ana certainly isn't anything special. she just likes to be left alone to her own devices. she has no interest in any sort of drama. as long as she can get her peace and quiet, ana will be happy. there is only one exception to this rule she lives by, and, and that is when she is with her own foals. she just loves to make their lives as joyful for as long as she possibly can. her own mother was for more distant than she needed to be, making ana feel uncomfortable in large groups. it's odd, considering there is safety in numbers, but that's just the way she is. she doesn't want that to any of her foals. she'll play with them for as long as they want just about. it makes her extremely happy to see them smile, or just about anyone as a matter of fact. despite being a bit of an introvert, ana loves to try and make others smile. she's found smiles can make even the darkest of times just a little bit brighter. it's a bit hard to become close friends with ana, but you know you can always count on her once you are.

to the hills, or more fondly know as laurel, is a little spitfire. she's a feisty one, often getting into trouble with the higher ups. she doesn't mean to cause trouble, honest, it just kind of happens. she's been like this ever since she was a filly, often playing to rough for even the colts, for a while. she monitors her behavior much more often now, seeing as she fully grown, but mistakes happen. laurel will try her hardest to clean up the messes she makes, knowing that it's her fault. no one should clean up after her. laurel was very defiant as a filly, and she's finally starting to grow out of that nasty habit. she's much more submissive now, taking orders quietly. that doesn't mean she's happy about. no, not in the slightest, but she's learned to keep her mouth shut. it's the real reason why she was such a trouble maker. despite all of her kinks, laurel is a really sweet and gentle soul. she'll help just about anything in need, no matter what it is. someone should really keep an eye on her.

candy certainly lives up to her name. she is such a sweetheart, which some tend to take advantage of. she is easily manipulated because of her desire to please. candy often puts the interests of others before her own well being. it's unhealthy, but she hates the idea of upsetting someone, no matter the reason. she was born in the spring, making her the youngest in her herd's batch of foals. the older foals often made her jump through hoops to join them, and candy gladly went along with it. as long as candy felt accepted, she was happy. she still has some maturing to do, seeing as she's a bit naive. but her heart's in the right place. all she needs is someone to push her in the right direction for once. candy is also very submissive, mainly because she hates to be the one who has to make all of the important decisions. it's just not her thing. she'd much rather have someone else to the decisions making for her.

Maleficent is a charming mare, with a calm nature, though her loyalty lies with the stallion whom 'own's her... per say, she makes each and every stud around know who is boss. for the first few years, maleficent, was removed from herds by lead mares thanks to her personality and temperament. This fiery dominant mare got on to many nerves, constantly challenging the lead despite the age difference. Her name matches her lovley, Demon queen, she's a bit of a demon, and loves to be queen. And thanks to her new age, she shall be queen. Maleficent is a grumpy bossy mare, whom is easily agitated and annoyed, it doesn't take long before she's frustrated with new mares who can't back off, or who can't shut up. the best time to ask her something is... well never. If she doesn't like your proposal, she won't allow it and will get rid of it. The only time Maleficent is best to be talked to, is when she's in a calm mood, which is not often, or when she has a few week old foal.Yep, in the first few weeks of baring a foal, all the previous non existant feelings and care comes out and she's a different mare. however, after those first sixs weeks are over, anything you got away with in that time... you'll regret you even tried.

Easy ways to not annoy her, are simply, to follow her, don't go against her, don't challenge her, and more simply, just don't be a young bratty mare. That's who she is, how she is, and despite this nature, she's a very reasonable lead mare.

daenerys is a friendly loving and affectionate little mare, she is amazingly sweet and loyal and loves to make you laugh. She is however most likley wiser than yourself, she is fifteen years of age escaping captivity at the age of 1 therefore basically making her a wild horse all her life. daenerys is a friendly but dominant mare whom won't back down, not even to stallions unless she knows she can't bea them (same age or older than herself). She is one of those mares who must be snaked, she'll flirt and charm her way under your skin but when you think she's yours and you try to claim her, bye bye little boy, she's off. Good luck catching this girl unless your a thoroughbred.
As much as she seems loving and kind she has times where she can be mean, she'll make sure you know who's boss and she won't let you disrespect her or anyone in the herd. Take that in mind before you get on her bad side.

