I turned towards Renny's voice and I smiled a hello towards her, then slid away following the dry dirt path. After getting about 20 metres from the barn I broke into a light run, it felt good to stretch my legs across the ground, I picked up the pace and started to sprint. As I did so I felt the sweat drip down my spine, I sped up as much as I could and before I knew I was at my limit. The wind hit my face and spread down my body cooling the sweat giving me a cooling sensation. I opened my mouth and let my tounge hang out I began to pant, I slowed down when the barn was completely out of view. Stopping suddenly, I looked behind me to make sure someone wasn't following me. I smiled to myself and began to walk along the dirt. I looked at the sky and was mezmerized by the sunrise, I cocked my head to the side and grinned. I listened the serenity. Complete silence. "How's the serenity..." I breathed, taking detail of the landscape and the sky.

Rin stood still as Aliza turned her lean frame towards him. Her silhouette faded into the shadows, revealing the intricate details on her face and fur. She had stunning eyes, painted with deep burgundy and dark gold. Her face retained a somewhat bewildered expression as she studied the male. He shifted his wait to the front of his frame before padding a little closer to the expectant female. "Yes, Rin?" She inquired mystically. Rin's neutral expression transformed into a thin lipped smile before he tested her name once again. "Aliza." The appellation of another being felt oddly comfortable on his tongue; it tasted sweet, like success, like adventure. Like a world waiting to explored. "Do I need a reason to talk to you?" He inquired with child-like innocence. It was indeed an unusual thing for Rin say... but after all, this was all about recreating himself. His usual mediocre self was still lumbering down the streets somewhere, lost as ever. He was sure of it. For now, he could humor his tender-hearted, eager alternate. It was no mystery that the two halves would meet again someday.

The blistering heat pounded against his spine. It was uncomfortable to the extent he was not looking forward to going on patrol in the unforgiving heat. Would company make the four hours drag on, or speed by? Would it be rude to ask someone else to endure this fiery torture along with him, for the sake of companionship? Rin shifted were he stood once more. That was one thing about being alone: you don't have to worry about right or wrong. You can set your own limits, break your own barriers. There are no people to impress in the presence of your own self. Unlike here, in the presence of another. Suddenly there were common areas, unspoken rules for social interactions. So much uncertainty for a single added entity. It was a curious thing.

⊱ Yet again. Yet again the little tan and white female had woken up late, when the sun was already stretching itself into the sky and greeting the world with its golden fingers, reaching down on the land and bringing out all the life that had slept the night away. The big brown eyes had opened slowly and immediately widened. The sun was too high. She was going to get called out on her lazy behavior. The little body was instantly in action. As soon as she was up, the thin tail behind her began to wag. Her body was still sore from the previous night. The yearling had been attempting to train herself in hunting, but had so far been rather unsuccessful. She just didn't know what she was doing wrong. Most looked at her and said the muscular body would be better with fighting, but Perla had trouble telling herself to harm another. Prey was easier. It was vital to the pack's survival. But now, she was waking up later because she had stayed up through the night attempting to impress whoever ranked above her, trying to get a handle on one skill instead of being awful at most things.

The strong legs carried the thick body out of the house and into the baking sun. Luckily, her fur was short enough that the heat from the summer didn't affect her so much as the thicker-coated dogs. That meant she could endure longer and was a good asset, if she could only figure out the right time to wait or leap. Even so, her fat tongue immediately protruded from her lovely maw, saliva already dripping into the grass.

It didn't take Perla long to find who she wanted to find. Ruger was standing with Remmy, and as she approached, she could sense the mild awkwardness in their words, but of course didn't know what it was from. Her tail wagged, and those big eyes took them both in in turn. First Remmy, thinking how miserable she must be in the heat. Second Ruger, eyes dancing over the multitude of spots. "I hope I'm not too late to tag along," she breathed. If there was someone to learn from, it was these dogs - the hunters of the pack. Hopefully in their company, she would soon be able to join their ranks. If not... Well, she might never become a functioning member of her family. And that's what she longed for.

Chance sighed and paused briefly to stretch, sticking his rump in the air and stretching his forelegs out before him as far as they would go. Bella, who had been literally running circles around her father, paused and tipped her head curiously as she watched him. After a moment, she mimicked the movement, sitting up only when he did. Chuckling, the German shepherd grinned down at the pup with pure fatherly affection. "Race ya to the field, sprite." He challenged playfully. Bella was off instantly and he followed, keeping a pace or so behind. After all, what kind of gentle-pooch would he be if he didn't let the young lady win? However because he was focused more on Isabella and less on their surroundings he didn't see Sky in time and with the force of a small torpedo Bella flew into the collie, bounced back, and promptly began to wail at her bruised snout. "Are you okay?" Chance barked, picking Bella up and setting her on her paws even as he addressed the question to Sky.

I grunted and felt a hard shove from behind, I toppled over to see Bella and Chance standing there. I looked over to Bella who was rubbing her nose, I laughed and wagged my tail. I got up and shook the dirt off my painted coat, I glanced towards Chance with my crystal blue eyes the sun glinted in them. I suddenly snapped back into reality, forgetting about his question. "Oh yeah i'm fine," I said with a reassuring smile. I turned towards Bella who was wailing about her snout. "Sorry Bella I didn't realize I was in your way," I
apologized trying not to make the blame all on her. Shaking my coat again I stretched my back and my legs as they were a bit achy from the hit and the morning. "So Chance what brings you and Bella out to this lovely place of serenity?" I asked feeling the hot sun heating my back.

Bella perked up a bit, focusing large baby blue eyes on the dog. It was a strange color for a darker colored shepherd. Most blue-eyed shepherds where snow white but both Chance and her mother, a prize winning show dog named Marilyn Monroe (Mari for short) had been carefully bred to have special traits uncommon in German Shepherds. "Papa says he's gonna teach me to hunt." She chirped happily.
Chance frowned at the pup. "I said when you're older." He corrected earning a sullen scowl. "What about you, Sky?"

I smiled at Bella, she was just so adorable with her big blue eyes. They were kind of like mine but maybe a bit darker. I turned towards Chancellor looking at him with my blue eyes. "Oh I just came out here for some exercise," I responded. I shifted from paw to paw a little uneasy, I hadn't really talked to Chance and Bella before and I wanted to make a good first impression
