    firelight

    name: firelight

[ she was named firekit at her birth for her bright, flame-colored pelt. at her apprentice ceremony she was named firepaw, and when she finally became a warrior, she was given the name firelight for her honest, bright personality. ]

    age: twenty-seven moons

[ firelight was born into the clan alongside her two brothers, stonefang and rooksplash. her father is a tom that was never present in her life. being raised with the two toms gave firelight a great advantage as a shecat. their roughness taught firelight to have a thicker skin, and she learned to be confident in herself, to never be afraid to speak her mind, and to keep her head up. both of her brothers are now deceased. stonefang was killed by a bear, and rooksplash later lost his life to greencough. cherrybloom, her mother, was a gentle, loving shecat who died of old age not long after retiring to the elders' den. even though she lost her family, firelight is still relatively happy, not letting the grief of the loss affect her too greatly. ]

    gender: she - cat

[ firelight may have been raised along-side toms, but she is a female without a doubt. from the way she walks, to the way she talks, her femininity is clear. if you have to ask, there are probably some issues. ]

    position: warrior

[ firelight has been a warrior since she was twelve moons old, and she has no true desire to change that. if she were chosen as deputy she would accept the position gratefully , but she is content as long as she is helping the clan she grew up in. ]

    apprentice: robinpaw

[ firelight has been training robinpaw for four moons now and although the young shecat does have much to learn, firelight is confident that she will be an excellent warrior. ]

description: orange && white tabby. blue eyes. muscular.

[ firelight isn't a very small cat, though she isn't particularly large either. she has a slender form and a muscular body that is strong and firm. her well-built frame is covered by a medium-length coat of ginger and white fur, and her long, plume-like tail is ringed with dark orange stripes. She is a little beauty, really, from her sparkling sea blue eyes to her four, tufted white paws. ]

traits: confident. outgoing. opinionated. loyal. flirtatious. hard-headed.

[ since her kithood, firelight has been well known for her self-confidence. where others might waver in step, she has stood strong. she has a thick skin and can take a beating, physically or verbally, without letting it slow her down. firelight is opinionated, though, so if it is her ideas that are being attacked, she can be very hard-headed and closed-minded. this might be her worst trait, because she would strongly defend her ideas, wether they are right or wrong, simply because of pride. ]

love life: no crush or mate.

[ at this point, firelight does not have a romantic interest. she is flirtatious and outgoing, but she is also rather picky and hasn't yet found a tom she'd like to have kits with. this is something very important to her because she strongly wants kits and a mate who wants them as much as her, and she'll settle for nothing less. also, firelight wants a tom who won't be intimidated by her outspoken attitude and her brutal honesty, so she's had to be rather patient.

I hope her form is ok. :3 I reread it in case I made any typos (I'm on my iPod) but if I missed any little mistakes please excuse them. Also, if you would like I can make a tom as well. Just let me know. Thank you.

{ the spot of deputy has been reopened, and this also means that there is another prophecy position available. If you wish to take this last prophecy position, plus the position of deputy, let me know. You don't need to take both if you don't want to, but I would like to start soon.

{{ Yes, and the last prophecy position has been filled. I'll have the actual prophecy up soon. We may begin.
Also, message me any crushes that you have, so I can add them to the front.

It's mid-way through Newleaf, and there's no major news at the moment.

    COALFUR
    ____________________________________________________________________________________
Warrior || Female || Tags; None

Sun streamed through the cracks in the den, and Coalfur opened her eyes, stifling a yawn as she rose to her paws and looked around. It didn't seem like too far into the day, possibly not too far past Sunup, but Coalfur didn't want to ask anyone, seeing as the majority of them were still asleep. Waking the others would be a rather bad idea, especially catching them when they were in an extremely foul mood. The dark warrior had no desire to get her ears shredded, that was for sure. After all, she already had her fair share of cuts and bruises from any time she had done such.

Slipping out of the den, Coalfur allowed herself to yawn, glancing around the empty camp. There wasn't as much ash as there had been yesterday; the wind must have blown it away, which was good. Patrolling wouldn't be as difficult today; she would have to listen to the apprentices complaining about getting ash in their fur. That was always a nuisance in itself! Coalfur chuckled at the thought, padding to sit in the centre of camp, yawning once more. Hopefully, Crowfoot would send her on a patrol. After all, she had no apprentice to look after, so there wasn't much else for her to do.

