Far up North, there is a place where boot prints in the snow do not exist. The lands are untouched by humans, they have never discovered the wolves' territory, for it was tucked away. The foolish people were unable to ruin the domain by tearing down trees and tossing around garbage, the wolves would not let this place rot in the damage. They would never be able to stand the sight of freshly-cut tree stumps, tin cans, and large cement buildings claiming their lands. They could not bear to see the world's beautiful creation be spoiled and stepped on with the deep imprint of a human's boot. Never would the two-legs step and cross through these hills, the only prints to be seen would be those of paw pads and claws. That's the signature of the Kings and Queens of the animals in this part of the globe. They are served by deer, antelope, hoof prints in the snow. Along with small, fuzzy paws of rabbits and moles. This is the wolves' world. They rule.
The seasons go in order of Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. Seasons will change with real life seasons or not, we'll just see how it goes. I will always update the weather and let everyone know what's going on. Currently: Winter.
• It is Summer, but don't expect clear blue skies. Snow has melted into a measurement of only one foot tall, and in some cases the grass even pokes out if the sun is generous. There is no need to hide under trees for shade, because the sky is still crowded with clouds though there are cracks here and there to let some more light in. Summer is the brightest season up here, and is the time when pups are old enough to learn to hunt. It's the perfect season for the little ones to take down their first prey with the help of others, because the snow is not up to their noses as it would be in Winter. Females are not in heat, however Summer is the time where most families spend time together than the other seasons. Pups bring mates much closer and families usually pay more attention to their kin than the pack, so Summer is also the time when wolves are disrespectful to the Alpha the most. High ranks tend to go easier on them, knowing the pack is overall more aggressive to each other in order to protect their families and show their loyalty to them.
• Ah, Spring. The time when pups are born and whatever flowers are there, bloom. It is the time when the air is fresh and life sprouts from everywhere, mainly blossoms on trees are the only flowers to see but it doesn't change the fact that it is a beautiful season. It is the time when hunting is most plentiful, for the deer herd travel into the territory and fawns are everywhere to be seen, often getting lost in deep banks of snow and freezing to death, preserving a good meal for a wolf or two. It is also the time when the herds are most aggressive, protecting the young, but this also causes them to tire out. If the wolves waited long enough, they would push even the healthiest of elk or deer to exhaustion. Newborn pups are fattened up and therefore grow strong, while pups in which this is their second spring are no longer considered pups. At the age of one year, they receive the rank they have been training for, and do not go into the Invisible wolf rank.
• Falling leaves are all around, giving this season it's name, Fall, also known as Autumn. This is the time when pups with this as their first Fall, start their training for a specific rank. They are trained by the Alpha, Beta, or Delta, the Alpha will choose who helps the pup depending on their strengths and what they specialize in. In some cases, the pup will be trained by a wolf who has that rank, as an example, let's say the pup was training to be a Security wolf, the pup would be trained by a Security wolf. Prey is not rare but not plentiful either, and this is the time when the water begins to freeze. Slow flowing rivers are fully ice from the middle of Fall to the end of Winter, while fast-flowing rivers are still liquid. Fall in the transition into chillier weather, and in Fall through Winter until the first days of Spring the pack usually chooses to sleep together in order to conserve body heat.
• Though snow is always around in these lands, Winter lets the land get an even thicker blanket of it. With a minimum of four-foot deep snow, this season is the toughest, harshest time of all the year. You can expect a blizzard every day at this time, usually only lasting about 1-2 hours. Getting snowed-in dens happen around 2-4 times annualy, and Winter is the cause of one third of the pack's deaths. Prey more scarce than usual, wolves starve, freeze to death mainly through the night, and some die when getting snowed-in their dens when being unable to dig themselves out. Despite this being a season with many tragic events, it is also the most romantic time while the snow is falling. Because Winter nights are longer than Summer's, the moon shines beautifully and the clouds seem to part away from it, letting it be seen. The Mating Moon, which is in the middle of Winter, is when wolves come together to pair up hopefully for life and become a family together. It is when all wolves behave their best, and also the time known for wolves bragging, showing off their skills to attract a a mate. The Mating Moon is not necessarily an occasion when wolves breed right away, but more as a time that brings pairs together on a "date" and lets them get to know each other much closely. The Mating Moon lasts for up to four days, wolves usually stay in the area where the Mating Moon takes place until they become close enough to their partner. Of course, not all wolves will find a mate, and not all need to go any further than dating. It isn't rare for only a few females to be pregnant after the Mating Moon, the Mating Moon was created only to bring couples together to gaze at the full moon at it's best, when it comes closest to the earth and is definitely an astonishing sight. Wolves may only breed in Winter and not any other season, and their pups would be born in Spring. With already born pups, they are almost as big as their parents and can bring down a full grown deer with the help of only one or two pals. They do not take part in the Mating Moon, as they are nowhere near that stage. For pups who experience their first Winter, they would have to wait until next year's until they could participate, by that time they would reach maturity.

