The white she-wolf's normally serene eyes flashed with a rebellious light for a moment, then faded as she allowed herself to calm. She thought carefully about what the Alpha had said, noting his posture and stance. She had to be careful, one mistake could be catastrophic. She continued with her pace neatly, mind whirling with thought. Her heart hammered in her chest as she searched for a reasonable answer, but she feared the truth would only bring harm. Pretending to be completely focused on the Alpha's word she opened her jaws to answer. Whether it was fortunate or not for her, she was purely a wolf of her word.
"I am called the Cyanea," she answered, raising her muzzle a centimeter as her second answer came to mind. She nearly dared to meet his gaze, but stopped herself at their last moment. Her heart's rythym quickened, pounding faster. She needed to be careful. The pretty wolf felt like gulping as she spoke further, mentally hoping she would not be punished for it. Now she dared not to meet the sharp eyes of the Alpha, worried of what she would see there.
"And I am not seeking any rank, I am... A trespasser."She didn't look over at Ciq for assurance. He knew the facts, she was a trespasser, and was not seeking a rank at all. The rebellious little fire lit in her heart, what right did they have to assume her a position? She knew she had trespassed, and would receive punishment if she must, but did they really expect her to join? What did she even really want anyway?
Each gentle breeze whispered in her ear, and every sound, treading paws against the leafy ground, bird called echoing seemed magnified. She breathed in slowly, the air like a breath of frost in her lungs. Had the truth done any good?
Secondly, she wasn't even sure that if she did join, she would be a good addition to the pack. If anything, she thought she would be a healer, but it seemed as if every wolf was avoiding that rank. Why? How could she possibly be any good at anything anyway? She had always secretly liked the idea of being a fighter, but in a different way.
Normally, she was not act like this, but she was mentally lost.
Her feelings were confused, she just didn't... Understand, but so badly wanted too. Who were all these wolves, an Omega in trouble, the Alpha, Ciq, and the other wolf, Lilly, perhaps a Hunter. Truly her curiosity had gotten the better of her this time. She signed mentally, wishing she could stay strong. Nothing like this had happened to her before, and she just hoped it wouldn't change her...