    SMOKEPAW
    ____________________________________________________________________________________
Apprentice || Male || Tags; None

If Snowdrift found out that he'd been outside camp alone, he would be in so much trouble.

Smokepaw hissed under his breath, nudging the dead mouse he had caught with his paw. He'd been so awfully bored, what did the others expect him to do!? Sleeping was boring, especially when he had to share the cave with Sparrowpaw, and he snored. It would have only been a matter of time before the grey tom had turned his fellow clanmate into mousedust, so leaving the camp to do some late night hunting had been the best option. Surely some of the warriors and apprentices found the snoring horrible; after all, they all shared a den.

With the thought, Smokepaw picked up his mouse, resisting the underlying urge to bit into it, and eat it now. He was hungry, and it was breakfast time, but he wasn't supposed to eat before the others, and then he'd be in even more trouble than before. Sighing, the tom turned to face the direction back to camp, and made his way back.

Tossing his mouse into the fresh-kill cave, Smokepaw slouched down outside, yawning. He would just have to wait for Snowdrift to wake, before he went on any more adventures.

Ravenpaw walked over to the fresh kill pile, picking up a mouse and a vole he took the vole to his mentors nest and dropped it beside him. Then going back outside he dropped the mouse in front of himself he began to eat. He wondered what it would be like to be a warrior apprentice, every now and then he asked himself that but he could never answer, he watched the camp grow busier as he ate his mouse. No one talked to him or came near him, he wasn't surprised he was a medicine cat apprentice and blind. The reason he had gotten up so early was he still wasn't used to sleep in the medicine cat den, he had only been a medicine cat for two days and was still getting used to an almost empty den.

Robinpaw headed straight to the fresh kill pile after grooming herself in her nest. Picking up a rabbit she headed to the elders den hopping that she wouldn't wake them up. Dropping it inside so the sleeping elders would see it when they woke up she walked back out of the den and looked around camp for her mentor. She sat down a few tail lengths away from the exit to camp looking around for her mentor.

    SNOWDRIFT
    age; 24 moons
    gender; she-cat
    rank; warrior
    status; single
    tags; smokepaw

Snowdrift couldn't help but be a little bit annoyed by the fact that she had yet again had a restless sleep. Tiredness clung to her and the stiffness within her body made her even more sleepy if it was possible, her pale blue eyes narrowed as she peered out of the warriors den, so far it looked as if only one or two cats had awoken. The slender white she-cat slowly rose into a sitting position in her nest, her body protesting as she moved. Her muscles ached and her joints cracked as she sat up. As she looked around the den she found herself looking for two certain cats she knew she wouldn't see again, she had done this several times before; only to realise that both weren't here. Whitesplash, her annoying brother and his best friend, Swiftleap. The two warriors had both died well over four moons again and Snowdrift still suffered from the loss, but she was recovering. A faint smile spread across her muzzle and her pale blue eyes closed as she let the memories take her from reality. She remembered despising the two for so long, always having a smart comeback to any of the teasing comments they made towards her. They were basically her enemies, but in someway, they were friends. Snowdrift reopened her eyes a frown now replacing the faint smile, the cause of Whitesplash's death remained unknown to the whole clan, but she knew exactly what had killed Swiftleap. It now scarred her mind and just the scent of a badger caused Snowdrift to go rigid with fright. And now with that thought lingering in her mind, her heart clenched painfully. Snowdrift had disliked Swiftleap, but due to the death of her brother the two looked for comfort and found it within one another; that had been the start to something a lot better. But of course, that light at the end of the tunnel had been short lived as Swiftleap soon passed as well as the kits she hadn't known she'd been expecting. Snowdrift hated herself for falling into a depression which killed the lives of three, but she knew she couldn't turn back time and now she had to live with her choices.

Snowdrift blinked her eyes a few times and looked around the den, now banishing the thoughts from her mind as she staggered to her paws and emerged from the den. Her gaze fell onto her apprentice, Smokepaw; who seemed to be resting. She headed over in his direction, gently prodding his flank as she sat back on her haunches.
"Smokepaw." She greeted, ears pricking forward. "Did you sleep well?" Snowdrift question after a few brief moments. The slender white she-cat wrapped her lashing tail around her forepaws, breathing inwards only to frown as she caught a scent. It lingered on Smokepaw's pelt, the scent of the grass, trees and other scents from the forest. It was fresh too, so obviously he had already been out this morning.

