The large black stallion flicked his ears as he stood under the lone tree in the middle of the large field. He snorted as a fly flew up his nose and tossed his head. He stepped out of under the tree and his mane went with the wind. He looked to where the woods were. He took a step, his muscles rippling under his skin. He sped up and began to trot. His gait slowly got faster as he galloped towards the woods, his stride huge and his head high.

The grey mare walked out of the woods, her head lowered to the green grass. She snorted and took a nibble. She looked up, seeing another horse. She went on with her business. Sky tore at the delicious grass. She was at the other side of the small field, and felt safe with the distance between the her and the horse, which she guessed was a stallion, judging by his size.
