A Novelty is a Power, that takes form of on the pelt in a symbol. The wolf who possesses a novelty symbol gains power from the symbol. The symbol will represent something. Example; Lightningbolt:Electricity Flame:Fire SnowFlake:Ice. Novelties are usually placed anywhere on the body of its possessor. Most common places are; the shoulder, lower back. forehead, paw, and chest. But they can be placed anywhere appropriate other than the eyes and inner mouth. They all come in different shapes and sizes, most are unique. Only Seekers have the ability to give novelties. This is becuse they have the strongest connection with the Northern lights. Novelties are given to trainees when its time they become a wolf of the pack at the Novelty giving ceremony. If a wolf leaves the pack, meaning to leave forever, there novelty is stripped from them. The pack is the only magic in the forest. nothing else. All novelties have strengths and weaknesses. But in times of need, they will become strong, but only of you are defending the pack in anyway. The stronger the bond with the pack and the more loyal you are, The more powerful the Novelty will become. Alphas, And healers get an extra novelty. Healers get an extra novelty than have healing properties. The alphas get an extra novelty, and will always be in the shape of a wolf paw. This Novelty gives them power mentaly about the pack.

Alphas are the leaders Of the pack, The alphas are usually the ones who are the most powerfull, not in one subject. yes, you may see other wolves that have extra strength, but alphas can still beat them. Alphas usually have the most strenght by being the most balanced. usually having all of there stats at the same points. Alphas don't usually like to be treated like the most powerful in the pack, but they do need respect. Just don't disobey orders and treat them how you would treat yourself and you should be good. Betas are next in line wolves. There like the generals of the pack, while the alpha might be to busy with things betas will take charge and keep everything in order. But must ask alphas permission before doing anything to serious. Next are the Seekers. Seekers are like the elders of a pack, but much more. Seekers have a much deeper connection to the moon, and Give wolves their novelties. they also take the time to teach the next generation of wolves the legends of the packs past. The Seekers are to be treated with as much respect to the alphas. And Alphas will usually go to them for advice. Alpha usually becomes a seeker after they retire. next are the Healers, they help heal the pack in both ways. they play an important part in the pack and are also one of the most trusted wolves. Next are just the regular wolves, they hunt and patrol the territory in the pack. Neuters are like the mothers of the pack. they take care of all of the pups of the pack together and sometimes even keep wolves in check. Tranies are well, training! they don't get there novelty until there training is complete. usually Seekers will watch the trainees when its close to their time for there ceremony, to get there novelty, so they can decide what one they will get. then there's pups, Pretty self explanatory. there not allowed out of camp though, not by themselves anyway, as long as they are accompanied by a nurture they are allowed out of camp. Pups become trainees around there adolescent ages.
✦Ceremonies, Celebrations, Crowning✦
All Ceremonies take place on a full moon unless its a death ceremony. the ceremonies are: Novelty Ceremony, Alpha Crowning Beta Crowning, Healer Crowning, death ceremony, and lastly the Leaving ceremony. The novelty ceremony is the ceremony for trainees to get there novelty. An alpha crowning is the day the alpha receives there Alpha mark, same for the healer Crowing, And beta Crowning. the Death Ceremony is when one of the wolves in the pack die. we hold this during the night, howling to the moon and staying up as long as possible for there rememberance. in the morning we bury them in the memorial garden. and the leaving Ceremony is when a wolf leaves the pack for good. everyone says there goodbyes and the alpha dismisses them, and they lose there novelty forever.
✦Northern Lights.✦
The Northern Lights are where the ancestors of the pack go once they have died. there spirit remains in the northern lights as long as they had a death ceremony. Occasionally, in your dreams you can visit the northern lights path if a passed away wolf needs to speak with you. sometimes the northern lights will pass over the skies and spirits will come down and visit. The appearance of the wolves will keep there shape, but will have a hue of the colors that remain in the northern lights themselves.
