as he prodded at Splashpaw, causing a grin to spread across Pinepaw's muzzle. Waving his tail in amusement, the lanky tom moved quickly out of the den and headed straight for the warrior den and quickly made his way inside. Thoughts of practicing on climbing trees, or working on bird hunting, or battle training against his mentor or another apprentice, or even tracking and catching a rabbit would be exciting! Pinepaw's tail quivered, and his pine green eyes shone with the excitement as he searched for his mentor's pelt. His grey-brown fur shone in the pale lighting that made its way into the warriors' den, the dark spots that flecked his fur standing out against the rest of his fur while his lighter underbelly hid in his own shadow. Seeing that his mentor was absent, which meant that she was on the dawn patrol, the tom's heart sank and his body slumped as he backed out of the warriors' den with disappointment in his eyes. Looking around camp, he decided to eat later due to the size of the freshkill pile and went to lay next to the stream on the far side. Crossing the stream to lay down between the camp wall and the stream, the spotted brown tom watched the camp entrance with his head on his paws, patiently waiting for his mentor's return.

Ravenwing

Warrior/She-cat/ Crush: Antleg/Tags: Leopardclaw and Antleg

Ravenwing heard the rumble of her belly. She looked to the fresh kill pile if there was any prey she'd like. Ravenwing was wanting for a thrush, so she decided to hunt for it. Ravenwing looked around for a cat to hunt with her. She then spotted Leopardclaw. Her paws lead her to his side. "Hello!" Leopardclaw meowed happily to Ravenwing. "Hi, are you interested in hunting with me?" Ravenwing questioned. "Of course!'' Leopardclaw lead the way to the clan entrence. Ravenwing somehow itching for the thrush she padded faster. "Slow down there!" Leopardclaw meowed with a half chuckle. "Sorry, I didn't notice that I was that hungry." Ravenwing padded slower. As they left the camp Ravenwing started to pad faster. Leopardclaw didn't mind and so he decided to pick up the pace. Ravenwing signaled with her tail for Leopardclaw to stop. Ravenwing got into a hunting crouch. She then stalked the thrush using the skills she had learned when she was an apprentice. She then pounced on the thrush, feathers flying everywhere. With the help of her claws she cracked its necked. Ravenwing picked it up with her jaws and looked back to find Leopardclaw gone. She then looked around. Then she found Leopardclaw holding a mouse in his mouth. She then lead him back to the clan with their prey.

Back in the clan Ravenwing found a spot to eat her prey. Leopardclaw eating next to her. After finishing her prey she licked her lips clean. She watched as Leopardclaw pad slowly to the warriors den. Ravenwing hesitantly walked up to Antleg. "Hello Antleg." Ravenwing greeted.

Antleg

Having been eating a small trout, only two inches in length, Antleg had his mouth full upon Ravenwing's arrival. Hesitating as he chewed his mouthful of flaky fish meat, the sleek black tom looked over to the black she-cat that was walking up to him with a curious look on his face. It wasn't exactly often that other cats came up and spoke to him out of the blue just to merely talk to him. He was usually only spoken to when someone wanted him to hunt or go on a patrol, as he wasn't exactly a big talker. Though this wasn't exactly the first time someone walked up while he was in the middle of eating, as it actually was often that he was eating, though he supplied a lot of the freshkill as he spent a lot of time out hunting to make up for what he ate. Swallowing the mouthful of food, the black tom winced as the large mound of food slid slowly down his throat, giving him a little pain till it finally moved more easily after he swallowed one more time. Licking his muzzle to clear any slivers of fish that lingered on his lips, he finally perked his ears and decided to speak back to the she-cat. 'Good morning, Ravenwing. I saw you already went hunting this morning. I'm shocked. You must have left before the sun even came up because the sun is hardly halfway past the horizon. Not even the sun is fully awake yet.' Laughing only slightly, he dipped his head in greeting and let his tail pat the ground near him. 'What brought you over? Is there something you needed?' As it wasn't often that someone just walked up and spoke to him, he assumed she needed him to do something, though it wasn't often that it was Ravenwing whom asked him. She was a hard worker, but she didn't often ask for his aid unless it persisted to a patrol, which only made him more curious as to why she had come to speak to him.

Ravenwing was surprised of how much he swallowed. She could tell that the prey he had swallowed wasn't an easy flow because of the face he had. Ravenwing suddenly jerked out of what she was thinking and answered his question. "I usually like to hunt at sundown or when it's dark because its an easier catch. Anyways I was wondering if you would like to talk or if you needed help or something." Ravenwing sat down waiting for his reply. She then looked up at his steady eyes and flickered her ears (Ravenwing can be impatient sometimes).

