- - - - - "Russetstar was talking to Silentstar." She said sitting down in front of her. "They were arguing or anything." she informed hoping the deputy would believe her. "Actually, they were smiling at each other." She finally noticing the two toms.

Ashtail blinked in surprise at the apprentice's sudden appearance and stepped forward to stand at Redpool's shoulder. It was as if a switch had been triggered and suddenly he was all business. "Any chance you caught what they were saying?" He meowed, tipping his head to the side and staring at her intently from hard blue eyes.

She informed with honesty in her eyes. "They seemed like normal friends, maybe more." She said worriedly.

Redpool wasn't going to get into conclusions first.It wouldn't be that Russetstar and Silentstar were secretly meeting.They would have so happen to bump into each other.She looked at Ashtail as he asked a question and she went to look back at Claritypaw.She shook her head,deciding to meow."It won't be anything,they would be arguing about clan matters.They have been rivals for long,it can't be that they have suddenly be friendly to each other."

Redpool felt her ears twitch as she narrowed her eyes at the possibility."I'm trusting this on you Claritypaw.I will be discussing this with Russetstar and I'll get a great explanation I need,"she hissed slightly.The thought of the two leaders romantically involved was disgusting to her.Was it Russetstar's idea for joining the two together?She shivered at that thought,her tail already lashing.She let out a huff,"In the meantime,I do not want anyone to spread this.Keep your jaws shut and if I ever hear the possibility from the rest of the cats,I'll be finding you three."She looked at every single one of them,making sure they realized it was not just play.

Redpool huffed,"Even he knows not to lie to the deputy."She stated matter of factly.She rolled her eyes at the apprentices sudden curiosity."I do not know,"she replied truthfully,letting out a slightly annoyed sigh.She shook her head and scoffed."Silentstar?Nice?"she mused before meowing,"She seems nice to the sight with her smile and all but in her eyes it shows slyness.She's like a fox if I might say."She scrunched her nose at the description of the Sootclan leader.She was never in good terms with her anyways.She flicked her tail,looking down at Claritypaw."If I hear any attack without any proper command,I'll skin the one who made the attack the first place,"the deputy meowed firmly
