>> The sun had crested over the mountainous ridge, and the dinosaur lifted his head with a low, rumbling grunt as the golden light bathed the cliff side. He blinked his amber eyes, squinting against the impossibly bright light after just awaking from the peaceful oblivion known as sleep. He was a bit of a vagabond, though he despises being referred to as much, because he had no real home, and only wandered aimlessly among the land. On this day (and the previous few), he'd claimed a piece of the mountain ridge that stretched for at least a hundred miles across the land. So far, it would seem that it had been barren, sparing him of the conflicting actions between the digimon and the strange new race that had suddenly appeared from no where. Aladar liked it that way, he preferred to stay out of the war. To be honest, he kind of liked fighting, he enjoyed violence and action, but he found that he just wasn't himself when he battled. It was as if he turned into some sort of monster. He hated feeling that way, like his emotions abandoned him. He hated being able to kill and feel nothing. He may not have seemed like it, but he did have some sense of nobility to him.

After a while, allowing the sun to warm his rough blue-striped orange skin, Aladar rose to his feet, swishing his tail across the rocky ground behind him. He was hungry, and he hadn't eaten in days. He'd have to leave this safe haven soon and find something to eat, though the thought didn't please him. He hoped that maybe he'd be able to scurry across something easy to snag without much interaction between larger, more threatening creatures, but he'd have to face that fear at some point, though the idea discomforted him.
