Dante was born a loner, and growing up, he lived with his mother. His father was never around, because his mother had had an affair with a neighboring pack's Alpha and that was how Dante came to be. Dante knew who his father was, but he never actually met him. Dante's mother kept him close to her, and as he grew older, and so did his mother, he took care of her. When he reached 3 1/2, his mother went out on a hunt for small game, and she never returned. To this day, Dante doesn't know where his mother went. He constantly searched for his mother, but eventually he gave up hope. When he hit 5 years old, the ice age hit, and he began to travel, constantly searching for other wolves. When he reached 6 years old, he found the survivors and joined them.
