SOULSTREAM yawned. She stood up and looked around for willowwisp. She saw him lying on the ground, snoring away. She walked outside of the den to get some food, then noticed the fresh kill pile was almost empty. She sighed, she missed being a warrior. When she was, she could just run through the forest and bring back fresh kill. Sadly, those days were gone. She looked up at the rising sun and smelled the dew on the tips of the grass, it was all so beautiful. She was lucky that she was a young elder, in a way, and did not have to act as grumpy as willowwisp. she grabbed a vole and dragged it to the outskirts of camp. She started to eat.

Jaypaw wandered through the forest, he could feel leaf bare coming from the coolness around him and the frost on the ground. He realised he shouldn't be out here but he felt like he needed to, smelling mouse he crouched and pounced, killing it with one quick nip to the back of the neck he stood up and headed back to camp the warm prey still in his jaws.

S K Y S O N G

The medicine cat was walking through the forest able to see the lush green around her. Everything faded around her and she woke up to darkness, pure black and dark. She sat up in her nest and gave herself a quick wash, he blue fur slicked down again. She walked over to the herb stock and sniffed around making sure they were well stocked up with her, seeing that they needed more yarrow she made a mental note to tell Softpaw that they needed some more.

Dawnlight sat up properly when she saw the deputy come over to her. "Sure, I think I should give Sandpaw a test anyway, she'll be a warrior soon." She said getting up, seeing Rainclaw coming into camp she padded over to him, he had been hunting she could see that but she might as well ask if he would come on a hunting patrol. "I see you've just been hunting but would you mind coming on a patrol with your apprentice?" She asked.

RainClaw flickered his tail, placing the mouse he had caught in the fresh kill pile. He turned to DawnLight and nodded slightly. " Would love to. ", he meowed. He glanced around the camp. " Ermm... as soon as I figure out where he went...", he muttered to himself. He checked the apprentice den but, he wasn't in there. " Hmm seems he is out hunting already. Perhaps he can go get him while on our patrol?", he flickered his tail slightly.

SoftPaw & GingerPaw
SoftPaw glanced toward the apprentice den. She let out a small hiss and padded over to the den. When she poked her head in, she saw a lazy GingerPaw laying down. SoftPaw gently padded over and tugged at GingerPaw's ear. " Wake up. You're late for the morning patrols....", she half lied. Suddenly, GingerPaw slid her paw under SoftPaw's legs and SoftPaw fell with a yelp. " HEY! You liar! You weren't alseep!", she let out a angry hiss. GingerPaw was up now, giggling. " My bad~ ", she giggled some more and jumped out of the den. SoftPaw let out an unhappy meow and got up. She waited for a few moments, licking down her fur where she had puffed it up in surprise. Then, she went into the camp clearing.

sandpaw noticed she was the only one left in the den when she awoke. a yawn escaped her maw and she raised herself out of her nest and walked out into the open. the yelling of the elder, willowhisp echoing through her ears. she only put on a smile and padded over to his den. i'll happily take care of that for you willowhisp. she said gently, only remembering she would have go take a practice test with her mentor, dawnlight. a light grumble erupted in her stomach, but she merely ignored it. quickly, she walked into the elders den, ensuring that both the elders were out before she disrupted their nests. once she confirmed they were gone, she began away at pulling out the moss and rolling it into the clearing. i have to go find some more moss, i'll be back soon! she said the old tom, before bounding off into the trees to find moss hanging out at the bottom a tree.

addertooth noticed softpaw and gingerpaw were both now wide awake. he raised an eyebrow at the rambunctious kits and let out a light laugh remembering how he was when he was a kit. if you guys keep acting up like this, your mentors may have you clean and refresh everyone's nest. he said, as he continued on to find a few more warriors. everyone had an apprentice, so it would make things a lot easier. a patrol would need to be set soon, but if he can't get hunting started, how would he get patrol started? an exasperated sigh escaped his maw and sat down for a moment to think.

willowhisp looked at the young she-cat as she offered to take his bedding and clean it for him. he smiled and nudged the kit. your going to make a fine warrior! he yapped, standing up he shook off his pelt and walked further into the clearing where he laid down. his body sprawling across the dirt, and being warmed by the waking sun. he turned his attention toward dawnlight, one of the young warriors of the clan. as she spoke of going on a hunting patrol with sandpaw he let out a light laugh. she is currently cleaning my bedding, she just ran into the forest to fetch me some new moss. he said faced away from teh she-cat.

GingerPaw stuck out her tongue at the other cat. " And we are not kits!", she added lifting up her tail like a snob and padding away. She let out a giggle as she bumped into the highrock. " Ow...", she muttered, shaking her pelt off. " I wanna go practice hunting and fighting! Where's my mentor", she tilted her head to the side. She flickered her ears, looking around for her mentor.

Stonestar emerges from her den, her tail-tip twitching as she takes in the camp. Green eyes not a bit foggy from sleep, she pads out the fresh-kill pile and selects a vole. The air is still unusually warm for this time of year. It slightly troubles the young leader. Will the frost hit harder this year? Will the snows stretch into new-leaf? Will there be-- Stonestar cuts off her thoughts. Blackcough shouldn't come again. She finishes her vole and licks her muzzle absently. A flash of fur catches her eye and she sees Sandpaw racing off into the forest. She chuckles. The apprentices were eager to learn and doing so fast; they'd be warriors in no time. Stonestar walks over to Addertooth, noticing his rather flustered look. "Everything alright, Addertooth?" she inquires.

addertooth saw his leader approached and gave her a soft smile. nothings wrong, i'm just not prepared for leaf-bare. we also have a warrior ceremony coming up for sandpaw. i think there are a couple other i'm not sure. he said slowly starting to pace, turning around, before standing in front of his leader trying to calm down and not stress her out.

GingerPaw let out a hiss and followed her sister to the medicine cat den. " Yuck. I dont understand why you chose this place its so dark and gross.", she muttered. SoftPaw turned to her," I chose this because I can help more cat then you ever could. I knew I was no where near good at hunting or fighting but I could catch a few things and I do know a few defensive moves. I like it in this " dark and gross " place. " She let out a hiss and turned her back to her sister. GingerPaw rolled her eyes slightly and bounced out of the den. " Heyyy anyone know where my mentor is?", she let out a loud meow.
