Crowtalon shook his head, still grinning a bit at the she-cat. "They wouldn't dare try anything." he reassured her confidently, slowing down until he was walking beside her again. "You need to worry a bit less. Not all together of course, but a bit less. It's not really a healthy habit to pick up." he warned, the tip of his black tail twitching in amusement. "Besides, we'll have fresh kits soon and then apprentices and then more warriors." he continued to ease the other warrior's concerns as he glanced around the sun-dappled forest, letting his legs stretch and his body warm. "Yeah. I suppose it is. THe sunrise today was especially nice." he agreed quietly, cocking his head to the side as he went quiet, simply listening to the world around him.

Nothing really, cats have already woken up and are doing patrols or hunting or really whatever. Mostly cats from Scarclan have been posting, not so much Arrowclan.]]

Blazingstar purred comfortably and rolled onto his side. Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced a small face peeping over to him, he grinned and gave a small laugh as Ivypaw raced towards him, her paws skimming the ground. "Hello Ivypaw," Blazingstar greeted, dipping his head, "Yes, I am planning to train with you later on after the patrols," he mewed, his voice sounding young, but wise. his tail swished impatiently, waiting for his clan to wake up, "So Ivypaw, how was your sleep?" he asked after a few minutes trying to break the ice.

Thunderroll woke up with a start, was his name really that bad? He decided that it was just a dream and then thought about it, he was lucky to have such a rare type of name that went well with him. He looked about, everyone was asleep. He gazed over to Wolfstorm, he admired her white and black pelt and her beautiful personality, he liked her more than any cat and she made him happy, he would talk to her when she wakes up. Thunderroll purred happily then walked out of the warrior den, being careful not to step on anyone, then he licked his paws and purred.

she shrugged and nodded, sniffing the air as the two Scarclanners approached the border. Lowering her head, Sagewing opened her mouth, collecting data and recognizing the Arrowclanners' scents. Turning, she stayed low in her crouch but gestured with her ears at the border. "You should probably mark it," she stated, and turned left. Finally, after lifting her head, the cream tabby padded along the scent markers. Worry a little less. the words rang out in her head, and relaxing her muscles, Sagewing took a deep breath. "Good, nothing abnormal to report to Briarstar here." nodding in approval, she whisked her tail and turned around.

Crowtalon watched the she-cat quietly for a bit longer, following along like her shadow until she spoke again. The tom nodded, slipping in easily after her, marking along the border every few squirrel-lengths. He turned back, nodding in approval as he was met with his own strong, fresh scent. Crowtalon turned again, following Sagewing off into the woods. As she turned, so did he. "Alright. Sounds good." he agreed promptly. "We should probably grab some prey on our way back." he suggested. "We could always use fresh prey anyways. I managed to nab a rabbit this morning on my way back. Maybe there's anther one roaming around here." he murmured. At the thought, the sleek, tall tom lifted his muzzle, his jaws parting to take in the scents of the forest and the prey lying hidden within.

Mapleflower padded back through the Arrowclan entrance, her paw steps light an gentle, pride swelling in her chest at the two plump squirrels and a mouse she now carried in her strong jaws. The she-cat set them on the fresh-kill pile, noting how much they seemed to add. She purred to herself for a moment, letting out a contented sigh before she turned to glance around the clan. Her bright blue gaze caught Blazingstar and Ivypaw and the young warrior offered a small smile. "Good morning!" she called over, her voice bright and happy. Mapleflower retrieved, the mouse she'd caught, moving a bit closer to the two other cats before she lowered herself and began to eat. She quickly and neatly finished the food, satisfaction and warmth settling in her belly. Cleaning her maw, the pretty little she-cat pulled herself back up into a sitting position, her tail draped politely across her paws. "What're we going to do today?" she asked curiously, glancing over at Blazingstar again.

She lay very still inside her den, the only indication that she was still alive was the slow rise and fall of her sides as she inhaled and exhaled. Her ear twitched several times and paws began churning in the moss of her nest as if she were running or struggling from something. Suddenly her eyes snapped open and she quickly stood, scraps of moss still clung to her ebony fur and she dispatched them with a quick shake of her pelt. Her sides heaved and heart pounded against her chest, but within moments the fright passed and she was left with an empty mind. Looking out of the entrance she saw that it was almost midday, she groaned wishing she could just stay inside her den for a few more moments. But she knew if her absence was noticed she would have been awoken shortly anyway, climbing out of her den she looked around camp she saw it was almost empty. "Everyone must be on patrol or out with their apprentices" she figured with a shrug of her shoulders. Her green orbs looked around camp once more, but seeing no one she headed towards the fresh kill pile. Finding a vole among the usual prey of fish, she grabbed it for herself and trotted away a few steps before settling down to enjoy her meal. Between bites she looked around camp waiting for a returning patrol or even her leader, briarstar, to return to where ever he had wondered off to.

He lay on his back in her den, moss strewn about and his nest left in bits scattered here and there. He usually didn't move in his sleep, keeping to a neat ball or his legs buckled beneath him and head bowed in a peaceful rest. But he had been restless last night, constantly twisting and turning even talking in quiet mumbles as he slept. But now he awoke, confused on his position and sat up looking around the empty den. A scrap of moss stuck just behind his ear and he quickly shook his head, flinging it across the den to land among another nest. Looking to where his nest should have been he saw it spread out and tore up, with a sigh he began gathering it back together and forming a new one that he could hopefully keep together.

Done fixing his nest, he stepped out into the near midday sun and looked around camp his bright green orbs searching for anyone who was still in camp. But it seemed everyone was gone on patrol or with their apprentices, "But they should be coming back soon" he thought checking the sky. He wished to go into the forest and hunt but with the threat of Scarclan lurking he didn't even dare go out by himself. He would simply have to wait for a later patrol or someone to go with him. Sitting down in the sunlight he could feel it warming his dark tabby pelt and relaxing his muscles, wrapping his tail over his paws he waited for them to return.

The cat's tail lashed angrily behind her when she found no sign of her apprentice. Turning the cat looked towards the open area she scanned around. Still, there remained no sign of Barkpaw. But she did spot the other apprentice, Ivypaw. Although she wasn't quite in the mood to approach the leader it would appear she'd have no other choice for now. She headed towards the two at a brisk, determined pace. As she reached the two she slowed, dipping her head respectfully to the leader before turning to the apprentice. It was discouraging to see that Ivypaw, an apprentice of only nine moons was already half of her size. But Bluemoon had other concerns other then her small size, she looked towards Blazingstar first, "I don't mean to interrupt Blazingstar, but have either you or Ivypaw seen anything of Barkpaw?" She asked politely. If not, well she'd set off on her own for an early morning hunt, apprentice or none.
