Midnight black wings swayed softly in the wind as the tall, sword-wielding figure to which they were attached stood poised atop a jagged cliff edge, panning his gaze out over the environment around him with eyes alight with curiosity. Yes, his kind were at war with the inhabitants of this world, but that didn't mean the landscapes were any less impressive. His memories took him back to Register Jungle and Login Mountain, and his pointed teeth parted to give access to the sigh pushing its way between his jaws. How he missed his world. Whatever it was that could have happened to force his kind into this foreign place, he would never know; all he wanted was to return home. Things could not always be so easy. It seemed that making peace with the locals was the only way to gain some stability. Unfortunately, the others were not so open to that idea.
Crow shook his head, discontented and relatively stressed. He backed away from his perch a few steps, gazing down the mountain face before diving over the side of the cliff with a running start. His wings filled with wind and carried him safely down to the foot of the massive stone structure. As a member of his kind's army, he should not have betrayed what was asked of him. He, however, could not fight blindly against these beings without knowing they would not happily welcome a truce. If the natives were hostile by nature, they would have no choice. Having a place to call home is a necessity for all creatures, and the Digimon had lost theirs. It was his hope that these beings might come to let them stay.

"You don't scare me!" piped Rusty, fur standing on end as he lowered his head and bared his less-than-intimidating fangs at the opposing Pancham. The little nuisance was trying to steal the fighting-type's berries, and so it was only natural that tempers would flare. Rusty looked for trouble everywhere he went, and it came in all shapes and sizes. This time, he had gotten himself in quite the jam, and he hadn't realized it until he took stock of the situation to recall the advantage the small bear had against him. Grumbling to himself, he reacted before his foe could, turning to kick up a cloud of dirt into the black-and-white Pokémon's eyes before peeling out to safety. "Pheh," he scoffed as he stopped to lick down a tuft of fur on his chest. "I could have taken him. I just didn't want to waste the effort!" This he said to whosoever was listening so that they would not deem him a coward. It was only his arrogance that made him assume anyone was watching, to begin with.

Within the forest, Yue could be seen seated upon the sturdy branch of a powerful tree, violet eyes dark with sorrow. She knew nothing of the world she had found herself in, and everywhere she went, she felt like an enemy. Despite her kind nature, she had been forced to choke down her rage in a few instances in which she had attempted to rest only to be chased from her spot by native creatures. Finally, it seemed, she had found a place where she could reflect on her situation. Trying her best to look on the bright side, she managed to flash a smile as the thought of finding a place in this world came to mind. But, in order to find a place, one must explore, and so the Renamon quickly and gracefully dismounted from her position to begin her trek through the forest. What she was looking for exactly, even she was unsure of. She just hoped that in time, this whole conflict would blow over.
