Beltza padded through the plains, her black, shadowy figure standing out against the greenish-yellow grass. She saw another creature. A lion, perhaps. She approached it from the side where he could not see her and turned her head slightly. The cat had not known that the animal was a "red-tag", so she stretched her arm out and quickly put her paw on it to see if if was alive. She jerked it back, not wanting to make him angry.

Jumbai felt something touch him. And the lion had sharp senses, knowing if anything was near. His eyes flashed open and he turned his head in the grass, seeing another cat. He flicked his ears and rose to his paws. The lion looked down at the black panther.
Belza saw the creature rise and instantly she flinched. Stepping back, she saw the animal's eyes staring down at her. She hesitated, making the words,"Oh, hello,"escape from her mouth, slightly gaping.
Jumbai swished his tail and replied slowly, "hello." Jumbai was in a slightly good mood, so he wasn't going to snap at the panther. When the panther first poked him, he thought it was a human was about to attack until he realized it was just her. He looked down, noticing her slightly gaping.
Beltza closed her mouth that was open only a little. She picked her head off of her shoulders, knowing that this cat was not in a bad mood. She knew she probably would be laying there, dead, if she caught him in a bad one."I'm Beltza."She said, looking up at him. The tone of Beltza's voice was friendly.
Jumbai flicked his ears and replied, "I'm Jumbai." He was keeping his tone even, and trying to sound friendly. Jumbai only got to go out into the plains probably every four weeks, from his bad behavior with the humans that gave him lack of socialization with the others. Beltza seemed like a friendly cat, though, and since her tag didn't show any aggression, she probably didn't bother the humans a lot.
Beltza saw that Jumbai's tag was red. But why was he being so friendly? She thought, looking down at the earth beneath her for a few seconds. She looked back up at him."Do you like the humans?"She asked, trying not to get too comfortable or to intrude knowing that any second his current personality could break and crumble down, replacing with a fierce personality which would originally belong to a big lion like him.
Jumbai's voice turned quite cold when she asked the question. He shook his head and growled grimly, "no. I hate them." He didn't know if she liked them or not, but to him, humans were like hyenas trying to steal a lion's catch. Pesky, annoying, and always determined.
