Freyja can either be your friend or your nightmare. This mare is very dominate but she knows her place. Freyja was born into a rather large herd, eighteen mares to be precise. She was well socialized and learned the dynamics of the herd within her first year. As she grew older, she grew smarter. This mare is very vigilante and doesn't tolerate trouble. She is not a trouble maker and she is more than likely to run you off if you cause any problems for her or those within her herd. This mare is very protective of her foals. This dappled twelve year old enjoys relaxing and just calm behavior. She has patience towards the younger mares and foals but she is not very playful, motherly yes, playful no. Freyja is known to get feisty at times but unless her temper is spiked, she is a pretty docile and sweet mare. She is a straight to the point type of mare and does not go for the games and flirting. She will attempt to get what she wants and when she wants it as long as there are no negative long time effects. When it comes to stallion's she is not too picky but she will not tolerate younger and inexperienced stallions. This mare will deny them and leave them the first chance she can and if she can't she'll simply call out to attract attention to get a more experienced stallion. This is basically Freyja all the time, she is not high energy and she expects the best out of others instead of the worst.

The more dominate of this duo is the mother, the chestnut mare by the name of Electra. This mare is very protective of her herd and family, especially her foals. Speaking of foals, she travels with her three year old daughter Juliette. This mulberry grey mare is very skittish and is pretty much glued to her mother. Despite being mature and old enough to be out on her own, she stuck with her mother after finding her after the storm that separated them from their herd. Due to Juliette relying on her mother for safety more than anything, the twelve year old mare can get pretty testy with her daughter. It is known for Electra and nip and kick the three year old if she invades her personal space and gets really clingy as Juliette is known to be. Electra is very stubborn and can come off as pushy at first but she is a really sweet mare. She enjoys the company of others and will create bonds with those within the herd. Unlike her daughter, this mare isn't very skittish, she's more fool hardy than anything else. Juliette is timid and unsure of herself most of the time, she lakes the confidence her mother has but hopefully as she grows older she will gain more confidence and learn that she does not need to rely so heavily on one horse just to get by.

This dapple gray and white stallion can be quite brutal. Phantom wants what he wants when he wants, he will seek out any mares he deems good enough to keep in his herd. He does not offer much affection but rather treats them more like fragile glasses that need to be kept, not loved. The sixteen year old stallion has many years of experience on his belt and he isn't afraid to make sure other stallions know it. Phantom is known to intentionally stir up trouble with a younger stallion's band and stick around and cover as many mares as he can before he's off, those of which he manages to snake, only return with him to stay together as a herd. He doesn't deal with the mare hierarchy and just watches it without so much as a second thought. When it comes to the mares, this stallion enjoys ones that keep him on his hooves and already alert. He does not like them to try and control him though and will very well return any nips or bites he receives in the process. Phantom is cunning and extremely smart, he will find a way in or out of a situation. This horse doesn't enjoy his ego being hurt so he picks his battles carefully.

[ personality ] Sebastian is... He runs hot and cold, for starters. He tends to be that standoff-ish loner who spends his free time working or brooding by himself in the corner. He sulks around quite a bit, but not obnoxiously so, and more often than not keeps to quietly to himself versus disturbing anyone's peace. Most of this stems from the fact that he, indeed, is terrible at social interaction. He is not a stallion of many words, however those words differ from horse to horse and situation to situation. You see, he can be a horrible hard-ass; all serious and business like and incredibly stubborn, I mean really, it's a wonder anyone can work with him. When you see him alone, lurking out in the distance or off to the side of the herd, nine times out of ten he will have a scowl or a solemn expression plastered onto his handsome face, and many of the others who have met him thinks he only knows how to be serious and gloomy and broody. This isn't the case, at all. In fact, Sebastian has a great sense of humor; granted, most of it is witty remarks thrown back to back between someone who can handle his teasing banter, but that is what he enjoys. While stern and moody, Sebastian is sweet, incredibly devoted to his brother and his herd; willing to do whatever it takes to keep both alive and safe. He is honest, and loyal, and brave; he is a stallion who always puts himself last in the run of things; he eats last, he sleeps last, he relaxes last; essentially, he is one of the most humbled stallions you will come across. Sebastian is a strong, calm, steady presence- he is easy to be around, offering a comforting silence whenever you draw near. He is a good friend, truly. He is warm, for lack of a better word. His heart his huge, and his conscience will eventually be the downfall of him, no doubt. Sebastian would do anything to protect his mares and his family. He has shouldered quite a bit of pain and suffering his life, but he is more than prepared to bear all the pain in the world if someone needs him too. He would would bear any burden for any one of his mares today- he wants to. He wants to be the one to suffer through the problems for them, wants them to all be carefree and happy. No matter who came to him or when or where they did so he would suffer through anything they gave him so they could be happy. Sebastian is completely and utterly selfless, and that will be what brings him down. It is easy to take advantage of this male, no matter who you are.

