the grey brute bit down on the rabbits neck, feeling the spine crunch and rich, warm blood fill his mouth. he dropped the unfortunate rodent, placing a paw on its loosened head and tearing a chunk off of its rump, lifting his head and swallowing greedily. the ragnok beta swished his tail, lying on his belly to finish off the carcass. he licked his bloodstained maw and howled, listening for an answer.

S O L V E I G { Ragnok Fighter | 1 1/2 years old | With: no one }
Solveig had been sleeping, but awoke at the sound of Swindle's howl. Trying to sleep here! She thought, annoyed. Still, Sol howled in answer and then got up, stretching. She trotted into the forest, sniffing the air to try and catch the scent of another animal; hopefully prey. Instead, Solveig came upon a stream. She splashed through it, turning into her human form half way through. She yelped; the water felt much colder when there wasn't warm fur to keep it from touching skin. Sol danced out of the stream and promptly fell down onto the warm grass, sun shining on pale skin. She laughed, reaching her human arms up and feeling for the sun. Solveig turned back into a wolf and scampered off again, laughing. She felt happy that day for some reason, and kept running through the woods until she reached a cliff over-looking the clearing which they were all fighting over. It was as if it had been cursed; the place was practically deserted. She couldn't even hear any of the noises of forest life, which was unsettling. Solveig grimaced, turning away; happy mood gone.

Soren had gotten up a little before the sun rose, as usual. Although few wolves noticed him, he still liked to get up before most of his pack was anyways. Better safe than sorry. Now, the sun had just come above the peaks of the mountains in the distance. The forest air was cold and clear, and he loved that pale color the sky turned in the morning. Morning was definitely his favorite time of day. He was probably at least mile from the pack's camp, but he had still remained in wolf form just in case he was spotted. It wasn't that big of a deal to shift, but visiting the village without telling anyone or really for a good reason would raise a few flags. Crouching behind a rock, his legs lengthened, his snout and ears shrinking into his head. He stood up slowly. Even though he transformed often, the first few seconds were always disorienting. His vision quickly cleared and his legs stopped wobbling, and he swiftly set off to the human village. He was along the edges of the forest by the houses in no time. Reaching into his pocket, he found a few gold coins, and set out to the bakery. After a while, he had honestly started to enjoy the taste of bread and other human food more than raw meat.

Peter was humming a tune as he put on his oven mitts. He opened the oven and inhaled, taking in the wonderful aroma of the recently-baked bread. He loved the smell of it and he reached out and took the tray, careful not to burn himself or to drop the tray. He quickly put it down on the cooling tray before putting another batch in. It would be another while before the newer batch finished baking, and another few minutes for the bread to cool, so he took off his mitts and walked out of the kitchen, out into the main store, where all the bread was on display. He preferred it in the store, since it was cooler and the sunlight was brighter. It was still early in the day, and he loved the colour of the sky, light blue with a bit of orange from the sunrise. Perhaps someone would wander in with the aim of breakfast, he thought as he took his place behind the counter.

→ SANSA, though she tries, can't help but follow he scent of bread. As a human, it was good, though as a wolf it was just like eating mats of fur. Sansa lifts her nose into the air, breathing deeply. It smells so good... but what kind of example would she be setting for the others if she stole it? But, what if she went as her human form? No, no, humans require money for things, she remembers. Odd system they have. Sansa's ears twitch, taking in the sounds of the surrounding area. All of the others were deep in the territory, socializing or hunting, she knows. Oh, what the heck. Sansa shifts into her human form, taking a moment to adjust to two legs. Balancing herself, she follows the scent of the food to a building,"The store", the villagers called it. Sansa notices a human behind the bar of wood (a counter, she reminds herself.) "Smells wonderful in here," she comments as she walks farther.
