A long time ago – I might’ve been able to stand by my brothers and feast on the same kill. The East and the West were part of a moving circle – a balance of push and pull. There was kindness and cooperation between the clans, but the time has seemed to pass. Lips are turned and teeth are shown, sinking deep into the fabric of the hearts and minds of all my brethren. The Chimera Pack – who lie within the East roamed the lands and herded the fallow deer. They are strong and swift – quick and sharp minded. Then there are the Artemis - healers, leaders, and scouts ran thick within their blood. They are kind hearted and loyal – but fierce.
When winter would come, drowning the land in white – the two packs would work together to protect the land and keep one another alive.
However Mother Nature made a turn for the worst this year. With terrible snow storms and harsh conditions produced by the weather, the wolves are unable to work together as usual, leaving us in a horrible bind. With the deer left unable to breed efficiently and starving to death with the freezing ice, hunting is nearly impossible. Wolves became ill and our ribs are protruding from ours sides.
The alpha of the Chimera Pack added extra hunts to their daily work – without alerting the Artemis Pack of their actions. In an attempt to a peaceful resolution, the Artemis pack confronted the alpha of her actions – and blood was spilled. Sides were drawn and grudges were formed. The Chimera withdrew from their way of life – helping and sharing only with each other in order to survive, leaving the Artemis empty pawed.
Some wolves say differently – but I know the truth.
I can see the common ground.

Cold hearted and power hungry, this pack will stop at nothing to claim what they believe to be theirs. They are very large and pure muscle. Fighters to the bone. The Chimera is led by a war driven Alphess. She is ruthless and a born leader. Captivating the true meaning of hate and revenge. Though they are strong willed they still work strongly as a team and take care of each others needs. They will do whatever it takes to keep their pack alive and strong.

Where did the name come from? The Chimera was, according to Greek mythology, a monstrous fire-breathing female and male creature of Lycia, composed of the parts of three animals — a lion, a snake and a goat. Usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that ended in a snake's head, the Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.

oppenheimer is a very 'ruthless' and 'fearsome'
dog. he is a one year old black wolf and
one born with fighting in his heart. he is 159
pounds of pure muscle, a light wolf for his size.
he has no care or sensitivity for others, but
many know him as bloodshed, and that is the
name he usually calls himself. he is chimeras'
alpha brute, wandering into artemis only to fight
with the alphas and other dogs. he has, as
you would think, many battle scars, and many
stories to tell. his main strategy, a reason why
he acquired the name bloodshed, is because
he often attacks and hunts at night, where he
can either ambush or flee freely. he is often
in utter boredom until he has a chance to
ambush. no one likes him yet, and whoever
would must be an enduring or just crazy female.

The Artemis pack is one of peace and strength. Living by a code that benefits both wolves and Mother nature alike. Beautiful and compassionate wolves. What can make you weak, can also make you strong. They are united as one, taking care of one another as though they were blood kin. Vowing to protect the way of life that they once knew true. Earth has a balance that must remain, with out it, all civilization would clash, until there were none left. Do no mistake their compassion for disability, they raise lip and tooth as well as their former brethren. Cunning and wise becomes their strongest tool for survival, using their compassion to guide them. Their leader is one that will always to the place in front, in the line of fire. A valley that has been broken, will always be home, peace will guide them to their fate. What ever it may hold.

Where does the name come from? ARTEMIS was the great Olympian goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals. She was also a goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of the girl child up to the age of marriage. Her twin brother Apollon was similarly the protector of the boy child. Together the two gods were also bringers of sudden death and disease--Artemis targetted women and girls, and Apollon men and boys.

Personality Description: Soar is quick to assume, whether it's about another wolf or a situation, it doesn't matter if there's nothing to assume about in the first place. She wants to set an opinion of things for her simple mind to handle. Worst of all, she usually stands solid on her initial thoughts. It would be best to make a proper first impression, and fast before she makes her first, groundless guess about you. Despite being a hunter, her seemingly unlimited, bubbling excitement leans to wanting conflict. Soar is itchy-pawed for a fight but is submissive and will follow orders with no complaint, even if she has no regard that the order was a good one.
She respects her packmates greatly, and acts energetic alongside them, encouraging even as she seeks to make sure her packmates have fun in whatever they do. As Lead Hunter, she always looks forward to hunts as a time of joyful chasing and striding with the wolves she has grown up with. She is also, sometimes annoyingly talkative and clingy if her task to brighten up a packmate's solemn heart had failed.
Your Story: Soar's main goal and dream wasn't to pick fights, no matter how many times she has attempted to do so this age. As a pup, she always wanted to run across her pack's territory freely, laughing with her littermates and friends of the future. But such a dream would be too good for a wolf with the sole purpose to merely survive. Her littermates-- Sparrow and Sky had died from a Winter cold. In memory of her beloved siblings, she changed her name to Soar. It was originally Field, which represented her yearn to dash across an open land.
Upon reaching adolescence, she left her family to make her own pack. But she changed her mind as she stumbled upon this strong, formidable pack that she grown to admire and love.
