@Keriae; nothing much has happened really except the cats are waking up and starting their morning duties.
dustyedge is leading the morning patrol and cloudshadow is leading the hunting party; apprentices are assigned to a cat who isn't their mentors. anyone is free to correct me if i'm wrong on anything.


speaking of which,
i haven't a clue which warrior cloverpaw's with. xD
and both my cats are open, if anybody wants to interact.
i'll try to slip them in somewhere in my post soon. cx

As he sat there, watching the cats continue on their day, he thought of one last thing. "Also, I want nobody leaving at night for a while unless they talk to me beforehand. And make sure someone is with you at all times. I don't want Ashclan catching anyone alone." Nodding at all the clan cats who appeared, he swiftly jumped off the calling rock, ending the meeting. He slowly walked around the camp, sniffing all the den entrances to make sure all the bedding had been replaced recently. Nodding slightly, none were too bad. His long fur was finally fully dry, but it wouldn't be for long. He planned on going on a solo hunt, even if it went against his own words. Padding to his den, he disappeared for a moment. Coming back out, he decided it wouldn't be best to leave the camp by himself. He searched for someone to tag along.

She had not drifted, nor had she even moved on to day dreaming, but the voice behind her still shocked her. She hated to admit a small thing as a voice could creep up on her, but she rolled with it. Her light pelt almost matched the one decorating the cat now in front of her, Foxgaze's green eyes staring at the she-cat curiously. She had quickly made the movement to stand up, although hating the act of socialness without being sarcastic, she found it rude to be lying down and talking. The she-cat was Mistypool. She had not attended the battle between ashclan, but she hunted all night for those that came back, she considered what she did nice, or caring, what ever it was. 'hey, foxgaze? you know, daisyflight doesn't get out too often. actually not at all. she's been cooped up since she became a queen. why don't we take her out for a walk or something down the river and to the falls? we could take our apprentices, maybe even hunt a little along the way?' the she-cat asked, a question tone that was soft was on her voice.

Foxgaze considered what she said, and what leaders speech had been about. Maybe Mistypool would accept a tweak to the plan? She nodded and head and smiled, opening her mouth to speak. 'I'll ask if she wants to go, she might be sore or sleeping, but I will insist it. And maybe we could take each others apprentice, you could take mine and I take four’s. After all, it's what leader asked.' She shut the light from her mouth, closing it quickly. Maybe a small walk with a motherly queen would do her good, she hardly got warmth into her half frozen heart, maybe she could finally break the ice? But her thoughts would most likely not come true, her personality and attitude was passed down the family, even her brother got it. She looked around, no sight of any apprentices she needed. 'Would you like me to wake them?'. she asked, glancing over at the den to see if maybe mistpaw woke.

His sister had woken before him, a feat that surpirsed him. Pinefall used to wake up early anf simply stroll, he never got tired even waking up near moon high. But he had noticed his sister's new way to wake, to move around earlier than before. It didn't surpirse him, she always wanted to surprise cats, but maybe her path wasn't the way to go. His orbs moved around the room, the lights finally glowing in them, though dull as ever. His ears were squashed against the ground, his lying position seemed to render his hearing almost useless. But what did he have to hear, he had simply just woken. But when the cat lurched forward, his dark pelt almost blending into the den around him, he heard leaders loud words. It almost made him scrabble for grip to run out and make it to the meeting. But with the words drawing to a close, so did the meeting, his words pulling the gathering to its end. A sleepless night had made him catch up in the morning, leaving him without knowledge of what happened during the talk.

He walked out the den, his pelt smoothed down after a few long licks. He could see life amongst the pebbles and sand, the river still supplied its light rushing sound, calming. The early hunters had pulled in their kill taking to those who needed it or simply dropping it somewhere on the pile, to be eaten by the next warrior. He could smell the fresh scent of wounds, or near open wounds, some even had the stinging smell of infection. Shinesong tried her best, he had to admit, but if infection had found its home in a cut the cat could be in serious danger. With no one to really talk to, he simply headed towards a random tom, the pelt labelling him as Dustyedge. The tom before him was chatting to daisyflight, a queen. 'Dustyedge, if you don't mind me inerupting. But might i ask what Echostar talked about during the meeting?' A simple question, really, he didn't expect a long reply, but Dustyedge might supply one and it didn't bother him.

⇀ foxgaze is about to pick up Mistpaw, mistletoe.

ooc: hope this is alright. it's awfully small, sorry about that. i kinda just browsed the last few pages to see who's cats were open. cx i'll post with riverpaw once deffs has a post up, because i'm not sure what to do with him right now.

Echostar assigning her to lead a hunting patrol wasn't what cloudshadow expected. of course, she couldn't disobey their leader, so the she-cat slowly rolled back onto her stomach and stretched before standing back up. she hadn't seen her apprentice anywhere, otherwise cloudshadow would stick around and make sure cloverpaw found another warrior to train with. her bright eyes scanned the clusters of cats for a few cats to take on the hunting patrol. it wasn't common for her to be put in charge of anything, so she decided that she might as well make the most of it. after shaking the sand out of her spotted pelt, she padded towards the center of the clearing.

"feathersong and buzzardfang, care to join me on the hunting patrol?" cloudshadow asked, her tone full of mocking superiority. she paused, then looked once more around the camp."oh- and thrushpaw, you come as well, since we're suppose to have different apprentices. i don't think whitewing will mind,"the she-cat continued. four cats seemed like a good enough group to her. "we'll go to the smoother side of the river to fish, i heard the rapids were a bit unpredictable lately," cloudshadow instructed with a flick of her tail. maybe she'd be good at this in-charge thing after all.
