Greystar had his eyes closed, deep I thought of the new deputy. Shrewnose is a swift hunter and a kind tom cat, but his weakness sure is in battle. he is kind with is good Greystar thought to himself as he sighed. All his warriors were worthy of the passion, but he just didn't know who to choose. Starclan would know the right choice, maybe they will lead him someone. As Greystar thought more, he jolted with the sound of a sweet voice. His eyes opened quickly as he saw a she cat beside him. Greystar chuckled at himself under his breath, he got scared from his lovey med cat. his eyes twitched as she smoke, asking him about his sleep. Good morning Morningshine he said with a happy tone, then he opened his moth to reply to her question. My sleep was good, not the best but good he said with a soft, gentle smile towards the she cat. And you? he asked Morningshine.

Chuckling softly at Greystar's reaction, she replied, "Yes, I had a fairly good sleep, thanks." She realized he had probably been deep in thought, and the medicine cat's sudden appearance had surprised him. Most likely thinking about who will be the deputy, she thought. All of the warriors are considerably worthy, it must be a difficult decision. Moving on from the simple greetings and chatter, she asked, "So... have you gotten any real progress in choosing the new deputy?" As she asked this, she began thinking about the day's duties - she was low on some herbs, and the stores needed a little cleaning. The den was getting cluttered and messy, and Morningshine was the type who needs things tidy to be able to concentrate.

Greystar's ears flickered as the she cat giggled at him. He rolled his eyes playfully, his tail tip twitching slightly. The nodded as he heard that Morningshine slept well. Then he looked around, and turned his head to the med cat. He really didn't know who to pick, but he was leaning to someone who was worthy of it. He spoke to her quickly, he didn't want any of the warrior knowing anything. That's what I was going to come down to you for He said quickly with a slight smile across his face. I don't have any real progress yet, all the warriors are suitable for the job. he said again, leaning to towards the she cat. This cat was nearly the only cat he could trust with his option. Who do you think would make a good deputy Morningshine? He asked the she cat, his eyes full of hope. Hope that Morningshine could help him decide.

⇉ Bearpaw had his eyes closed, enjoying the morning air, when a voice made him jump, and open his eyes. He glanced towards the sound and saw the other apprentice, Smallpaw. He couldn't help but smile a bit at her enthusiasm, and he moved himself into a sitting position, wrapping his tail over his paws. "Morning." he opened his mouth to respond to her question about how well he slept, but she spoke again. She asked him about how he slept, on a scale of one to ten. She then giggled, and he eyed her, wondering if it was a prank. He eventually flicked his ear and twitched his whiskers. "I'd say it was about.." he paused, thinking. "A ten." he watched her, before raising a paw, and licking it, drawing it over his ears. Once he was done, he looked at her. "How about you?"

Smallpaw smiled as the tabby tom answered her question, though he didn't look too fond if it. Smallpaws ears flattered slightly, then her ears flickered as she heard Bearpaw ask her the same question. Well, on a scale of one to ten... she said with a devilish tone. nine point five five five five five five... Smallpaw said five about twenty times before looking over to Bearpaw, with the "devil" in her eyes. Or I could just say ten... Smallpaw said. Silence wondered the air for a few moments before Smallpaw burst into complete laughter, stamping her paw on the ground with happiness. Her laugh started to dye down into a soft giggle, then she smiled widely at the tom. Sorry Bearpaw... She said, knowing most of the apprentices were fed up with her jokes. She was still partly a kit, really. Only becoming an apprentice a few moons ago. Her head hung low for a few moments before she picked it up again and looked over to Bearpaw with a slight, soft smile. Smallpaw watched Bearpaw, hoping he would laugh and forgive her... or just do something!

Swiftpaw never considered himself as an early bird. If anything he was quite the opposite. That morning he covered himself with some foliage and moss when the first rays of sunlight broke trough the den's opening. It was only when Smallpaw got up and tripped over the ledge (which he misplaced in front of the den) that Swiftpaw was awoken from his sleep. He turned to the other side hopeful for another dream to pass. But alas, it was time to get up; there was a whole day in front of him. He jumped to his paws still groggy and half asleep and got out of the den. He scratched a phantom itch from behind his ear looking more like a puppy than a cat. He shook his black patched pelt from the tiny speck of dirt and dust that he had gathered over the night and looked around to see who was up and who was still sleeping. It was no surprise that most of the clan was woken and ready for the beginning of the day. He spotted Hawkfeather conversing with one of the other apprentices, and yawned before walking over to him. "Good morning." he greeted quite enthusiastically awaiting to see what was the plan for the day.

Fawnpaw woke to light shining into the medicine cat apprentice's den, warming his back. He yawned like a tiger, his brown eyes shut tight. He'd like to fall asleep again, but he promised Morningshine, his mentor, that he would wake up early. Fawnpaw heard a rumbling coming from his white belly. Looking at himself, his pelt dirty and unkept, he licked it and his black-brown dappled tail. Stomach still growling, Fawnpaw padded out to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a juicy squirrel. Biting into it, he almost wished he had been a warrior, although he knew that the fawn at Morningshine's den was his sign. After wolfing down the squirrel he headed back to the medicine den, memorizing the cure for deathberries. Yarrow, yarrow, yarrow. Peering in, Fawnpaw could see that yarrow was running low, and turned around to find a warrior to help protect him.

⇉ Bearpaw watched in interest as the apprentice pondered the question, then responded with a nine point five. However, she mentioned five many times, to many for him to count. His amber eyes started to gleam when she began to laugh, then it slowly died away and she apologized to him. "No worries, Smallpaw." he grinned at her. He then proceeded to jab her lightly with one of his paws. "How's your training going?" he tilted his head, his ear flicking. He quickly took a moment to glance around the camp, to see if Hollyleaf was out and about, but when he didn't see her, he turned his attention back to Smallpaw, his amber eyes shining again. His attention was then drawn to the apprentices den when he saw Swiftpaw exit. He flicked an ear, looking back at Smallpaw.
