Kiona moved easily across the cracked grounds of a once thriving grassland. The previous earthquake had reduced it to a heap of parted dust and rubble. Not a hint of sadness was shown in Ki's casual demeanor. The mare had no ties to this piece of land, in fact it was her first time ever wandering over it. Natural disasters were common, they happened multiple times over the course of a year. The appaloosa was currently a loner. No plans and no relationships. Then she spotted a tall, motionless black stallion, staring silently into the distance. Curiosity was Kiona's most fervent trait, it slipped out from it's hiding place and leaked into the horse's mind. Breaking into a brisk trot, she strode towards the towering Frisian.

Once she was near to him, she simply said "Hello there." Then waited patiently for his reply. Although the horse was a skyscraper beside her, Ki showed no trace of fear, only interest. Other horses had never frightened her, unless they threatened or hurt her.

-Grazing on the grass she could find, Nakota huffed out a breath before raising her head to look around. She gazed at her surroundings and flicked her ears to try and pick up sounds. Nothing. Nothing besides her and the barren land. she swished her tail to flick flies away, inhaling the scent of dirt and wind and scrub grass. snorting and shaking her head and mane, she started off at a lazy pace forward, heading nowhere.

Zero wondered aimlessly about the barren landscape. The only sign of life were the irritating flies buzzing at his hind-quarters. With a flick of his tail, Zero journeyed on, his hooves scraping against the cracking ground. For awhile he just ambled, no real direction or destination. After all, Zero had no where to be and no one to find. Unless he happened to come across a mare seeking a herd. That's when he spotted a solitary roan mare. Suddenly excited, Zero released a loud whinny, alerting the mare of his presence.

- Obsidian looked down at the newcomer, a small smile growing upon his muzzle. The stallion backed down from the large rock, and took a few big steps toward her. "Hello," he greeted in a somewhat loud, deep voice. "What is your name, mare?" Obsidian lowered his bulky head to align with hers. "I'm The Midnight King, but I'd rather you call me Obsidian."

At roughly just over 16hh, but not 17, this mare is rather tall; likely the first thing you'd notice of her. Her coat is a deep, unmistakable, pure black; like a jet stone, an endless depth of cold water and the shadows that lurk at nights with no moon. But it is her mane that is the most interesting sight; best explained by a deep rose brown, that shines a certain fire and life to it, if caught in the sun at the right angle. As for her structure, she is tall, mildly below averagely graceful, yet a well-muscled and powerful mare
Personality:

While certainly fierce and bold at times, as all wild mares should be, Feuinte prove to have a gentle, calm side to her, that doesn't appear often. She is a free mare, and will fight for herself with whatever means necessary. Knowing that though she has strength and speed, an average stallion could still get the better of her. With that knowledge, she normally fights back with intimidation by voice and stance alone; if that fails, she has managed to outrun the braver stallions that approached her anyways. She's been lucky so far, but these stallions are bigger and older than the ones she's escaped before. Perhaps this wild mare will have to accept joining a herd before long.
History:

There's not much to this mare. Her mother was as wild and rebellious as she was, and left her herd before Feuinte was born. She raised her first filly without the comfort of a herd purposely. She had no desire for her daughter to need a stallion to survive. The cruel world has raised her to be independent, capable of taking care of herself, and most of all, knowing she doesnt need anyone. Once she thought Feuinte was ready, she left her, leaving nothing behind. Feuinte has been alone since.

-Surprised, Nakota's head swung up and her ears pricked forward. The roan mare gazed levelly in this stranger's direction, trying to decide what action to take. Finally, she took a chance and began walking towards him with a brisk pace, tail swishing to and fro. she snorted once she got around 20 feet away, head still high. Shifting her weight back, she half stomped one front hoof and shook her head and mane proudly. Nakota decided to let him start conversation, and waited patiently.