✏ [ introduction ] This gorgeous stud would be He Said He Had a Story- not so lovingly nicknamed Haunt by the mares whom have come under his care for his haunting, ruthless personality. Haunt is a thirteen year old Oldenburg x Thoroughbred x Andalusian stallion.
✏ [ temperament ] Oh, Haunt. This really, really isn't a book you want to open my friend. It does not have a happy ending like most- but I suppose it would be best to warn you ahead of time, no? Well, lets start at the beginning. Haunts doesn't have a single shred of empathy or compassion in his body. No, he cares only about himself- his own desires and needs. He attacks first and asks questions later, but the scary part is he isn't some hot-headed idiot. He is incredibly intelligent and observant and cautious; the perfect villain, some could say. He refuses to be put down or threatened, and will put mares back in their place without hesitation; he ranks himself below only his lead mare, and often times will even push her around This is why he tends to stick to younger mares, because he can bully and direct them himself. He goes after what he wants, and what he wants is pretty, young, healthy mares to parade about like trophies. Prizes that he has won through force and violence. He does not show them affection, or sympathy, and does not waste his time consoling them or courting them; he snakes who he likes, and steers far out of the way of older mares and uglier[in his opinion] mares. Of course, if said uglier or older mares are deep in heat, he will happily cover them before moving on. Haunt is violent and aggressive and ruthless and just heartless- but he has gone far because of it. He is the sire of over sixty foals at this point, and plans to snake and cover even more mares this season. Haunt could easily be described as egotistical and vain- he is gorgeous and he knows it. He owns it, flaunts it, lures mare into thinking they are safe and secure with rolling wit and charm and flirting. After he harshly snakes them of course. He is the best stallion in the land, the king, the only stallion a mare could ever want. In his mind- to others he is brutal and violent and terrifying, one to be avoided. Essentially- there is not a kind bone in this stallions' bone. Sure is pretty though.
✏ [ appearance ] Haunt is handsome, gorgeous. Undeniably so- and he knows it, of course. Flaunts it. To start off, this stallion stands a good seventeen hands at the withers, thanks to his Oldenburg and Thoroughbred blood. He is a strong, compact stallion with a thick chest and neck. His hips are broad and his back strong- his legs are long and can pack an incredible punch. He is a pretty dapple gray stallion; his legs almost completely black while his neck and head fade into a pale silver color. Haunt's mane and tail are both a deep, midnight black and his eyes the color of dark ground coffee beans.
✏ [ herd life ] Haunt is currently a bachelor stallion; he has no mares or foals under his care. Thankfully. But that will soon change if he has his way.

✏ [ introduction ] This pretty little mare is The Story of a Wanderer, but she has taken on the name Vagabond. Vagabond is a fourteen year old American Mustang.
✏ [ temperament ] Vagabond is... unique. She is very quiet in that she likes to remain silent and watch everything around her with a very stern, calm eye. She his dominant- very, very much so, because she is an incredibly intelligent mare and knows that her sharp mind is the best one to lead the herd. Vagabond is very opinionated and set in her ways- she is very stubborn. Unlike what you might assume from her name, she is not a 'go with the flow' type mare, and will fight tooth and nail for what she wants- all in an eerie silence. She has never even shared her name with anybody but Tuka, her close friend. Vagabond could be described as... Judgmental. She does not give second chances, if you give reason for her to distrust or dislike you once, she will pack up and leave just like that. She does not accept apologies or excuses, and is very straight to the point. Vagabond is actually a very good mother, however, even if it does not seem it. She shows affection to her foals and her foals alone, and is a very harsh, stern, but loving parent- every one of her six foals has gone out into the world intelligent and ready for whatever could be thrown at them. Because of Vagabond. She's a confident mare; very, very trusting in her own abilities, knowing her limits and just how to push them in order to get what she wants. Vagabond can be manipulative, especially with mares, twisting them to her cause and her values. All without ever uttering a word. She's vain, for sure, because she is great; stunning and intelligent and strong, and she knows it. And she makes sure everyone else knows it, as well.
✏ [ appearance ] Vagabond is quite the pretty mare; she stands fifteen hands at the withers and sports a gorgeous, scarless strawberry roan overo coat. She looks almost rusted, with distressed roan markings that grow more profound and dark on her chest and shoulders as well as her hips; the rest is very... faded. Her eyes are a deep brown mocha, and she has a very compact, agile body type with long legs and a 'slender' torso. Her chest is thick, and her neck rather short with a very gently curved muzzle.

