Shinesong nods, "Yes, mother. A walk would be nice." She says, flicking her tail. The young queen rises to her paws, knowing by the time this walk ended her paws would be aching. She smiles slightly, taking small, light steps towards the rather large hollow to exit the camp. She slides under it, slipping through the entrance. She was out of the camp in a matter of seconds, but it still felt like forever since she had been out. She took walks with her mother every once in a while, so it was nice to get out for a change. She sighs, taking a breath of the fresh green-leaf air. It felt good in her lungs as she paused for a moment, taking in her surroundings. Birds cheeped and cawed in the trees, talking to each other in their own languages of which the young she-cat would never know. She stepped right on a twig, hearing the terrified caws of birds, and the flutter of wings as they take off, away from the she-cat and her mother.

Lizardstrike smiles, "Alright, Softbreeze. I'll be off. Like I said, I'll come visit later, but may you ever need, something, I will always be back. Just call for me and I will be at your disposal." He murmurs, nodding to her respectfully. "I will be on my way, no. See you around." He says, trotting from her. He pads to he fresh kill pile, seeing it was quite low. Sighing, he hears his belly rumble. It was loud and clear, showing he had missed a meal that night before, so he could feed the queens and elders, then he allowed Hawkstar and the apprentices to eat, then the warriors, and by that time there was barely a mouse tail left, so by the time he went to get some, after a chat with Softbreeze, nothing was left but a few pieces, which he brought one to Softbreeze. Then, he was just tired so he went to bed. Now, there were a few pieces left from last night, but they were stale. He sighs, padding from camp, slipping out just behind Wrenchest and Shinesong. He pad right by them, looking at her softly as she steps on a twig. "Be careful, dear." He says, trotting deep into the thickets and trees. He scents the air, smirking as a musky, yet nutty smell enters his nose. His eyes brighten, and he drops into a crouch, checking that he was down wind. Then, he spotted it, a giant, plump squirrel. His mouth practically watered! He takes small, light steps, assuring himself he was doing great. When he was less than a mouse length away, he pushes off the ground. The small rodent starts to take off, but he had been to fast. The small thing was dead in moments. In a whisper, he says, "Thank you Starclan for this prey. We honor you as you continuously bring us prey day after day to keep our bellies full both day and night." He stands up, burying the prey under some leaves between two roots. He then scents the air again.
