xxxxxxx Every kingdom needs a ruler, and every ruler needs a kingdom. Welcome to Castrum Draconis, the current home of the Vampdagon Royals. Every generation, a treaty is signed to keep peace with the neighboring kingdom, and every year, they would marry a noble or an heir of one of the neighboring kingdoms to ensure the peace. Castrum Leonis is one of the difficult kingdoms that Castrum Draconis faces every twenty-five years to renew their treaty. To settle the dust, the two kings arranged a marriage between the eldest son of Castrum Draconis and the eldest daughter of Castrum Leonis. Luckily, the two queens gave birth to the correct genders; Castrum Draconis gaining a male heir and Castrum Leonis gaining a female heir. They were betroth since birth.

xxxxxxx It had been three years now and the two wolves that would unite the two kingdoms are finally at age to be mated with each other. Genevieve, the eldest daughter of the Castrum Leonis king, is now holder of the throne within her kingdom after her father's death and her mother stepping down. Even though the king is dead, the young female decides to keep the treaty, fulfilling her parents' request. Channing, the heir and eldest son of the Castrum Draconis king, is preparing for Genevieve's arrival. Unlike Genevieve, Channing requires to be mated to her to take the throne since he father is now dead yet. This is the first time that the two will ever meet, and the first time the new queen will step into a foreign court. This will also be the start of their reign.

[ the royals ]

king geffrey - open ;; geffrey is currently seven years old. he's old, but not very old. after all, he still has more than ten years to go. he's a cold, ruthless king to others that are not in his kingdom, but is kind to those that concern him, which are his people. he isn't very committed, having many affairs behind the queen's back, although the whole kingdom knows of his mistresses.
queen bonnie - open ;; bonnie is slightly older than geffrey, being eight years old. she knows of her husband's betrayal in their marriage, but she has more important things to take care of; getting genevieve out of here. she was told by her seer that genevieve would bring death to her son and the kingdom. she's usually warm and welcoming, but will do anything to protect channing.
prince channing - taken ;; channing is a new adult; three years old. he is the biological son of queen bonnie and king geffrey, adoptive brother of prince finnegan, and fiancé of queen genevieve. though he is betroth since birth, he is very nervous about meeting the queen of castrum leonis. a conflicted lad indeed since channing's heart does belong to another she-wolf, for now.
prince finnegan - taken ;; finnegan is older than his adoptive brother at four years old. he was found on the trip back from another kingdom and was adopted by the king and queen. finnegan may not be the heir, but he is the favorite of the king. unlike channing, he has seen queen genevieve and has taken an interest in the fae, even though he knows it is an act of treason.

[ the nobles ]

lady samantha - taken ;; samantha is a wealthy girl who is still only two years old, a young adult. she is the love interest of channing and plots against his fiancé, wanting to take her place as the queen of castrum draconis. she truly does love channing though. samantha works with queen bonnie, plotting their way to get rid of genevieve, but unlike bonnie, she's doing it for love.
lady cliaranne - taken ;; cliaranne is three years old, the older sister of samantha. unlike her sister, she sees the wrongness with her dangerous affair with prince channing. cliaranne is a very logical she-wolf who just doesn't want to see her sister end up hurt, or worse; dead. she is the close friend of finnegan and a wolf that the queen does not fancy to by around with very much.

[ the servants ]

joseph - taken ;; joseph an experienced guard at four years old. his job is to do one thing and one thing only; make sure that nothing horrible happens to channing, even if it means laying his life on the line. joseph is a charming, cocky brute who takes most of the female's attention, but all he wants is the lady calypso, somebody who's too noble for him, a lost and farfetched dream.
arabella - taken ;; arabella is a three year old handmaiden to the queen, bonnie, but for the time being, she is the handmaiden to queen genevieve. she has a hard time working at the castle since she is one of of king geffrey's mistresses. she often tries to call it off, but the wealth that he gives always made her come back, but now, arabella has her eyes set on a leonis wolf, mason.

queen genevieve - taken ;; after her father's death, three year old princess genevieve became the queen, allowing her mother to step down. she is extremely nervous about arriving at castrum draconis since she hasn't been there before and will keep her friends, the ladies in waiting, closest to all. she is completely head over heels for channing, but feels he has an affair with another.

lady calypso - taken ;; one of the three ladies in waiting, calypso is the youngest lady in waiting, being only two years old. calypso is only an honorary noble due to being one of genevieve's close friend and having been invited by her queen to come there with her. calypso is just a conflicted wolf who had fallen for stefan, but knows that she has to be mated to a noble wolf for her family's sake.
lady willamina - taken ;; one of the three ladies in waiting, willamina is three years old and the closest friend to genevieve of the three females. due to being from a wealthy family, willamina has been to many kingdoms before, including castrum draconis. her last visit here did not do her any kindness since she, like arabella, had been admired by king geffrey, who she secrety fancies.
lady trinity - taken ;; one of the three ladies in waiting, trinity is actually the oldest, being four, and is like willamina, coming from a noble family, but has not made an appearance at castrum draconis before. although she has taken an interest in prince finnegan, trinity does not have any real feeling for the brute, just his title. her heart ache to be joseph's, even if he doesn't hold a title.

mason - taken ;; one of the chosen knights, sent to protect their beloved queen genevieve, and is not an official noble until his queen and castrum draconis's future king are mated or be mated to a titled wolf in draconis; mason is only three years old, being most of the wolves' age. of course, not only is he here to protect, he's here to find a fae. right now, he's only interested in lady cliaranne.
chandler - taken ;; one of the chosen knights, sent to protect their beloved queen genevieve, and is not an official noble until his queen and castrum draconis's future king are mated or be mated to a titled wolf in draconis; chandler is actually six years old, being the oldest of the four knights. little does his queen or any of the wolves know it, chandler and queen bonnie hide a secret affair.
benjamin - taken ;; one of the chosen knights, sent to protect their beloved queen genevieve, and is not an official noble until his queen and castrum draconis's future king are mated or be mated to a titled wolf in draconis; he is four years old and very strict and not very tolerant of many things. benjamin has an eye for their young queen, but he tries not to show it at all to be safe.
stefan - taken ;; one of the chosen knights, sent to protect their beloved queen genevieve, and is not an official noble until his queen and castrum draconis's future king are mated or be mated to a titled wolf in draconis; stefan's like benjamin, being four too. he has no interest in any fae right now and is the only wolf that has suspicion of samantha and bonnie's feelings towards genevieve.