though his looks make him scary along with his height and his lack of emotion, this big brute is actually a loving stallion who means nothing but to protect his herd. under his large muscular body is a heart and soul and with that he deeply cares for his mares and foals but to show them would lead to weakness. though occasionally sharing affection with one or two mares whom have been with him for a long time, it is rare to see him give any sort of affection to anybody. through his muscular body and scary looks, he's a sweet heart with alot of potential, though his colts, and fillies may turn out like him, he's fully aware even if his mares aren't, that they will still have the emotions they'd like to share but won't.

outcast really is a darling, he's very loyal and kind, and friendly {and omg i love him} and often this becomes a disadvantage. Having been birthed in captivity and born to race and trialed, his brain was partly fried from the beginning, however during a ranch storm he escaped with another young thoroughbred. after two weeks in the wild with no clue how to fend for himself, a much older thoroughbred mix stallion took him under his wing, showing outcast how to look for food during the winter snow, how to escape from stallions and predators, and how to snatch mares, or at the least, cover mares from other herds and run, though now being quite good at it, he is still very immature, and probably won't mentally mature till about 5 or 6. outcast however is very protective of what he knows is his and doesn't like the idea of anyone taking it without asking. though babyish, he can be very protective and a little dominant, however, due to his mental state, he submits quicker than most, his height giving him an intimidation advantage to males who aren't sure of his age.

It was the beginning of Spring. The snow from winter was slowly melting away under the sun's heat. Record felt the hot beams on her back as she opened her eyes, and snorted quietly. She was laying on her side in the direct sunlight. It was the morning of the third day, and she had already been acknowledged into a herd. With a huff, the sorrel paint mare pushed herself up to her feet, shaking out her body. Her slender head lowered, searching between the gaps of snow for a few sprigs of fresh grass. She located them, and moving the dead grass and snow about with her lips, she plucked it up with her teeth, and then walked around, searching for more.

The Cremello mare had been up for a while now. Trotting throughout the open field she shared with her herd, her head was lowered as she searched the ground. Any signs of live grass would be plentiful for her. She had been getting sick of stripping off bark from trees, though she munched on it all winter. Bouncing slightly, she slammed on the breaks and lurched to a stop. Luna found a large patch of fresh grass, no melting snow around it at all. Grinning, and her ears perking, she walked towards it, finding the perfect spot. After a few heartbeats, the mare's knees buckled underneath her and she landed on the fresh patch. Then, she rolled, her slender and long legs flinging into the air.

Jupiter found herself nosing around simple small piles of snow, and grabbing them with her teeth. She was in a weird mood, since she just hit the top stage of her heat. As the frozen substance hit her teeth, a squeal escaped from her soft velvety muzzle and she pawed at the snow, jumping up and down. It took her a moment to realize her foolish acts of being young, but she shrugged it off. Her herd knew how she was, playful and always wanting something fun to do. Feeling sudden heat rush into her legs, she shot forwards, whinnying loudly and kicking out behind her and rearing.

Roulette had her head up, ears perked, and she was standing at full attention underneath a willow tree she was stripping bark from. The winter section they were currently in was going bare with bark, most of the horses had been munching on the bark, since there wasn't much grass throughout the winter. Snorting and poking her head out between the strands of the willow tree, she whinnied loudly towards her stallion. They needed to get moving soon to the other territory they had before it got taken. Stomping her back hoof at a fly, the fiery chestnut mare reached over and nipped at her flank.

The onyx colored mare stood in a pond, her head lowered to the water, her velvety lips touching the surface. The water was clear and cold as it slid down her dry throat. Exhaling through her nostrils, she lifted her head up as birds flew over her head, singing their morning music and whisking between the trees to find their mates for the season. Shaking her head out and licking her lips to catch the droplets of water outside her mouth, she knew what was needed to get her black body cooled off. Siren pawed at the water, the splashing hitting her chest and making her fur even a darker onyx. Relaxing, she let her legs collapse underneath her and laid in the water. It was shallow enough that it reached her shoulders, her neck and head out of reach from the cool liquid.

North walked throughout his mares, nickering to each gently and moving towards them, nudging them to awaken for the morning and current day. He knew his girls were going into heat, and he was going to have to get rid of the problem before the scent attracted bachelors. He was at an average age, but yet he was wise with a slight hint of a colt inside his body. He found his lead mare, Queen, and nosed her, grabbing a hold of her mane and grooming a messy section, before nudging her and trotting away to check his borders again for a safe crossing into their spring and summer territory.