✏ [ introduction ] The name is A Cause for Suffering, but this mare goes by Tuka. Tuka is a six year old American Mustang mare.
✏ [ temperament ] Tuka, unlike her companion Vagabond, really isn't a very hard mare. She is quite relaxed and gentle and laid-back, always very calm and collected unless in a moment of mass panic. She is quite courageous, and will defend herself and her morals. She will also fight tooth and nail to stay with Vagabond, for she has a very, very deep bond with the older mare. While Tuka can pack quite the punch, she really isn't a fighter. She is a follower, not a leader, and is a wonderful friend to have at your side. She is can be very overprotective of her foals, however, and does not let other mares or her stallion around them until they have reached a few months of age. Tuka is very much a go with the flow type of mare, and doesn't complain about a whole lot nor protest against authority. She also doesn't have a huge sense of loyalty to her stallion, however, and will tend to wander off with just about anyone so long as Vagabond is nearby. Some stallions have an issue keeping her in check, or once she goes into heat, namely stages three and four, she will go off in search of any stallion if hers won't address her right away.
✏ [ appearance ] Tuka is a gorgeous mare; she stands fifteen point three hands at the withers as has a bright, vibrant sorrel pelt. She has the strong, stocky, compact body of an American Mustang, and is a very hard, adaptable mare. Her eyes are the color of cognac, and the only other color on her is her wide blaze. Tuka's mane and tail are both thick and long and matted, having never been cut or groomed, and her jagged hooves are all a dusty charcoal.

✏ [ introduction ] This is In Cauda Venenum; it has a meaning. It is Latin, and can be translated to 'the worst has yet to come', which is rather fitting for this little spitfire. She goes by Charlotte with familiar acquaintances, however, and is a twelve year old American Mustang mare.
✏ [ temperament ] Charlotte is a spitfire, no doubt about it. Of course, not necessarily at first, or all at once. She is very kind and gentle and sweet with an incredibly strong maternal sense; a social mare at heart who loves to have company. If that company is calm, respectful, and level-headed. Charlotte could very easily be a fast friend; your most trusted companion and a mare to stick by your side through the ages. If you treat her right; if you show her disrespect and rebellion and a careless, reckless nature, she will stick your name to the top of her list- and this mare is exceptional at holding grudges. She's not the type to forgive and forget, so if you give her a reason not to trust you or not to like you, she will always have a very critical eye on your back at all times. This is a mare who knows what is worth and knows what she is capable of- she won't be caught ever rolling in self pity or nervousness and won't tolerate anyone trying to belittle her. She is confident, and proud, and strong. Both mentally and physically. Charlotte is a dominant mare, but she is not one of those mares who will defy her lead and challenge her over and over again just to get her way. If she joins a herd with a lead mare already established; she will wait, and she will watch. If the mare is very young or old, or if she does not seem to be doing a great job, then Charlotte will challenge her. But so long as she isn't at the bottom of the food chain, she sees no reason to try and remove a good lead from her job.
✏ [ appearance ] Charlotte is a pretty, rich bay pinto; the majority of her body is bay however, with minimal white patches across her sides and stomach and face. She has very pale brown eyes, the color of creamy coffee, and her mane and tail are both an inky black; thick and long and tangled. She stands fifteen point two hands at the withers, with the classic body type of an American Mustang; strong and hardy and muscular.

✏ [ introduction ] Battesimo Del Fuoco- another Latin name. It means 'a baptism of fire', and while this mare loves the sound of her name, with friends she goes by the nickname Stella. Stella is a eight year old American Mustang x Arabian mare.
✏ [ temperament ] Stella really isn't like her mother- she does have a temper, though it is not nearly as explosive, and it doesn't burn half as hot when she does go off. No, Stella is really a very sweet, docile mare with a level head and accepting personality. She can take quite a bit before being sent over the edge emotionally, and tends to skirt away from skirmishes. She is generally lost without a stallion to protect her, because she despises having to look out for herself, and is not the strongest mare around. She isn't dominant at all, but will not let other mares walk all over her for laughs. Stella devotes herself to her herd, and her foals, and when she loses either of them she tends to just... Come apart at the seams. Stella needs some gentle care sometimes, because she is quite sensitive, and the only thing that will make her angry or upset quickly is getting treated badly by her stallion or lead mare.
✏ [ appearance ] Stella is quite pretty, just like her mother Charlotte. Standing at fifteen hands at the withers, Stella is a beautiful velvety dark bay mare with deep, dark brown eyes. She has almost the same body structure of her mother, though with a more slim, agile look to it due to her Arabian father; she is father than her mother because of this, and quite a bit more agile. Stella has white scars that lace her front legs and mar her hips- attacks from her controlling old stallion, though she is still desirable despite them.

