After the humans were killed off many animal species had to
re-learn how to be independent and go back to there wild nature. Dogs were
one of these many animal species. But unlike most of the other species the
dogs could not come to a agreement and form one big pack. They started with
many small packs but in the end they agreed upon two main packs. The "Pure"
Pack and the "Mutt" Pack.

The Mutts, or the outcasts of the two, are very open and kind. They believe in
equality and that you shouldn't be juged on what you are. They thought that
because of this they could all easily become one whole pack like the other species'
did. Unfortunately the Pures had other plans.

The Pures are the more cruel of the two packs. They believe that if you are not
"pure-blooded" you are low-ranking and are unintelligent, and therefore useless
to the world. With this image in mind, they plan on killing off all the Mutts, and
they only will accept pure-breds as "true" dogs. In their mind, the Mutts are not
even considered dogs.

Over the years the Pure Pack has become dangerous and cold hearted and now,
it has become cruel. They have begun stealing young pups from other pack and
have been using them as slaves to do work for the pack in exchange for their
lives.Any mutt dog who tries to rescue them is undoubtedly going to die. But,
some dogs in the Pure Pack don't agree with the others. Some even have
relationships over the border. Will one pack finally over throw the other?
Or will they finally unite into one strong force? Jump on in and find out!

Rules:

* Follow all CS rules, so "fade to black" when necessary.

* No more than two dogs of a single breed can be created,
not everyone can be a husky or Labrador, you know!
Different breeds allow for a more interesting role play.

* Post your dogs' profiles here! Please try to keep genders
even, and make sure to post what pack you are in! The
more pretty and creative the profile, the better!

* Eight sentences per character minimum. Pretty posts
are best!

* Pure-Breed dogs can join the Mutt Pack and won't be killed,
however if a mutt tries to join the Pure Pack they will definitely
be killed or kept prisoner.

* Ranks within the Packs can be fought over. But remember a
Pack that is fighting within itself is vulnerable to outside attacks.

* The Packs are forbidden to cross into one another's territory
unless in a large battle-ready group. (This rule can be broken
for more drama, but remember that if they are discovered, it
could lead to death)

* The Packs cannot have relationships with others outside of their
own pack. (This rule can also be broken for more drama)

* All pups in each of the Packs will not become apprentices until
they are at least six months old. At which time the Alpha will take
them to their den and decide what rank they will be given, and
who will train them as their mentor.

* Make LOTS and LOTS of drama! But don't fight outside of the
roleplay!

Thalia was born in the Pure Pack. Her parents had tried to hide her, knowing that she was a mix breed, but the Alpha soon found her and abandoned her far away from the camp in heavy snowfall. She was doomed to die, but her adopted mother found Thalia and cared for her until the adopted mother's death in a recent battle between the packs. Thalia was split from her brother Keith (who is said to have been killed) after the Pure Pack Alpha discovered that she was a mix breed. She had no memory of him except in nightmares about her past, which she often pushes away as just her brain messing with her.

Personality: Freedom is kind and peaceful, never wanting to kill, even for food. She's fearless in the face of danger, not afraid to risk her own life, but she is deathly afraid to risk another's.
History: Freedom was born in the Pure Pack, but when the Alphas realized that she was mix-breed, her parents were killed in front of her and she barely made it out alive. She went to the Mutt Pack, hearing tales of a safe haven for dogs of all breeds, so she went to the pack. At one year old, she was made a Pup Sitter, her constant refusal to kill another creature not allowing her to become a hunter or a guard. She loves the time she spends with all the new puppies, becoming something of a mother to the Mutt Pack. She's supported by most of the pack, as they all respect her and look up to her. When she turned 2, she was offered the Beta Female position, but she politely declined, saying that she was happy where she was.

Destry is a lean, medium sized dog. This 3 year old brute has short red fur with white patches on his lower body and muzzle. His eyes are a bright amber, and as standard for his breed, shine in iridescent teal in bright flashes of light. As for his breed, he's a New Guinea Singing Doy. Now you might ask, how is such a rare breed a stray? And that will be answer later on. Destry can act fairly different around just about everyone. One thing to keep in mind is that he doesn't get off well with humans, strangers, or aggressive male dogs. While on duty or around dogs he doesn't like he can be aloof and somewhat aggressive. Around those he's close to he can be rather gentle and affectionate though. Outside of the signature howl or "singing" that's typical for his breed he otherwise isn't very vocal. He often uses his howl to scare off easily frightened predators. He's very agile in a cat like way, and also fairly strong. This brute is quite intelligent and a good problem solver, with his main fault being that he doesn't like taking orders. Of course for the sake of the pack he'll bare with it though. Now back to his breed. Destry is as mentioned, a very rare breed. To know why he's in the pack requires going back to his past. As a pup, Destry was born into the care of a breeder. He was one of 3 pups, and the only male. Life had been great until he was finally sold off. There was a small petting zoo of sorts, showcasing rare animals. People could pet the exotic creatures, take pictures, and do whatever else. Destry was put to work as a sort of watch dog. Of course this wasn't a good job for him, seeing as his breed is notorious for not getting along with children or other animals. When his owners noticed this Destry was soon abused, once that proved useless he was locked away and neglected. At some point the family brought the dog to a shelter. He was soon adopted by a family. The family quickly realized their mistake, as Destry wasn't suited for the life of the family's lapdog. They kicked him out of the house, taking him on a car ride and dropping him off somewhere far away. Destry waited for a day or so before understanding that his family wouldn't be back. Upset but not entirely defeated he vetured out and found his pack. He was reluctant to join but eventually settled on staying with them. Around the time he met them he was still very young. Most of the pack knows that he was abandoned by his past owners, but not much else. Not that anyone he's really asked though. Despite his hardships Destry is still a mostly happy and friendly dog.

Fey is a young boykin spaniel. She has medium lengh, semi-curly light chocolate fur. Her eyes are a pale gold with some prominent darker specs. She's a smaller to medium sized dog with an agile body fit for hunting. Fey can hunt just about all game and in most conditions. She find is a difficulty in water or in the cold, but she enjoys water otherwise. She's not very strong, but she can handle most predators around her size. Fey is a fairly optimistic and slightly naive dog. She's typically friendly and kind, but she can be vicious if need be. She's good with pups and would at sometime like her own. Of she was to find a mate it would probably be better if they were somewhat the opposite of her, just to balance eachother out. While she's rather maternal she'd never like to be a pup sitter. She likes spending time with the pups but her true call is hunting. Fey considers herself a friend or at least acquaintance to all in her pack, even if not all feel the same way. She's adventurous and inquisitive, but still cautious. While a purebred in the pack of mutts isn't unheard of, there is an explaination for it. Her mother had been a hunter for the purebred. Her father, a hunting do for a family on the outskirts of the forest. Despite it being forbidden, they soon feel in love after meeting at a patrol if the borders. They started meeting every few nights, then after every night. Soon fey became pregnant. She knew that she would have to leave the pack soon, they couldn't find out. It was a few months before she started showing signs of being pregnant, she did her best to hide it from the others. Her and her mate planned to eventually run off together, each from their own respective families. Once others became suspicions of Fey's mother, she fled. Fey soon after had her pups but knew she couldn't keep them. She had 3 puppies, two females and one male. Only one survived, Fey. Her mother couldn't get attached, she got rid of the lone pup before it could protest. She brought he pup close to the mutts camp, where she knew they would find her. Despite being loyal to the purebred she knew that her pup would be better off and accepted by the mutts. After leaving Fey, she disappeared.
