Wintergreen padded lightly out of the healer's den, her long fur trailing off in the misty breeze. She stopped, sniffing the air gently. Her mouth started to drool as she smelt a freshly-caught rabbit, and she could feel her belly clawing at her in hunger. Her paws instantly dragged her over to the edge of the pond, where she came face-to-face with Teela. Awkwardly, she laid down, completely silent as she stared off at the pond. "Nice hunting today?" she asked in a monotone voice, not daring to gaze at Teela in case she thought of her as a threat. Trying to make a good impression, it would be bad if Teela thought she might steal her breakfast. Wintergreen had joined the pack too recently to understand how everyone felt about her, but she was very curious about the other members. It will take time to learn what they are like. she thought, sighing gently.

I looked around seeing my brother Zachary I sighed and gave a little growl for him to go away I would never do this its just lately I have been wanting to be one own since my past, I looked up and saw no one around me and gave a sigh of relief ~I was alone just the way I like it~ I thought to myself hoping no others came near me.

I saw my sister Jewels growl at me and sighed ~what could I do for her she wont change and neither will her past~ I thought to myself but I would never ever tell her to lighten up it is her life, So I looked around for another dog to meet seeing my very own sister didn't want to talk to me.

~Teela-Female-4 Years Old-Fighter~

The presence of another caught her attention and Teela swung her silver gaze to the side. Winterbear? No. Wintergreen. As the other female greeted her, the black Aussie nodded in return. She waited until her mouth was no longer full to respond aloud. "Aye. This rabbit fell quick. It's quite a large one, too." Taking one last bite, she pushed the carcass towards the brown, white and caramel colored canine. There was still a fair amount of meat upon it and it would make a nice breakfast for her.

Once she'd released ownership of the rabbit, Teela began licking the blood and remnants from her muzzle and paws. As she did this, she eyed the other female. Wintergreen was new to the pack and, though she wasn't one to speak much, Teela was curious about all new members. It was unlikely that she'd ask questions, but she would watch them; learn their mannerisms' get a gauge on who they really were.

~Ryker-Male-7 Years Old- Warrior~

Ryker had settled himself in the clearing and was waiting for someone happy to come speak to him. Apparently everyone had gone off to play and hunt and, before he knew it, Ryker was asleep, his face mashed into the ground. After a time, a butterfly landed on his ear, tickling the heck out of him. It was a tenacious butterfly. No matter how much he flicked his ear, it held on strong. Finally the old dog had had enough and he sat up, shaking out his thick speckled ruff. "Silly bugs..."

Huffing, he rose and stretched, his joints popping. Head lowered, he made his way to the nearby pond. He could hear the others conversing and playing. Wading into the water chest deep, he drank his fill, tail swishing languidly around behind him.

Jesse and Jenn walked around looking for other dogs, Jesse went another way towards Jewels' path. Jenn sat down and barked "Where are you going?!" She said "Over here!" Jesse barked back, Jenn rolled her eyes and looked around she saw Zach but ignored him. She sighed to herself.

Dodge walked to the pond to lap up some cold fresh water, Waking up in the morning always made him so thirsty hw lifted his head at the sound of Wintergreen's voice he wagged his tail and licked his chops from the dripping water. He perked up his flopped over ears and smiled again. He looked around wondering if she saw him.

Daegan crawled out of his small bed and stretched. He hadn't done anything today except lay there. Standing up, he took the trail to a small pond. Not expecting to see anyone there at this time, he was surprised to see Jan. "Oh, Jan. Hi!" He wagged his tail a bit. "How are you?"

Haven flopped on her back, her light underbelly soaking up the warm sun's rays. Her tongue rolled out of her maw as she yawned. Her snow-white paws batted at a passing monarch butterfly. "Don't go!" She yipped as it flittered off. While her vision was flipped, Haven saw Ryker not far off. Jumping from the large boulder she had been resting on, Haven treaded lightly down to the older male, not making a sound. Barking softly to announce her arrival, Haven padded next to Ryker. She'd always admired him, and considered him the loving-fatherly type. "Ryker! Hi!" The hyper dog woofed, probably scaring off...whatever he was trying to catch.

Wagging his tail slightly, he smiled a bit towards the fae. She was easy on the eyes, her almost white coat shimmered in the sunlight, still slightly dripping at the end of her chest from the water. Her soft brown eyes seemed to shimmer slightly in the light as well. "I'm good, I'm good," he said quietly. Noticing he was sort of staring, he glanced at the others who seemed to have made their way to the small lake. "Want something for breakfast," he questioned the fae, wagging his tail again. "I could catch something real fast."

I looked back to see jesse of course I had to be nice I could never get snappy over nothing ~plus he was just asking a question what harm could that do~ I thought to myself I put a smile on my face and wagged my tail to say i was calm "Hello jesse and no where really I was just going for a stroll" I said calmly

I looked around my back to jen and smiled as i wagged my tail but as I saw she ignored me so of course I would do the exact same what others do to me, but I wouldn't get moody over this so I turned around respectfully and drooped my tail low but I still watched jesse with jewels ~you never know he could just use you~ I thought remembering her past

~Ryker-Male-7 Years Old- Warrior~

When Haven ran up behind him, the old dog yipped and visibly jumped a bit out of the water. Eyes wide, he turned, facing the boisterous white, brown and grey female. "Haven... you'll scare an old dog to death!" He couldn't help but wag, however, his long, thickly furred tail swishing in the water behind him. "You crazy pups with all of your energy. I used to be like that at one time." Ryker stopped himself before he went off on a 'back in my day...' tangent.

Padding out of the water, he shook the excess water from his coat and faced Haven once more, a grin spreading on his maw as he did so. A few sprinkles of water had landed on the younger dogs muzzle. Moving forward, Ryker lapped the drops away with his tongue before settling back to a seated position. "Any plans for today?"

Looking at the fea he turned his head.. "What?" He asked confused {he was talking to Jen XD} he looked at the fea and perked up his flopped over ears smilling to be nice but still confused about what she was talking about. He wagged his tail behind him..

She looked over at the brute and smiled blushing at the same time ~Hes cute.. But he likes Shayla....~ She thought to herself as she laid down in her spot waiting for her brother "He needs to hurry, I want to eat!" She said to herself looking around she sat up onto her haunches and lifted her leg sctraching behind her ear she placed down her leg laying down again.

Daegan smiled at the fae a little more as she noted her own independence and wagged his tail a little more for a brief second. He shook off his blue merle coat, and watched her crawl out of the lake, noting the mud that stuck to her paws. She looked a bit silly, but he didn't say anything or laugh at her. It was kind of cute, to be honest. Climbing out of the lake himself, he kicked his feet in the shallow water to clean off the mud. "Well," looking at the fae, "if you insist. I'm going to the field to look for some hares. If you want, you can join me."