    DAWNSTAR

She'd slept in. Again. It was only to be expected, as she'd seen eight leafbares and had lived for an innumerable amount of moons. Leading a Clan wore down on a cat, but the old she-cat felt she wouldn't change it for the world. She'd been granted guardianship of her clanmates many seasons ago, and her nine lives given so she could sacrifice herself for their good had been whittled down to a mere four. Her lives in StarClan grew more solid and brighter with every one lost and she could only hope that the troubles of recent moons had ceased and that her Clan could live in peace. But ash still coated the ground and made it hard to hunt; many a night she had gone hungry to allow her clanmates a piece of prey. And that was not their only worry. Cats had been disappearing almost constantly only to reappear, dead, outside the camp. And every time Dawnstar had to sit by their lifeless eyes and speak the ritual words to send their spirits to StarClan and the Tribe of Endless Hunting. In addition, greencough had also taken many lives over the leafbare period, including one of her own. She'd caught the dreaded illness after visiting the sick in the medicine cave. However, only herself and Wolfspeckle knew just how many lives she had left. Just to top it off, the young warrior (and the mate of grieving Snowdrift) Swiftleap had been slaughtered by a badger. Not to mention the fact that no kits had been born in moons. If this carried on, she would have no choice but to accept cats from outside the Clan.

Rising to her paws from her nest with a heavy sigh, Dawnstar shook out her long fur and quickly groomed it with her rough tongue, smoothing down tufts and nibbling on knots to loosen them. Crowfoot should be up soon to organise the patrols and she rather felt like going on one of them, for a change. Besides, she liked to see her camp come to life in the morning rays. Flicking her tail, she padded outside slowly and sat next to the entrance of her cool den, ears pricked. Just as soon as Crowfoot was awake, she'd tell him she wished to go on a patrol before waking her apprentice, Cinderpaw. Hopefully there would be a saviour to their dark path soon.

    Crowfoot
xxx deputy xxx tags; coalfur, dawnstar
It had been yet another long and restless night for Crowfoot. His sleep had been oddly overcome by being awake the whole night, so Crowfoot was awake long before any other cat in the clan. Before the others had begun to rise, he had found his way to the fresh-kill cave and plucked a plump mouse off the small pile. He ate the succulent meat with tender slowness, so as to make it more enjoyable. Once he was finished and all cleaned up, cats began to wake up and come crawling out of their dens. First, Crowfoot noticed Coalfur slip out of the warrior's den. He padded over to her and smiled a warm greeting. "Goodmorning, Coalfur. I would like you to lead a border patrol this morning with Snowdrift, Smokepaw, and Tumblestep in tow," he said, and then nodded a solemn excuse and walked away to set up the hunting patrol. That's when he noticed Dawnstar sitting outside of her den, and he grinned. The she-cat must have just awoken, he assumed as he made his way across camp to sit next to her. "I have set up a border patrol, and I believe I am going to send out two hunting patrols as it seems our kill pile is growing low."

    Linden
        xxx loner xxx tags; none
Linden was lonely, always trekking by herself in this cold, ashy forest. Why she had left the warmth and loving environment of her twoleg family moons ago, she would never know herself. She wanted to go out and adventure, and had taken the opportunity to leave the house when the small twoleg had left the front door open. Now, she slept under bushes and in cold places, and survived on the measly prey she was able to hunt. Linden was walking along the edge of a tiny stream, hoping to find at least a mouse to hunt. She had not eaten yesterday, as the prey she attempted to catch escaped her hungry claws at the last second. Squeak, squeak! Linden froze in her spot at the sound of a small rodent somewhere up ahead of her. She crouched down low, ears straight up and listening for movement. There it was! A vole was making it's way towards the stream, looking to have a nice drink of water on this chilly morning. Linden waited patiently, watching as the vole got closer and closer to its impending death. She was growing anxious, hunger edging her to move faster. She sprang from her spot too soon, and the vole ran for it's life. Linden pounced after it, running and avoiding the forest's obstacles at the same time. Just as she was about to wrap her greedy paws around the vole's body, it sprang in to a hole, and Linden knew she had lost her chance at catching the prey. Sighing in defeat, she sat down to catch her breath. Unbeknownst to her, however, was she now sat within a clan territory, for the vole had led her right past the border.