✏ [ introduction ] A Posse Ad Esse- you guessed it, Latin. This one meas 'from possibility to actuality', but if you know her well you can feel free to call her Alice. Alice is a ten year old Arabian mare.
✏ [ temperament ] Alice is... She's sweet, really, but she's also very... High maintenance. She doesn't like being ignored for too long, especially by the stallion in her herd. If she goes several days without attention from him, she will get very pissy and irritated. Some of the mares call her 'princess' behind her back because she acts like one a lot of the time. Alice is an incredibly irresponsible mare, and is not a very good mother nor lead mare because of this. That doesn't stop her from breeding every year[and often watching her foals die in some way or another due to the neglect] and fighting for the rank just so she can be the most important mare in the herd. She is very friendly, though, in her own way. You just have to catch her on the right day, in the right mood, and you have to be a close friend or stallion. She loves stallions- the bigger, older, and more handsome and controlling the better for her. She isn't loyal to her stallions, and if she finds one she likes the look of better than you she is custom to just, run off into the sunset with him. Or, draw him closer and see who wins the fight for her.
✏ [ appearance ] Alice is a fourteen point two hand palomino overo mare; she is quite beautiful white her pale golden and white body and her thick, raven black mane and tail. Her eyes are a deep unpigmented blue, complimenting her nicely. Being an Arabian, Alice is a rather slim, agile, small mare who was built for speed and endurance. Alice does not have a single scar on her body- she does everything in her power to avoid fights and things of the type to keep it that way.

✏ [ introduction ] This would be Songbirds and Prophets, but she's generally called Raven. Raven is a nine year old Shire x Thoroughbred x Appaloosa mare.
✏ [ temperament ] Raven is... Where to start. She never shows affection, but she is a very kind mare if you treat her right. She can get along with most anyone, so long as they can put up with her dark, spiteful nature. She isn't the best mother, feeling no real connection or love towards foals- in fact when she does start having her own, they will probably need to be raised jointly by other mares. She is pretty laid back and calm about... Everything. She only fights to protect her own life, and otherwise depends on her stallion and other mares to do all of the work. Raven is... Dominant, but not. She does not like to be pushed and prodded, but flat out refuses to ever be a lead mare- too much work, and she would have to find room in her heart to care about someone's welfare other than her own. She does bite back, quite often, even to the lead, but is able to lay low enough that she rarely gets driven out of herds.
✏ [ appearance ] To start off, Raven stands seventeen point three hands at the withers. She has a beautiful black leopard appaloosa pelt, her head and neck dominantly being a sooty gray. The mare has muddy hazel eyes and a black and cream mane and tail. She has a rather stocky, thick, very muscular body though she is not big and buff if that makes sense. She packs a huge punch thanks to being half Shire, though has the slimmer body type of her Thoroughbred x Appaloosa mother.

✏ [ introduction ] Just a Fairytale is this mares name, but she goes by Sparrow. Sparrow is a four year old Arabian x Quarter Horse x Thoroughbred mare.
✏ [ temperament ] Sparrow... Well, let's just start at the beginning. His mares were all terrified of her father and therefore did nothing to stand up to him, so with the cruel stallion as her only influence she grew to be skittish and shy and incredibly timid of... Everything. She has never known any stallion but him, so her fear of males is somewhat justified. Sparrow is easy to spook, and is totally dependent on her mother, Rhapsody, to keep her calm and guide her through things. She would completely be lost if she was ever separated from Rhapsody. When scared, Sparrow has one of two responses; she will either flee into the horizon and have to be snaked back by whoever claims her, or will actually launch herself at whatever scared her and attack it to try and get it away. Despite being a timid, scared young mare she can be quite the feisty thing when she feels comfortable, and is incredibly kind.
✏ [ appearance ] Sparrow is a gorgeous golden mare, her pelt that of a rich buckskin. Her haunches are covered in dark scars from her father always picking on her and, when she went into heat, very, very brutally driving her out of the herd. Sparrow stands fifteen point three hands at the withers, and has a thick black mane and tail with deep brown eyes. She has a stocky, compact, yet slim body type, and she has very long legs like her father had.