You may break these rules, but your wolf may be punished.
- All wolves must take part in the Mating Moon, other than pups in which this would be their first Winter. Pups must wait until their second Winter until they may participate. Wolves do not have to get into any relationship, but are required to show up even if not interested. The Mating Moon, though brings romantic couples together, also binds the pack closer and lets the wolves bond with each other, romantically or not.
- It is forbidden to mate with a Loner. Loners are always welcome to join the pack, if not hostile, but pack members may never mate with Loners until they become a part of the pack. Mating with a Loner is punishable by being cast out of the pack and most likely not welcomed back.
- If a Loner is found, immediately give out a warning call. Not howling out a warning call is punishable by up to a week of Omega treatment. When a Loner is found, remain with them and do not loose contact with them, stay until the appropriate wolves, such as the Security wolves or a high ranking wolf such as Alpha, Beta, or Delta, come and are there to take care of the situation.
-Always obey higher ranking wolves. Do as they say and go through submissive rituals unless otherwise stated by that particular high-ranking wolf. Never display dominance directly towards a higher ranking, however it is fine to dominate a lower ranking in front of a higher ranking, as long as there is only dominance to the lower ranking and not the higher. Punishable by a bite or hard push.
- Never exit the territory boundaries without the Alpha, Beta, or Delta knowing, in which the Beta or Delta will immediately inform the Alpha. Punishable by torment of up to two days, less brutal than the Omega treatment
- Omegas are not to be treated better than anyone else. An Omega may not submit nor dominate a fellow Omega. All Omegas are equally the lowest rankings of the pack, and higher rankings may not treat them better than what they deserve. They are Omegas for a reason, but always have the chance of escaping the dreadful rank. Because of that always open rank to any Omega, any wolf treating an Omega well will be punished by being demoted by the Alpha by one rank. They may work their way up again. An example of this is... Joe is the Delta. Joe speaks nicely to an Omega and treats them as any other wolf, and Joe gets put down to a lower rank, one rank down which would be a Security wolf. The Delta spot is reserved for Joe until he proves himself worthy of it again, however if Joe tells the Alpha he wishes to stay with the Security wolf rank, the Delta spot will become open and Joe will have to fight with whatever wolf that is the new Delta to take back the rank.
- Never fight in front of pups. Pups are one year or younger, any wolf older is okay to witness a battle. When a battle for ranks takes place, the winner gets the higher rank and the loser gets the lower one. An example... Joe wants the Delta rank, and he is a Security wolf. Amy, the Delta, does not want to give him her spot. So they fight. Joe wins, so he becomes Delta and Amy becomes a Security wolf. But what if Joe lost? If Joe lost, he would still be a Security wolf and Amy would have successfully guarded her rank. Rank fights are forbidden to be with a Loner. Loners may not do such rank-battles, as that is not the way they are accepted.
- Accepted Loners are immediately put into the "Invisible wolf" rank. They are to be treated like nothing, they may be pushed around and picked on to determine their strengths. However, in a short time the Alpha gives the accepted Loner a type of test, such as hunting or fighting someone willing, to find their strengths and see what rank would fit them, along with what the Loners may choose.
- Any rank changes must be known by the Alpha. If the Alpha does not agree, even if there was a winner of a fight, the ranks remain however the Alpha chooses. The Alpha may change the ranks of the wolves if they wish.
Do not break these rules.
