moonclan, "the lost clan". after a giant war between all four clans, thunder, shadow, river, and wind, only eight cats remained. most of these cats, all were from different clans. they knew what they had to do, but only two cat agreed. kicked out of the territory, the two cats, a deputy and a medicine cat, traveled to moonstones. a sign from the past medicine cats and deputies came along with this. they were told to travel to a new territory, and create a clan of the moon. thus is how moonclan became. now, you may be wondering why they are called the lost clan. this is so because the four clans never heard of them, and moonclan never heard of them. for all they know, the four clans could be running again. since they were told to be the clan of the moon, they somehow knew where to head, and along the way the collected a few... maybe a whole clan of cats. they moved into the dunes of the sundrowned place, in dens like the badger, mdnight's, den.
now, it has been over three hundred moons, and they are still running strong. of course, they have other ways of hunting then fishing eggs and such out of tide pools. a forest is also surrounding it too. the perfect combination of life is within these cats, but there is something odd about them. called moonclan after what starclan told them, they have always been different from every cat. they were granted the ability of every cat from each clan- including skyclan. so, strong haunches, excellent fishing and running skills, the ability to climb trees and hunt them easily, and a unique sneaking skill. some possess more of one trait than others, but they are all the same along the lines of skills. once a moon, on a full moon, the whole clan goes to one cave in the dunes where the moon shines directly on a ledge. the leader tells things about the clan that other may not have known about, and pretty much recaps what happened that moon. so, that's moonclan. the clan of wonders, "the lost clan".
