Sage sighed," I got a pretty bad wound on my hind leg, but everything else is fine.. " She murmured to Justice, nuzzling her back. A wolf must have really got me good on the leg.. or I could have scraped it on a rock.. she thought to herself. Wincing her leg in pain she started lapping at it again. Turning away from her wound she limped to the waterfall's pool and drank thoroughly, looking up at Ghost's scratches, water dripping from her muzzle. A thought passed through her head about the older mare, She'll probably be the lead mare.. she is after all as old as Ghost.. she minded a little about it, but she knew it was just the way it most likely be.

Ghost looked over the two mares as he stood there in the water, his whole body aching. He didn't say anything, just watched before he breathed in deeply and stepped out of the water, shaking off his coat and looking to them, "we should go. Find shelter for the night. We cannot spend it here in the water. We'll freeze, despite it being summer," he explained to them both, nosing Sage and Justice lightly before moving on slowly.

Juliet was standing a little ways off from the main herd. She was noticeable but small enough to be passed by. her tail was clamped down firmly in an effort to prevent her now strong heat scent from escaping and attracting anyone. It was her first year away from her herd, and with her shy personality, she knew she would never make it on her own. But she couldn't dare herself to be brave enough to approach a stallion at all. Or have one approach her without her squealing in fright. So the Arabian thoroughbred just stayed quiet, knowing there was safety, more or less, near this big herd.

She picked her lovely bodice up into a trot and she weaved through the herd, her head held high and her mane streaming behind her. Luna began to prance around, starting to get a bit bored. She pranced around then galloped quickly shooting out of the herd before quickly steering herself around and galloping through the herd, she bucked a couple of times whinnying and snorting with glee.

She liked how Night gave her some space, she didn't like stallions that were all over her all the time she like affection but too much is too much. Moon trotted in a circle around Rollin' Nightmare before slowing down a little away from him and began to graze silently.

eclipse arched his neck to the side as ellie wandered further from the herd than what he agreed with, but he snorted. he would approach her after his lead mare, who deserved the attention and respect after winning a battle. he bobbed his head happily as she approved without him having to ask, before moving closer and gliding his muzzle down her back swiftly. he then covered her without further hesitation. after the deed was done, the dark bay stud approached the mare's side, his gaze soft and loving as he began to groom her withers softly, taking care to avoid any cuts on her from the battle.

lunar raised her head a while after she heard aggressive screams, sounding like they weren't too far away. of course, her being her decided she should investigate. she clamped her long, wavy tail hoping a stallion wouldn't follow her strong fragrant heat scent, before taking off in a canter, saving most of her energy in case she was chased. she slowed down when she spotted a massive herd and what must of been a bachelor, but she didn't budge anymore, instead lowering her neck to graze on the delicious vegetation, keeping an eye on the horses out of curiosity.

geronimo caught gaze on a scarred black mustang mare eating a patch of clovers on a small hill-like figure in a small distance away. he continued to watch as she raised her head to allow a feminine sounding nicker escape her muzzle, so he set out a fairly loud one back in reply, his tail casually swatting at a few flies. he wanted to attempt to get her, but he wanted to let his other mares settle in as well. little did he know, the black mare was dominant and was better to be excluded from his herd as she would probably distress Flavia. he snorted softly to himself, deciding he would wait a while, but be sure to keep an eye on her.

Pyro Followed after luna gently, nosing her forward, also as if to say, Forget about them, we're fine now.. He brushed past her, giving a flick of his dark tail while patrolling his herd, leaving a foot of space between him and his herd of mares. The Bay squealed, while a nip grazed her hip, the mare swerved her rump away. Ears pinned, She wasnt sure what the stallion wanted her to do. Claim her of course, but she didn't know what to think of the stallion, even if she had liked him. A huff blew from her grizzled proboscis as she could only stare, after a moment of thinking, she quietly took a step or two forward, then her steps lead to walking as the mare wondered what was to happen, she knew what was oming, however.

Receiving the nip was what told him to stop, therefore he did. Flicking his ears, he stood where he was. Seeming to be much more comfortable in this area whereas he could watch the herd easily. But his gaze mostly targeted the mare... he had to cover her, sooner then later. Her heat was too tantalizing for him to even stand, whats worst were bachelors. Who some he knew were older then him. Soldier let a huff vibrate his nostrils, announcing his thinking moment while the paint lowered his head to graze, for now, he would give her some time before he asked. Knowing he didn't like to be forceful and annoying to most mares.
