Pearl dashed away from the sight where the two rogues gossiped, her ears flattened against her head. Morons, they're just reckless slobs. They'd rather get hurt killing someone than live as peacefully as they can. She reached another alleyway, leaping onto a wooden crate. Her snow white fur always stood out in the darkness of the streets, quickly giving her away if someone was after her. She looked down at her paws, sinking her claws into the crate. As few have said before, I am a peaceful heart, not a killer.
She raised her head, her blue eyes sweeping around the area cautiously. Is someone else here, or am I on my own? She thought, flicking an ear as she curled her tail over her paws. If there was someone around, she didn't care whether she looked threatening or not, she just wanted to get by, peacefully.

Bear rolled his eyes at Owl, flicking his tail. Well don't you have a pride? I suppose it's too big to swallow... But hey, I suppose I'm not better. He was tempted to say those words out loud, but decided to keep it to himself. He narrowed his eyes at the rat, muttering. "Pathetic little creature... It should know that cats are a threat. They have brains the size of a flea." He looked into the shadows, smirking as he caught the scent of a rat. "In fact..."
The massive tom snuck towards the rat, as quietly as he could, and sprung, slamming a gigantic paw on it's spine. With a slight pained squeak, it became motionless. Bear picked up his prey and ate it, then returned over to Owl, swiping his tongue over his lips. He said in a sarcastic tone of voice, "Excuse my appearance..." He smirked slightly, mocking Pearl's polite attitude.