      Lightwing

She cat;; Warrior;; With Blizzardstep and Crowpaw;;

        Lightwing had just reached Blizzardstep once more when her apprentice came up yawning next to her. She turned to reply to his question as to what they'd be doing today, but was cut short when Blizzardstep informed her that the competition would have to wait. Her ears drooped slightly at that, but she quickly regained her composure. She turned to face the white tom, Okay, well, how about a small hunting patrol? Lightwing flicked her tail as she spoke. A simple hunt would probably be more beneficial to the clan. She faced her apprentice again, Does that sound good? At least then she could just focus on teaching and hunting rather than winning. Although, winning would have been nice. She glanced at the ragdoll tom sitting next to her, then grinned, As long as we still get to have that competition at some point. Hunting. Her one passion. When she was an apprentice and all of her peers were showing off new battle moves or sneaking out at night to climb trees, she was out practicing elaborate jumps and pounces. She lived for the thrill of coming down on a bird just as it was flying away; because, for an instant as the wings flapped, she felt like she herself might have been flying. If only.
        She brought herself back to reality, and away from daydreams of flying high above the treetops; back to Crowpaw and Blizzardstep, back to an almost hunt.

      Splashpaw

She cat;; Apprentice;; With Ashstripe and Stormpaw;;

        Splashpaw smiled at her friend's reply as they walked around camp. I saw Ashstripe head into the nursery this morning, as good a place as any to look first. She took the lead as they headed that direction. When they reached the den, she nearly stepped on a fluffy white ball near the entrance; Frostkit. Oh, oops! She said, sidestepping quickly to avoid crushing the small cat. Daisyclaw, have you seen- her eyes adjusted to the light fairly quickly once she moved closer to the queen and farther from the little white kit. -Ashstripe! Good morning! We were looking for you, we, me and Stormpaw, were wondering if you would take us battle training today! Can we? Please? Splashpaw put on her best smile, to try and persuade her mentor to leave his current conversation. Daisyclaw was situated on her side, with three of her four snuggled next to her belly. The lone Frostkit continued to wail. She wondered how any cat could put up with this whining and needing and pushing and shoving for six whole moons before the kits were apprentices; if it were her, she'd have chucked them out of the den and stuffed the entrance shut after one night! She focused on Ashstripe as she pleaded, Please? I wanna show Stormpaw the new moves I've learned!

Giving a grin at the opportunity to spend more time with Lightwing, Blizzardstep push himself onto his relatively large white paws, standing a little bit taller than the two before him. Sort of baffled that she still wanted him to come along, a look of sheer happiness was plastered on his face, his tail waving back and forth as he couldn't control how happy he was from showing. Perking his ears as she turned her head to speak to Crowpaw and make sure that is alright, he looked toward the entrance as he grew more and more eager to go out and hunt. 'I think a competition is still a must, as we will never know who is the better mentor, or better pair until then.' Smiling once again, he wagged his tail back and forth before he padded off toward the entrance to wait for the mentor and apprentice pair. It wasn't often that he got an opportunity to hunt in a small hunting patrol with Lightwing. It would be quite a different experience, so he was interested in what would occur and how she went about teaching Crowpaw. Blizzardstep had noticed how lazy the slender black tom could be, so she was curious as to how she motivated him.

A little confused when Blizzardstep started to talk about how the competition would have to wait and that Adderpaw was probably needed her sleep, Crowpaw looked back and forth between the two warriors trying to decipher what they had discussed while he was sleep. Finally registering that Blizzardstep was letting Adderpaw sleep while Lightwing made him go out hunting, he grunted and lashed his tail as he would have much rather preferred to sleep. Perking his ears when Lightwing spoke to him, Crowpaw quieted his tail and listened though had a rough time staying focused. "Uh... Yeah, sure? I guess. Maybe we can see if I know something that Adderpaw doesn't know." Shrugging, the slender black tom looked to his mentor for a moment till Blizzardstep caught his attention, watching the fluffy ragdoll tom pad to the entrance and stop to wait for them. Letting a lion of a yawn wrench itself through his body again, the lanky tom shook himself and started toward the entrance with a lazy drag to his paws. Glancing back, he looked at Lightwing before meeting up with Blizzardstep and allowing the two warriors to exit the camp before himself. This was going to be one interesting training session if he was going to have to work his skills extra so that Lightwing could show off his skills to Blizzardstep and put his skills to work later in a competition. It all sounded like a lot of work, but maybe it would be beneficial. He wasn't exactly the most motivated apprentice, but that didn't mean that he wasn't good when he finally got rolling. It was just getting him rolling that was the harder part. Trying to get himself motivated silently, he lashed his tail and shook his pelt while flexing his claws to help wake up his body. It wasn't going to be easy when he felt like he was being judged twice as much, so that meant he needed to focus twice as much. He better get a long nap in the sun later today before sundown, which made him all the more excited to get this over and done with.

