Foxstride hissed, he had missed his kill opportunity.
"Oh well." he hissed to himself. His heart was still beating fast when he
stopped chasing. Picking up the rest of his kill he made his way to camp. Foxstride stopped at the kill
pile and sat his kill down.

As he was forced to the ground, Wolfspeckle allowed his apprentice to exert his anger, allowing a loud growl to rumble in his throat, listening to the tom vent his anger. "Actually, I don't act like I know everything," he corrected, rising to his feet and shaking himself off. "But my knowledge is superior to yours, and it's my job to ensure that this knowledge is passed on. But really, you're on no grounds to assume me being a know-it-all, when really, you're no better. Let's begin at the start. I was talking about my father, not yours. You also act like I have not lost a family member. I lost my mother at your age, so don't act like I don't know." Wolfspeckle flicked his tail, giving his apprentice a rather disappointed look.

"I don't give a mousetail if you want to take your anger out elsewhere, but don't you ever, ever take it out on a fellow warrior, because I will ensure that Owlstar keeps you an apprentice until you learn some self control. Understand?" he spoke, his tone just above a growl as he eyed off Bearpaw. "If you have no interest in practicing battle moves, fine. But I teach you so that you won't get shredded to pieces, and can live on to honour your family, and your clan. Life isn't all just about hunting and all the fun stuff. It's having responsibilities, and one of those is being able to protect your clan to the best of your ability." Wolfspeckle looked to Snowhawk, who hadn't said a word the entire time, and the white she-cat sighed, shaking her head.

"I have nothing to say on this, but I wish to begin training." Snowhawk spoke. "Birdpaw and I will be down on the beach once you two are ready." The she-cat motioned for her apprentice to follow, sliding down a small dune and looking at her apprenticre expectantly.

Bearpaw could feel the anger steaming off his pelt- he was clearly going to be a hot-tempered tom when he was older. "Fine! Let' just get training!" He snarls, padding after the two others- warrior and apprentice. How stupid did he look? Attacking and getting smart with his own mentor? He had just wanted a peaceful day to train, but he had been to stupid and hot headed. Now, he had no chance with Birdpaw. Hissing under his breath, he stops behind Snowhawk.

Birdpaw just sat with her grey eyes on her paws during the altercation. Her hatred of arguments made the she-cat feel very uncomfortable, especially when Bearpaw brought up his father. Wincing, Birdpaw tried to tune everything out. Listening to the breeze, the sound of the ocean, anything. The sound of waves crashing on the sand calmed Birdpaw down slightly, but the sound of her mentors voice brought her back to the situation at hand. Nodding, Birdpaw silently followed her mentor down the sandy hills. Her eyes grey eyes were locked on her mentor as they walked down closer to the water.

nightpaw blinked, yellow eyes widening to an almost comical size as he listened to his mentor. "yo-u mean that me-ed-icine cats actually us-e those to ki-ill others?" he asked, stuttering more pronounced than before. how could a medicine cat harm another like that? listening to skysong, he nodded to himself determinedly. he would be just like her, he decided. he would never, ever, use death berries to hurt another cat. as the apprentice padded along behind his mentor, he hoped that owlstar would allow them to destroy the bush just to be on the safe side.

Dawnlight nodded to the deputy. "Sure Coalfoot." She said glad to be leading a boarder patrol. She stood up looking for the two warriors, seeing Stormfur she walked over to him. "Hey Stormfur, Coalfoot wants you to come on a patrol." She felt a bit uncomfortable leading a patrol with a warrior old than herself in it but she had learnt to deal with it.

Skysong nodded. "Yes my mentor used it for cats that had green cough so bad that the were on the way to StarClan, to help them." She felt a sudden sadness talking about her mentor, he died a moon after she had become his apprentice. "But no matter how right he thought it was I will never do it." She said leading the way through the camp entrance and over to Owlstar where she sat. "Owlstar, we have found a death berry bush, I wanted to ask you what you think we should with it, you know that I will refuse to keep even one berry in my den and someone could die from eating one, don't you remember Berrypaw?" She said to her leader, she was one of the cats that could speak to the leader saying her mind even though she was a very young medicine cat.

Jaypaw had been awake for a while when his clan mates started waking up. He had always been an early riser and nothing would or could change that. No matter how hard he tried he could not sleep in past dawn. As the camp grew more and more active with each passing heartbeat he looked around for his mentor, yes he had only been an apprentice for a moon but he felt like it had been at least one season since he received his apprentice name alone. He didn't have much in common with his fellow apprentices being half rogue sort of cast him out, or that is how he felt anyway. He had always wondered what his mother was like but no one in the clan had met her except his father who was now hunting in StarClan, the only kin he had left was his fathers sisters Dawnlight and Skysong but he felt like they were not related at all.