- Do not break these rules. If you break a rule you get a warning. If you break the same rule a second time, I will ask you to leave the roleplay. However, if you broke a rule, you'd get a warning. If you broke a rule a second time but a different rule, I will give you another warning. If you break any third rule, you will be asked to leave. If you have any questions about the following rules, PM me and I'll gladly explain.
- This is a semi-literate RP, so the minimum post is one large paragraph (6-7 sentences), even if you have a writer's block, per character. I'd like longer if you can, this RP is aimed more towards the experienced writers, but you don't need to write as if it's a book c: Also correct spelling and grammar should be used, but if you spell something wrong it's okay, I just don't want to see 50 errors in one post. If you can't handle this, this probably isn't the RP for you, sorry.
- For writing out of character, use [], {}, (), (()), OOC:, or anything else that makes it clear you are not in character when you are OOC. This is a simple thing to do, so please just do it.
- Put as much information as you like on your form(s), make it pretty, and use your own c:
- For ranks, choose a spot that isn't taken. I will reserve ranks for as long as you need, however please do not reserve something and never return. That closes the opportunity for others, and you need to be active. Don't come and leave. I will send out PMs for reminders if you've been inactive for quite a while, however so far I will not be kicking anyone out for being inactive. I do have the right to ask you to not post here again if you break a rule or don't reply to any posts or PMs. I will not remove you if you tell me, or mention a vacation from CS in your signature. I also know if you've logged on or not, so if you've logged on but haven't replied to anything for a long time you can wave good by to this roleplay.
-Fights. No killing or injuring another user's wolf without their permission, this means you can't make a different character faint from blood loss or make them blind without that person letting you. You may not even let the other character bleed one drop of blood unless the user lets you, and please say so if they did so I know. You are also not allowed to say "She bite him so hard she was sure he would howl in pain." You can say: "She bite him hard, she knew that if it was herself getting bitten like that she'd howl in pain." Another thing, do not say "A normal wolf would tremble in pain, but not Bob. He was so strong it didn't affect him in the slightest." Sure, your wolf can win a bit, but let them lose a bit too. You win some, you loose some. No powerplaying, and no wolf is perfect.
- Instead of having a limit of the amount of characters, I have a limit of the amount of users. I will only accept five (including me) roleplayers to take part, whom may have as many characters as they choose. If you choose to quit, please let me know by PM and tell me how you'd like us to deal with your characters. If you quit, your wolves will be no longer part of the pack and you will get to decide whether they have done something horrible and were cast out of the pack, killed from an accident or fight, or died from age. You will get to choose how your characters go, but if you do not tell us how you'd like them gone within a week of quitting, they would just die of age.
- Try not to say something like "Joe knew Bob was a bad fighter." Instead, try to write this "Joe thought Bob was a bad fighter." Still, try to stay away from insults like that, though your character may fight and call names, just don't go overboard and don't insult a user.
- Don't do any massive changes or plot twists without my 'okay'. If you would like the weather to change, tell me OOC and I'll think about it, most likely I will say yes. I just need you to ask because it wouldn't work too well if one second it was a blizzard and a minute later it was clear skies. It just doesn't make sense. If there's a blizzard, it can eventually turn into clear-skies weather, but I still need to know.
- Try not to involve humans into this roleplay. Maybe in your wolf's past they were kept captive, but not in this territory. I don't want hunters here when the plot is based around the land being untouched by humans.
- When two characters fight and a winner is determined, they may not switch ranks without both users' 'okay'. Try to be fair about it, if your wolf looses a fight, accept it and move on. They may eventually get it back.
- Because I will only accept five users, your wolves may be mates with each other. Just keep in mind it's much more fun to interact with other users' characters, rather than playing with yourself all the time.

In order from highest ranking to lowest. Top is highest, bottom is lowest.
When eating, the highest ranking wolves eat first, going down to the lowest. Loners are not given food until accepted into the pack. If Amy, a Beta, was eating and had pups, she may take extra for her pups before their turn but if questioned by the Alpha she must put it back. It is not forbidden to take more then you need, but the pack does not take kindly to greedy wolves and if questioned by a higher rank, the wolf who took more than needed must give the proper amount back and are forbidden to fight physically about it.
