Rumour was somewhat startled, being awoken by Prince Charming's voice. She opened her eyes, but settled once more when she realized who it was. ''Oh, hi'' she said softly, running her eye down his muscular frame. What? She couldn't help it! She smiled in the morning sun, rising too her feet. She stretched and yawned, before turning her attention back to the other loner. She couldn't help but notice his muscular frame once she'd woken up to it and smiled again. It sent a strange, warm feeling in her, which annoyed her - she was a loner, surely she should be tough, not have warm fluffy feelings inside her when she see's a nice looking dog with a good personality. She mentally checked herself and proceeded with the greeting '' how are you this fine day, my friend?'' she asked, sounding rather posh.

"i'm good, and how are you?" he asked. he looked to the side and saw another dumpster, "wait here." he said and went to the dumpster. he came out with a piece of meat. he pushed it over to rumor with a smirk and ate his. he sat down near her and looked at her goldish eyes, they also shined in the sun light. he smiled warmingly and started to eat his. he looked at the fence, "i'm sorry if i woke you, but you looked half awake and i wanted to make sure you were okay." he said, she looked like she was moving but at the same time hiding from the sun. the sun, the sun was the worst part of waking up. eugh, that brightness.. it was just awful. "has the pack been alright?" he asked wondering about all of the members, including herself. he cared about everyone.

'' Well, i've been uh, a bit lonely to be honest'' she said with a smile '' thanks'' she said, tucking into the meat. She had been hungry but recently she had become very lonely and couldn't muster up the effort or motivation to go out. '' I think they have. I haven't stayed very close to the packs, to be honest'' she looked down at her paws. '' But i'm sure THEY are planning something'' she said, gesturing behind her to where voices had been heard minutes ago. She looked at him, and not just appreciating his looks but also his caring traits.

"ah. well i'm here, and maybe we could go see the pack sometime. everybody loves you, ya know?" he said and smiled looking at her, "yep. they never stop planning." he said and sighed. he smiled at rumor and gave her a caring look. he looked at the fence hearing chatter. "too be honest, i think that pack is not very nice. jigsaw is the alphas name i believe, he's very rough on the pack, as for holly i don't know. she's probably not the nicest either if she's with that hot shot.." he whispered in a low voice trying to keep quiet. "are you okay dear? you look worried." he said and sat closer to rumor. she looke nervous and worried. "it's okay if you are, i'm here." he said quietly and calmly to rumor.

''Thanks, i'm glad you think that'' she smiled, her face lighting up slightly. ''Well, there's this one thing...'' she said, with a smile '' I don't have motivation to hunt anymore. I'm hungry but I can't get any food'' she blushed, embarrassed '' I feel vulnerable, out there on my own. Ah, what kind of loner am I!?'' she said out loud. ''Oh, I shouldn't burden you with this'' she said, looking into his eyes. She peered around just to make sure no one had heard her, and shook her head at herself '' I'm a fail, aren't I?'' she asked him. She had become rather depressed over the weeks, slowly thinking worse of her self.

"no dear, no." he said in sorrow. he nuzzled her maw, "come on now. keep your chin up." he said and took a breath, "your not a fail. you just need a friend." he said and looked at her. he was thinking of what he could do. he looked out into the woods near the territory of farraway pack grounds. "let's go hunt, it will be fun deary." he said and started to get up. "i'm sure i'm better than you." he said and winked just being playful to see if that would motivate her to try harder. he nuzzled her and then walked aways, "come on." he said hoping that she would come. rumor was a great dog, but she needed to get out there. get some fresh air rather than the dump smell. most dogs got used to the smell, but it still was not the best, nor near the best. he started out a bit more, looking back still hoping she would come.

She smiled '' You really want to spend time, with me?'' she asked. As he play challenged her, she retorted ''you're on!'' happily. She rose to her feet slowly, but trotted after him with a sudden spurt of speed, looking forward to some food. As she left the stench of the dumpster she took a huge sigh of relief. For fresh air, for a friend, for food. She looked around and smiled at the brute. She was glad that someone appreciated her. Her tail wagged slowly for the first time in weeks, and she was so grateful to Prince Charming.

-----copper responded to aspen's show of affection by draping his tail over hers. he hardly remembered the days before aspen; they all seemed grey and dreary. his mate brought a spark back into his life, and he was forever grateful for her support. copper doubted he would have made it to beta status without aspen by his side, and he knew they were a powerful team, always working in tangence to bring the best out of each other for the sake of the pack.

-----the golden lab grinned at aspen's eagerness and excitement, saying jokingly, "save some of that fun for me," then licked her ear once before standing and shaking his fur out. copper trotted towards the hallway leading to the rooms of the rest of the farraway pack, all probably asleep in their nests. the beta turned to his mate and smiled. "shall we?"

"yes. of course i do." he said and smiled when she began to talk. he bursted out running and ran and rolled down the green area. he sniffed about, his tail wagging because rumor's tail was. he smelled a rabbit not too far away. he ate rabbits often because he couldn't find much else. he jumped off, seeing the rabbit in site he ran with a splash of energy and caught it in his mouth. it was probably his second catch of the week it seemed. the blood dripped down and splashed on the ground. "that's one for me, can you beat me?" he asked and smirked playfully. he tried writing there names in the ground, but it looked like a messy scribble. he smirked anyways and waited for rumor.