Blinking in slight surprise when she replied that she came to just talk, which he least expected, the tom shrugged without saying much for a moment and nodded. 'Yeah, we can talk. Is there anything you wanted to talk about, in particular?" He sat up, and dipped his head to be polite as she sat down next to him but as he did so, he noticed how ruffled his side fur was from where he was laying on it. Grunting, he lapped quickly at his fur to clean it up, and sat up more straight so he didn't look lazy like his younger brother, Crowpaw, often did. Tail waving back and forth, the slender black tom turned his blue-gray eyes on the black she-cat with curiosity flecking his black irises. He wasn't much of a talker, so he wasn't sure how the conversation would go, but he would sure make an effort, being that he wasn't nearly as awkward about making small talk as some other cats in the camp were. Though he didn't talk much, he didn't necessarily not get along with anyone either. He just merely observed more often than participated as it made it easier for him to know what was going on while others did the 'going on' part. Keeping an eye on things and being vigilant was his forte, which meant he faltered in getting lots of things done quickly because he focused on one thing a little more than necessary. Realizing he lost his train of thought, he perked his ears for the she-cat response, honestly curious of what she wanted to talk about.

indentDipping her head graciously, Viperheart settled down near the other warrior, consciously giving him enough space so as not to make him feel crowded. Chuckling lowly, the she-cat listed to his words with a twitching ear, unsurprised by his unhappiness being stuck in camp. His desire to be on dawn patrol was strong, and he was never happy being in camp when they left. "I'm sorry Greyclaw didn't put you on dawn patrol," the she-cat meowed, closing her eyes as she felt the rays of warmth on her back. "I know how much you enjoy being on it. You're a dedicated warrior. The clan is lucky to have you." She took a deep breath, already feeling tired from her lack of decent sleep, struggling to keep herself from yawning once more. With Snaketooth's comment on her sleep, Viperheart could only laugh, nodding her head in response. "I slept fairly well, for me at least. With about two hours of sleep, I'm ready to start the day," she claimed before slipping into a small yawn. Shaking her head angrily, as if upset she had allowed herself to yawn, her face wrinkled up with self-disgust. "I am ready to fight whatever chooses to fight us today. It's my duty."

Ravenwing

Warrior/She-cat/Crush:Antleg/Tags:Antleg

Ravenwing forgot what she was about to say because of how long she admired his sleek black pelt and his glaring blue-gray eyes. Ravenwing blinked noticing that he was just sitting and waiting for her reply. Ravenwing flicked her tail "Um, Crowpaw...How is he doing?" Ravenwing was hot with embarrassment remembering she had kept him waiting for her answer. Ravenwing shook her pelt to get the feeling out. Yet Antleg was her crush she still built enough courage to talk to him. Ravenwing was about to ask him if they could be a thing, but she thought that would be to far. Ravenwing then decided to be patient this time. She then licked her paw feeling flecks of dust on but she ignored. Stroking her paw to her head. She then placed her paw back down and swinged her tail behind her.

            sparrowtail
            Sparrowtail lay in her nest, curled up in a ball, her breath coming out as tiny clouds of mist. A breeze rustled around the warriors' den, drifting through the leaves toward her, the morning bringing with it a chilliness that made her curl up tighter, digging her nose under a paw and wrapping her tail around herself. She lay like that for a little while longer before another breeze ruffled her whiskers, forcing her to open her eyes. Sitting up, she gave her coat a brisk shake, flicking off any bits of moss, and began to groom herself, flattening the several patches of fur that had rubbed the wrong way from her sleeping. Once she was happy with her fur, she stood up and stretched out, letting out a quiet groan as her tight muscles relaxed. Padding out of the den, the she-cat went straight for the fresh kill pile, grabbing herself a medium sized thrush and settling down a few tail-lengths away, where she began to pluck feathers from the bird.