Alpha - Their word is law, and they are the ones who give punishments to wolves who break pack laws. They are the most honoured, they make all the big decisions and are given the most respect. They can organize or stop anything they want, and assign trainers to pups as well as accepted Loners into the pack. Accepting 2.
Beta - The Betas are the second-in-command wolves, and often are the most trustworthy for the Alphas and usually friends with them. They make smaller decisions and can organize hunts, but not fights. Though they are highly respected, they must go through the Alphas for making a big decision such as whether or not a Loner gets accepted or how a pup will train. They may not punish wolves, but any wolf can dominate a lower ranking. Dominating includes biting, kicking, pushing, and stepping on them. Accepting 2.
Delta - Lower than the Betas but still a high rank, they may organize hunts and train pups with the 'okay' of the Alphas. They deal with fights between pack members and settle arguments, they try to calm the wolves down and are the 'peace keepers' of the pack. They may not punish wolves, but can dominate a lower ranking just like any other wolf in the pack. Accepting 1.
Security Wolves - The ones who excel in fighting are the ones who patrol the borders and mark the territory. They are most depended on during war, and most happen to be tougher wolves who can withstand harsh treatment. They do not hunt often, and rather guard the pack. Because they are the protectors of the wolves, they are respected well. Accepting an unlimited amount.
Hunters - Only a slightly lower ranking than Security wolves, Hunters provide the pack with food. Though all wolves are recommended to participate in hunts, Hunters do most of the work on feeding the wolves. Though they do not have to share a deer or anything smaller in any season except for Winter, they must howl out to the pack if they have caught something bigger than a deer to let the pack share. In Winter, however, even deer is meant to be shared because prey is scare. Anything smaller than a full-grown deer does not have to be shared, and the prey's killer may defend it from the other pack members if they wish, though not to higher rankings. If they defend food against, say a Beta, a fight will break out and the victor keeps the food. With a higher ranking, if the killer manages to defeat a higher wolf, they take up the wolf's spot. Example... Joe, a Hunter, defends the rabbit he caught from Amy, the Beta. He successfully guards the rabbit and Amy slinks away, the looser of the fight. Joe is now Beta. If Amy won, she would still be Beta and Joe would have to give her his catch. Now, let's say Amy catches a rabbit and Joe, a Hunter, wants it. He challenges her. If he wins and gets the rabbit, he becomes Beta. If Amy wins, Joe must leave her alone and she remains the Beta. Accepting an unlimited amount.
Pups, Wolves in Training - They don't exactly have respect from others, because they are still developing. The Alpha assigns wolves to train the pups for whatever rank in which they excel in. Once one year old, the pups are given their ranks and are no longer considered pups, but rather just wolves. Accepting an unlimited amount.
Invisible Wolves - Only newly accepted Loners and wolves whom are no longer Omegas are given this rank, and are constantly tested by the Alpha, to determine what rank they would be best in. They may be treated badly and with no respect, but it is not forbidden or punishable to be nice to a wolf of such rank. Accepting an unlimited amount, however your character may not start out as an Invisible wolf. For an example, let's say Joe is a new character. He may not start roleplaying as an Invisible wolf, his user must first play him as a Loner until he is accepted into the pack, in character. But if Joe was an Omega, he would have to be roleplayed as an Omega and earn the Invisible wolf rank first. Accepting an unlimited amount.
Omegas - Treated worst of all, the Omegas are not allowed to be treated well. This is because they always have the option of escaping the rank, so at no given time should any wolf be nice to them. To get out of this dreaded rank, they must first pass a test given by the Alpha. At any time an Omega may approach the Alpha and ask for such a test, and it is forbidden for the Alpha not to give the Omega an unlimited amount of chances. Once the test is complete, if the Omega failed they have the option of taking another test or going back to the Omega rank. If they passed the test, they become an Invisible wolf and are tested some more, but not put back as an Omega unless they want to, their strengths are found and are given a suitable rank. Accepting 4.
Loners - Not part of the pack at all, pack wolves have the right to treat them worse than an Omega. To join the pack, a Loner does not have to pass a test, but rather has to seem kind and give not many hints of hostility. If trustworthy, the Alpha will accept them and give them the Invisible wolf rank, and determine their strengths to fit them with the proper rank for each individual. Accepting an unlimited amount.
