Okay, I think it's time we can begin!
Sorry it took so long, I'm a bit of a sloth. ^///^
Anyways, let's get started, shall we? :3

Warpath stood at the edge of a balcony connected to his stone castle, overlooking his kingdom. The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon, smearing the sky with a warm red-orange color. He threw his gaze down below to the streets. They were empty now, but within an hour or so, they will be lined with merchants looking to sell their goods, and commoners looking to purchase goods. He could see a few sellers rolling their carts up to the street sides already. In order to get the best spot, you had to get there first. Commerce was healthy - necessary, actually. It was a sign that his kingdom was doing well, and the people were economically comfortable.
This kingdom has been built upon a throne of lies, deception, murder. But after falling and being rebuilt, he himself now sits upon a throne of honor, prosperity, and pride. Though the city was still littered with rubble and debris of the fallen kingdom, he looked at it as a reminder of what he must not become. The people don't mind the remains, it seems to give them a sense of security. Something his bloodline hasn't been able to offer. His family has always had power issues. They've all craved it too much, starved for more than just a crown. His own father, the previous King, had been spiraling down the same path as the corrupt king when Warpath had been announced Prince. If Warpath had just sat back and watched as his father brought Solustio to turmoil...who knows what would've happened.
"Prince Warpath!"
The canine monarch was snapped out of his thoughts as his name pierced his ears. He recognized the voice immediately, and looked to the sky.
"I have done it! I have been to all nine kingdoms! Novem! Nine!" A small white bat fluttered to the King and perched himself on the balcony's railings. "I have told them all of the meeting! I have told them that the Prince of War has requested their presence at his Fallen Kingdom, yes? Yes!" His heavy Latin accent overwhelming each word.
Warpath raised an eyebrow at the title the messenger, Tantibus, had given him. "The Prince of War?"
"Yes!" Tantibus said, "Fitting, no?"
"No!" Warpath flattened his ears.
Tantibus looked confused, "No, yes?"
"Yes; no!"
"Yes!"
The Prince did the canine equivalent of a facepalm. "Tantibus. Please don't call me that. It makes me sound bad."
"Oh." Tantibus thought for a moment. "King of War! Better, yes?"
Warpath groaned. He wasn't a King. Well, in a sense he was, but he didn't feel as though he had earned that title. King is a title passed down from generation to generation. He hadn't been given the title King, he had taken it from his father. He didn't deserve it, not yet. He's still a Prince as far as he's concerned.
"How about just Prince Warpath?" He suggested.
"Prince of War! Yessir!" Tantibus cheered.
Warpath sighed. "Anyways, they'll all be here tonight, correct? You told them that it starts tonight?"
The jovial messenger nodded his head, "Yuh-huh! Most of them said they'll make it. Others said that they might be late or not come at all."
"That sounds...decent, I suppose." Warpath looked at the sun. It was now a bit higher in the sky, and the red orange color was now changing into a soft blue. "I'll have everything ready by tonight." He looked back toward the bat, "Thank you for your help, Tantibus."
"Happy to help, yes!" He said, and leaped into the sky, spreading out his leathery wings to carry him off in the morning breeze.
Warpath watched the bat fly away, until he was no more than a mere dot in the sky. Looking back down to the streets of his kingdom, he could see his people beginning to stir. Soon they would fill his streets, and then later tonight, people that are not native here will be lining his streets, mingling with his own. Other rulers will be here as well, in his own castle. And he must welcome them. Tonight will be an interesting night, no doubt. He'll have fun, too; rekindling old friendships. But with old friends, there are also old enemies. He just hopes that at the end, there will be peace and not war.
